  1. Humans
  2. -Your basic species. You all are (probably) humans irl, so I shouldn't need to talk about them too much. Humans here are mostly the same, except many have the magical abilities like I discussed above.
  3.
  4. Vampires
  5. -Vampires resemble humans, except tend to be much paler, and often look sick or tired all the time. They need to feed on blood at least once a week, or they will go into an uncontrollable Blood Rage and then die. Vampires are slightly stronger than normal humans, and can shapeshift into one animal at will, though what animal they get they do not choose. They get weak around wooden objects. Vampires cannot go out in daylight without an enchanted artifact, which are quite rare, so there should not be too many full-blood vampire PCs.
  6.
  7. Half-Vampires
  8. -Half-Vampires are a rarity; only able to be born from a vampire and human parent, and even then only about 20% of couples can produce viable offspring. They are capable of walking in the day and are very strong, though not as strong as a full Vampire. They display a mild ability to control small animals, and cannot shapeshift.
  9.
  10. Mewling
  11. -A Mewling is a strange creature; they are mostly human like, though they bear cat ears and tail, as well as sharply clawed fingers and vaguely feline faces. They tend to be hyperactive and a little spacey, and prone to hunting mice and small animals. They hate water. They are not quite as strong as a normal human, but quite faster.
  12.
  13. Were
  14. -Think "Werewolf" but expanded to many other kinds of animal. The most common are Wolves, Leopards, Boars, Bears, and Foxes, though other species are not unknown. As the dates start to get closer to the full moon, a were will start to get more and more animalistic, getting more hairy, sharper nails and teeth, etc, until the full moon, when they take on a fully animal form. When in this form, they retain humanity, but express more animal-like tendencies, and must find nourishment appropriate for their species. Weres are weak to silver, and prone to scratching themselves, growling, and otherwise behaving like an animal.
  15.
  16. Fae
  17. -The Fae are a mysterious bunch. Resembling tall, willowy humans, often with pale skin and fair hair, but not always, they blend in quite well...except for the fact that their eyes are a solid colour, and tend to glow. Fae can work natural magic quite well, but trade it in for the fact that they are extremely frail, and tend to have weak stomaches for non-completely natural food. They dislike using metals for much of anything, preferring wood or stone where they can substitute it. Fae tend to be quite snobby, believing themselves above other races.
  18. There is a subgroup of the Fae, known as "Dark Ones" or Dark Fae. They tend to have midgnight black skin, though sometimes tinted blue or purple, and very pale hair and red eyes, though other eye colours are not unknown. The Dark Fae usually live underground, so they are rare on the surface, and are usually very sensitive to bright light. Dark Fae can commune with and control spiders.
  19.
  20. Furre
  21. -Furre are often mistaken for their distant cousins, the Were, much to their annoyance. They resemble anthropomorphic animals, and tend to be shorter than most humans. They, like Were, are more animal-like than most, though it shows more in their appearance. They are beastly strong, but tend to be slow-moving. Furre can come in many shapes and sizes, though mammals are most common. Reptilian and avian Furre females do not have breasts, as they are not mammals. They do not have any natural powers, beyond their strength, though they can be born with magical ability much like humans.
