Kaorin Sakura: 	Theo had been traveling through Tohoku and hitched a ride on the back of a Delivery Man's truck.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Though, he was not alone, two girls had the same idea.

Kaorin Sakura: 	The three didn't quite know where the truck was headed but that it was much kinder on their feet than roughing it.

	Lilea: 	Lilea was dozing off, an oddish on her head and an ekans curled in her lap.
* Yumi is strumming notes on her guitar while she looks around, playing whatever song comes to mind.
	Theo: 	"So, where are you two lovely ladies headin'?"
	Lilea: 	"hn?" Lilea opened her eyes and blinked, "Oh? Well I just started my badge hunting, any town sounded good."
	Yumi: 	"I was hoping to set up shop in Promise Town, if I like Tohoku. Otherwise, I'm heading down to Kanto or Johto."
	Yumi: 	"Once I'm set up enough, I was thinking of going through some Contests."
	Lilea: 	Lilea yawned and stretched back, a startled oddish rolling off her head.
	Theo: 	"Never been ta Kanto... maybe I'll head there some day."
	Whitepedal: 	"Uuun!" tumbletumbletumble
	Theo: 	"So you're a badge hunter, eh? Wanna few tips from th' best?"
	Yumi: 	"It seems nice enough, if you ignore the large amount of Poison-types in the area."
	Lilea: 	"You've done it before? That'd be great!" Lilea frowned a little, she liked poison types.
	Theo: 	"You bet I have. Here, take a look!" Theo flashes his badge case to reveal some badges from various gyms.
	Yumi: 	"'The best'? How many badges do you have, then?" She raised an eyebrow, looking at Theo.
	Lilea: 	Lilea looked over to see if she knew any of them. "Hm, not from where I am."
	Theo: 	"Ah've traveled all over th' place, to all sorts of regions."
	Yumi: 	"Bit of a wanderer, then?"
	Theo: 	"Yep. Never had any need ta settle. Jus' gotta get up 'n go."
	Lilea: 	"You can't eat any Olivia." The snake frowned.
	Olivia: 	Olivia laid her head down again, friegning disinterest.

* Theo put his badge cases back in his bag.
A whistling sound is heard and the sounds of popping tires explodes into the air!
	Marty: 	"W-Whoooa!!"
	Theo: 	"What in tarnation-"
	Whitepedal: 	"U-oh?!" Whitepedal looked around nerviously.
The truck skids off to the side of the road.
	Yumi: 	"You didn't say how many y--" she stops, nearly dropping her guitar as she's jostled and surprised from the sudden disruption.
Avara: 	i guess the whistling was -not- a sonic attack?
	Lilea: 	Lilea hugged the nearest large object to stop herself from tumbling about!

	Marty: 	* Marty looks in his rear view mirror, "A-Are those bug Pokémon...?"
Behind the truck approaches four looking to be quite angry Bug Pokémon.
* Yumi stands up, and turns to face the bug-types, having been riding in the back of the truck (if that's okay. not really a lot of room in the truck itself)

	Theo: 	Losing interest in the battle, Theo decides to help with the tires. "Ah'll hold 'em up. You guys see if we can get it to work."

* Tobias settles in the truck, after finishing his meal. The grass is pretty clean--Tobias is not a messy eater.

	Weedle 1: 	Weedle looks a little calmer. This Lilea sounded a lot better than that Beedrill that would bully him into work...
	Yumi: 	"Like I said, that was -not- normal behavior for Beedrill. Maybe they'll know more in town."
	Lilea: 	"Those two asked if you could use your webbing to help fix our tire, could you help us out sweetie?"
	Weedle 1: 	Weedle nodded and wriggled off to work!
	Theo: 	"Yer being suprisin'ly nice ta somethin' that was jus' tryin' ta kill us."
	Weedle 1: 	Weedle uses Threaded to create material! Letting the crafters figure out how to place the sticky webbing before it sets.
	Lilea: 	"I have a way with pokemon. At least that's what people tell me..."
* Yumi holds out one arm, and Tobias lands on the sleeve of her coat. "Why not? You make allies where you can."
	Marty: 	"I'm grateful to you if you can fix my tires! I got a Delivery to make!"
	Lilea: 	"We're doing what we can Mister!"

Marty: (( I'll say she can scream air into the tires via their inflation tubes. ))

	Lilea: 	Lilea hopped into the back and pulled all her pokemon onto her lap. The weedle looked uncomfortable watching the buldge in the Ekans' body.
Marty: (( You have Hyper Voice. What roll would you need? ))
Avara: 	6 hyper voice
Avara: 	i want to keep yumi!
	Lilea: 	Lilea returned the weedle, it was hurt!
Avara: 	can she show up again in AEB Pa some time?
Air fills into a tire as Yumi carefully takes the inflation nozzle into her mouth and screams into ti, bringing it to 62 psi.
Marty: (( Don't see why not. ))
	Theo: 	((Would be lovely for her to revisit Theo after all those years.))
* Yumi quickly seals up the tires once they're refilled, laughing a little. Her lungs always have been powerful... She puts the tube back in the tool kit, and climbs back into the truck. "Come on, let's go."
	Marty: 	"I have newfound respect for you young musicians. I'll never complain about your rock music again."
	Yumi: 	"Good to hear!" She chuckles a bit more, before settling into her corner and starting her playing again, Tobias resting on her shoulder.
	Theo: 	"That was some... er, rather impressive lung power."
	Lilea: 	"Yeah..."
	Yumi: 	"I've always had strong lungs. Just took some work to build them up that much."
	Yumi: 	"It's going to help once I hit the contest circuit, to make sure I'm heard over the crowd's cheers."
Marty starts the vehicle and begins driving off in the direction of the city.
Marty pulls into the small town and drives slowly up to the PokéMart.
	Marty: 	"Alright, here we are. You guys'll have to walk from here on out."
Lilea: 	"Thanks for the ride! Are you sure it's okay free?"
	Typha: 	"You! Where have you BEEN? It's been weeks since we last had a delivery and we need those supplies now more than ever!"
Theo: 	"No problem. Thanks fer th' ride"
* Yumi recalls the slightly sleepy Tobias, then dismounts the truck. "Thanks for the ride, Marty." She turns, looking at Typha.
	Marty: 	"Ma'am? Sorry, but there weren't nothin' scheduled 'till-"
	Yumi: 	(knowledge general too identify?)
Typha: (( She's not well known enough yet to be known ))
	Typha: 	"You haven't heard? Great. I see the word still hasn't... rrrgh. Look. You know the Bug-types that dinged up your ride? They've been getting more and more aggressive over the past month or two. At first it was nothing serious, but... Over the past few weeks they've really gone crazy. They'll attack people on-sight, and any motor they hear just sets them off. We're not sure what's going on, but it's gotten hard to even defend the town, let alone get out of here. So, thanks for the stuff. But now you're kinda stuck and it's just a bad situation getting worse every day."
	Yumi: 	('kay)
	Lilea: 	"Bugs... not fun. They keep resisting my little poison friends."
	Yumi: 	"Sounds like you could use some help?"
	Theo: 	"Bugs on a rampage... nobody knows what's going on...this sounds like an adventure!"
	Lilea: 	"Y-yeah? YEAH!" That's all it took to fire her up.
	Yumi: 	"Akino Yumi, up-and-coming rock star at your service," Yumi says with an over-dramatic bow.
* Typha looks over to Yumi and then to Theo.
	Typha: 	"Look, if - IF - your Pokemon are in good condition, then we definitely could use the help. We don't have anyone else to spare from defending the town. Here's the deal: I'm betting the researchers who came through here a few months ago have something to do with all this. At the least, we could use some more brains with Bug-type experience to try and figure this all out. But they're actually WELL SUPPLIED ENOUGH -" she says, glaring at Marty, "- that we don't see them all that often. If you could find them and see what they know, that would be useful."
* Marty sheepishly turned to his truck.
	Lilea: 	"Jeez, don't be so hard on him, he's doing the best he can..." Charm 32 On Typha.
* Typha glances to Lilea before running a hand through her hair.
	Theo: 	"Sounds like this town needs a hero! Leave it to me and my assistants here. We'll find those researchers and solve yer bug problem!"
	Yumi: 	"Tobias and Lee are doing fine. Tobias got hit during the fight, but it wasn't anything serious. I'd be glad to help someone as cute as you." 27 MORE charm on Typha.
	Typha: 	"Yeah, it's just--we---it's been hard on everyone here. The Bug attacks, right around the time I start building a Gym, and with bugs eating my Grass types-well-they're still recovering in the Pokémon Center after the last attack."
	Lilea: 	"I understand that, but it's times like this we all got to pull together and not lash out."
* Yumi shifts the guitar strap on her shoulder a bit, then looks around. "So... you said some researchers might know more about what's going on, right? Where are they?"
	Typha: 	"They had some project in mind about studying Bug-type swarming behavior, I think. They've got some camp out in the forest, but I've never been there. It was a guy and a girl, a little older than you all. Not quite Pokemon Professors yet, if you get my drift. They also always had white labcoats; pretty sure it was the only coats they had, but it's been warm lately so we didn't make too much fun of them."
	Yumi: 	"Which way? I'll head out right away."
	Lilea: 	"U-um, me too!"
	Typha: 	"From here, make a left and when you hit the town square, make a right. Go pass my Gym and make a left at the 'welcome to Carrico' sign. Keep straight from there. The path should lead you to it."

	Typha: 	"I'm not yet. I was setting up shop!! I still have my Gym to finish. I built it but now I have to furnish it."
	Lilea: 	"All right! I'll train around here until I can take you on! This bug problem sounds like excellent practice!"
	Yumi: 	"Maybe the badge fight can happen after the problem's all resolved. I don't normally go after badges, but... why not. It could be fun." She winks to Typha, then turns to walk away.
* Typha rubs the back of her neck and sighs heavily.
	Theo: 	"Then what are we waitin' for? To th' forest!"
* Yumi calls from about a block away with her ultimate lungpower. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO WAITING FOR?!"
	Typha: 	"You do that and this town wll be more than greatful."
