- Dynamaxing Disobedience
- The crowd was almost deafening.
- You couldn’t believe it. You had heard the stories. Seen them on television, even. But it was your first time in one of the Galar region’s stadiums.
- Even if it was just an entry-level challenger cup, it was daunting, to say the least.
- Row after row of eager people up in the surrounding bleachers, all here to see you. Well, you and your opponent. Mostly your opponent, actually: the big, muscular guy standing on the other side of the field, decked out in sponsorships and striking a dramatic pose while offering a confident grin to you and the crowd. He looked pretty sure about himself, pokéball already in-hand.
- Normally, in a situation like this, you would be nervous. You were a terrible trainer – not a single badge to your name, but you had a secret weapon.
- Okay, two secret weapons, if you wanted to get technical.
- One: your brother’s favorite Pokémon. You couldn’t believe he was willing to loan this thing out to you; even with no Pokémon to call your own, he had told you this one was all you needed. The pokéball’s reassuring weight hung from your belt loop.
- The other? Well, the other was your secret weapon. It was wrapped tightly around your wrist and concealed underneath your long-sleeved shirt. It’s not like you were the only person who owned one, but to call them rare was an understatement.
- You tapped at the metallic bracelt, just to remind yourself that in this battle, the victor had already been decided.
- In the end, you were right about that – but, man, hindsight would have you wishing you thought these things through better.
- The announcer said your name. You waved to the crowd, took hold of your pokéball, and said, “Go, Lopunny!”
- Yes, your secret weapon was a Lopunny – no shame in that, right?
- No, of course not. There were absolutely no stereotypes surrounding the uncomfortably curvy, brown-furred normal-type ‘mon that would make you feel remotely embarrassed sending him out in front of an entire audience, thank you very much.
- Wait, sending him out?
- You could’ve sworn your brother’s Lopunny was a girl. But, no – not like Pokémon wore clothes, after all. The evidence was right there. The rabbit Pokémon prancing around the battlefield, waving and shaking its hips in front of the cheering audience was, in fact, a male.
- Well, you guessed that wouldn’t really affect Lopunny’s ability to wreck your opponent’s Pokémon; your brother had assured you that he was at a very high level.
- You called out to Lopunny. He turned around, tilted his head, then stuck out his tongue and winked.
- That seemed like a good sign… right?
- “And now, defending his title…” the announcer rambled on about your opponent for quite some time. Clearly, he was a fan favorite. You felt a bit bad, since this Lopunny was going to crush the competition.
- Literally, in this case, considering your other secret weapon.
- “Go, Lucario!”
- Shit, a fighting type.
- But that was okay – even with the type disadvantage, this Lopunny was supposed to be strong.
- “Use close combat!” your opponent shouted.
- Shit shit shit – you hadn’t even had a chance to issue orders! Lucario just darted forward across the grassy turf and lunged at Lopunny. Strong or not, your loaned Pokémon cried out as Lucario’s fists pounded against him with enough force that you winced at the sound of each successive impact.
- Lopunny went flying backwards, skidding across the turf before sprawling out right in front of you.
- “Oh, and our challenger’s only Pokémon looks like it’s almost down for the count!” the announcer yelled over the microphone.
- Lopunny was struggling to get up – he wasn’t even looking at Lucario. No, he was staring straight at you, and he appeared thoroughly battered, an accusatory glare on his face – as if this was somehow your fault.
- Well, in a way, it was, but still – you felt embarrassed. One attack later and you were going to lose your first official Pokémon battle.
- At least, you would have lost your first official battle, if not for the ace up your sleeve.
- No sense in waiting, you supposed. The truth was, you had been looking forward to this part.
- “Alright, Lopunny – time for our secret weapon!”
- The Pokémon looked at you, eyebrow raised. He had no idea what you were talking about. You hadn’t even met your brother’s Lopunny up until now. He just assured you he had given his Pokémon a briefing on the situation.
- “Your secret weapon?” your opponent asked, grinning all the while. “The battle’s been going on for three seconds! Just forfeit; your cute li’l Lopunny’s gonna get thrashed!”
- You had hoped you might have intimidated your opponent by mentioning a secret weapon, but no – he and the audience were laughing.
- “He’s recalling his Pokémon!” the announcer exclaimed; even he sounded amused as you held your pokéball aloft and put Lopunny back inside.
- You weren’t recalling him, though. Not quite.
- With a flourish, you pulled back your sleeve and revealed the metallic band wrapped around your wrist.
- “Wait, what’s this!?” The announcer sounded much more excited, now. “Ladies and gentlemen, he’s got a dynamax band!” The audience looked on in amazement as they saw your wristband light up. Whatever strange and ancient energies hid inside of the band exploded out in an instant – scintillating pinkish red light surged free from it and enveloped the pokéball containing your brother’s Lopunny. The ball was growing in your grasp – bigger, heavier, and pulsing with energy. It was so heavy, you needed two hands to hold it at this point.
- Your heart hammered. This was your first time using the dynamax band – you weren’t even supposed to have one. Still, your opponent had three Pokémon, and a dynamaxed ‘mon could use three moves before reverting back to normal. Each attack just had to knock out one Pokémon apiece.
- It was a big risk, but, hey – you had a big Pokémon.
- “Go, Lopunny!” you exclaimed. And, rather than throwing the gigantic ball forward into the ring, you turned around and sent it sailing away from you. For something so heavy, that expanded pokéball flew high into the air, the crowd holding their collective breath as it cracked open with what sounded like a peal of thunder.
- The outline of Lopunny emerged behind you. You tried to look smug, but you were as awestruck as your opponent and his Pokémon while watching that titanic form slowly manifest.
- Lopunny dominated the half of the arena in which he appeared. He stood there, giving you ample opportunity to see that you barely stood taller than one of the ‘mon’s “dainty” toes. Your eyes crept up the length of your unleashed secret weapon. He was covered in that pinkish aura, his colossal frame radiating power.
- Of course, the towering Lopunny was still just as male as before.
- Seriously, dynamaxing had some strange cultural implications – did no one else notice the flopping Lopunny bits bigger than your entire body dangling up above?
- Maybe everyone was just too polite to mention it.
- Still, the dynamaxed ‘mon seemed the slightest bit different from when he went in the ball. It wasn’t just that he was massive enough to scoop several people up into one hands. Nor was it that the fluff around his wrists was deep enough to get lost in.
- No.
- You tried not to pay it too much attention, especially since that giant Lopunny was leering down at you with a bemused expression, hands resting on his hips. But, still, you couldn’t deny it:
- The Lopunny’s figure had been dynamaxed out, too.
- Lopunnies always had rather thick thighs. But even a slight motion from the upsized Pokémon seemed to make those huge hips swivel about; they were pushing the limits of curvy to an impossible degree. Part of you felt guilty thinking about it, but that was a lot of leg – you wondered what the view was like for the audience directly behind him.
- “You just gonna stare all day, or are you gonna fight?”
- You whirled back around. Your Lopunny actually giggled at your opponent’s comment – a giggle heard ‘round the entire stadium. While your opponent seemed eager to take on your kaiju-sized Lopunny, the Lucario down below was thoroughly intimidated, still gawking up at this giant creature he was allegedly supposed to take down.
- You snuck one last glance back and saw that the rabbit Pokémon was waving down at your opponent’s Lucario, vengeance no doubt in his eyes.
- Without you even having to issue an order, Lopunny stepped right over you. Your willpower must have been strong, since you didn’t sneak a glance up. When he stepped into the ring—taking up the majority of it in the process—his footfalls nearly sent you and your opponent a few inches into the air. Where Lopunny’s paws settled, there were deep imprints in the grassy turf.
- And now you had that view of a brown-furred backside you had previously wondered about.
- Yes, along with Lopunny’s hips and legs, that, too, had been disproportionately dynamaxed out.
- You were staring again. You shook your head and brought your eyes lower, towards Lopunny’s puny opponent.
- That Lucario was almost worth pitying, especially after the brutal thrashing he had delivered to Lopunny. The Pokémon clearly looked disturbed by this change of events.
- “The bigger they are, the harder they fall, Lucario! Don’t let that thing intimidate you!” Where you barely stood over Lopunny’s toes, Lucario didn’t even have that luxury. Still, orders were orders, and when his trainer said: “Close Combat!” Lucario had little choice but to obey.
- He leapt right onto Lopunny’s paw and began running up his leg – the damned thing was impossibly fast, a blur that had you momentarily doubting whether even your gigantic Pokémon could take him on. You were grateful your opponent didn’t have a dynamax band, too. He might’ve been able to punch your Lopunny right out of the ring.
- Instead, Lucario reached Lopunny’s thigh, did a backflip off of it and shot forward like a missile. His fists were a blur as he punched and kicked with vicious abandon. You winced, wondering if this would be able to knock Lopunny out.
- However, those blows were simply dimpling the rabbit Pokémon’s thigh, generating the slightest wobble from his hefty bottom half.
- When Lucario’s attack ended, he landed back on the ground.
- “Uh…” your opponent trailed off. Lopunny looked quite pleased with himself.
- “I thought snorlax was supposed to have thick fat! Looks like Lucario’s attack bounced right off of Lopunny’s legs!” the announcer exclaimed.
- Your turn.
- “Alright, Lopunny! Show ‘em who’s boss! Use pound!”
- Lucario flinched, clearly understanding what your order meant. Your opponent was even scrambling for Lucario’s pokéball, as if ready to recall it at the first sign of Lopunny’s attack.
- Lopunny, though, just stood there, brushing off his thigh where Lucario struck.
- Maybe even with those huge, floppy ears, Lopunny hadn’t heard you.
- “Lopunny! Pound!”
- The Pokémon swiveled his head, and smirked down at you. Rather than using pound, he stretched his arms until they reached the arena’s ceiling. His entire curvy backside was on full display to you for a moment. Then, it came crashing down even closer. The arena shook as Lopunny dropped down onto his side. You moved back a few feet – better than being close to a bunny butt that boasted a single sideways ass cheek that still loomed higher than you.
- Lopunny’s hand was rested on his chin. He was reclined on his side, relaxing in the arena.
- “It looks like Lopunny isn’t even obeying his trainer!” the announcer declared.
- “Lopunny!” you yelled. Lopunny’s head turned over his shoulder, and he just chuckled at you. As if to tell you just how much he respected your authority, he slapped his mammoth ass. You could feel the force from that impact as his rear visibly rippled in front of you.
- “Does this guy even have the badges to control this thing?” the announcer asked.
- The audience was laughing. Laughing! This was supposed to be intimidating! Terrifying! This Lopunny was an absolute monster! A bottom-heavy monster with his dick hanging out who casually presented his ass to his trainer, but…
- Still a monster, right?
- You frowned, running along the side of the ring so you could get a better look at the action.
- When you came into sight, your opponent laughed.
- “How many badges do you have?” he asked.
- When you hesitantly admitted to having none, he shook his head and laughed even harder. You glared at Lopunny, who was idly digging a finger through the turf, occasionally sneaking a glance at you and offering a mischievous smile.
- “Lucario – it might take a few hits, but would you knock this big guy out so we can get this joke of a match over with?”
- Lucario nodded. Though his last attack seemed to have bounced right off of Lopunny’s legs, he lunged forward yet again. His target was in sight: he leapt through the air, barreling towards those thighs a second time.
- “Lopunny!” you pleaded, but the Pokémon just yawned “Please, just… just use pound! Use anything!”
- Miraculously, something did happen, but it wasn’t Lopunny using his huge fists to crater the field and knock Lucario out. Rather, Lopunny arched one thigh up into the air just as Lucario was charging forward. Rather than Lucario’s fist impacting against that curvy barrier, he landed right on top of one spread thigh, while the other remained in the air just above him.
- Lucario stumbled, recovering just in time to gawk up at that brown-furred leg overhead.
- “Lucario!” his trainer exclaimed. “No, get out of there before–”
- The clap of thigh on thigh rang through the arena.
- “Oh!” the announcer exclaimed, as did the rest of the audience. You winced as you saw Lucario vanish between those quivering walls of brown fur. “Seemed he did use pound after all!”
- You saw movement from between his thighs, and you realized Lucario must have been pushing against Lopunny’s legs in a vain attempt at escape. You looked up at Lopunny and saw he was still smirking. You couldn’t talk with Pokémon, but his expression read: “Are you happy, now?”
- “Y-you can let him up, you know,” you stammered. You just wanted your opponent’s Lucario to get knocked out, not choke on thick Pokémon thigh.
- Lopunny didn’t liberate Lucario, however. The durable fighting-type did it all on his own. Lucari’s hands poked out first, and his panting head soon after. He wiggled free and plopped down the expanse of Lopunny’s leg onto the turf. He only managed to get up onto his knees before sprawling out on the grass once again.
- “K.O!” the announcer exclaimed. The crowd was cheering, but you felt a bit guilty, seeing the pulverized Lucario laid out like that.
- Your opponent didn’t seem to mind, though.
- “Lucario, come back,” he ordered – the defeated Pokémon returned to his ball.
- “G-good job, Lopunny,” you told the towering Pokémon. One of those huge hands of his reared up, and he reached right towards you. You stumbled back onto the grass, thoroughly intimidated by that simple gesture.
- However, Lopunny only idly patted your head with a single fingertip.
- You hoped he would obey, now.
- “Alright. Go get ‘em, Greninja!”
- Greninja? You were glad you had used your wristband. Between Lucario and this, your opponent would’ve mopped the floor with you.
- Lopunny yawned and sat up as the ninja frog emerged from its pokéball. He stretched his arms while his legs spilled out onto either side of your opponent. You lost sight of him and his Greninja for a moment, until Lopunny curled his legs inward, and they rested within the confines of the arena proper.
- “Water shuriken!” your opponent cried, wasting no time.
- Greninja was quick to obey; you were jealous. While Lopunny sat there, one hand resting underneath his chin, a bored expression on his face, he was pelted with shuriken after shuriken after shuriken. They didn’t seem to deal any damage, they just got small traces of Lopunny’s fur wet.
- The Greninja bounced from one of Lopunny’s thighs to the other, using them as trampolines so that he could constantly flip through the air with dramatic flourishes, as if the giant Pokémon was staging an attack, rather than just watching like he had been assailed by the smallest of bug-types.
- Greninja followed up with a more daring move, running up Lopunny’s chest and leaping off right in front of his face. He raised an eyebrow as Greninja delivered five successive water shurikens across Lopunny’s snout.
- You saw this as an opportunity. The titanic normal-type seemed thoroughly annoyed that his face had been soaked. “Lopunny! Use pound!” you ordered.
- But Lopunny just blew into the air, and Greninja, wide-eyed, was sent flying backwards. Greninja still managed to recover, scrambling up and charging back towards Lopunny, but the rabbit Pokémon seemed to be fed up with getting pelted with the equivalent of miniature water ballons.
- He didn’t get up from his seated position, but he did bend his legs and hoist his paws into the air. As Greninja charged forward, one of those upraised paws plummeted downward, aimed directly at the dexterous water-type.
- It was a miss, but the impact still caused the ground to quake, and one blow wasn’t enough to satisfy Lopunny.
- Greninja continued to dart about. It was just a game at that size for Lopunny. His paws continued to strike down in quick succession. Each blow against the turf tore a new paw-shaped hole into the ground. You saw the audience shooting up in their seats a few inches with each impact, but that just seemed to enhance their excitement.
- Seriously, didn’t these all count as attacks? You could have sworn the rules for dynamaxing meant this Lopunny should have returned to normal by now. But what did you know? The Lopunny technically hadn’t landed any of these blows – he was just recklessly stomping around.
- Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. You wondered how long Greninja could keep this up.
- Not too long, it would seem.
- The impact was so sudden you hadn’t even realized that it occurred until the blue blur of a frog Pokémon didn’t resurface when the kicked-up debris cleared. Instead, Lopunny sat there, a single paw buried deep into a fresh crater. His arms were folded, and he looked quite pleased with himself.
- You winced as you realized Greninja was somewhere down in that hole, buried beneath bunny Pokémon paw.
- This Lopunny was starting to scare you. He pushed that ponderous paw down a little harder. A little more aggressively. If Lopunny scared you, though, you wondered how your opponent felt. He looked absolutely petrified. You were just glad Lopunny was on your side.
- Or his own side, you supposed.
- “Y-you aren’t even controlling this thing!” your opponent accused. “This may as well be a wild Lopunny!”
- “Lopunny, let that Greninja go!”
- Lopunny sighed, an intimidating sound in its own right. You were grateful he obeyed this time, pulling his paw up out of the dirt to reveal a twitching, dazed Greninja stuck right to his foot. He didn’t bother peeling it off, rather, he presented the unconscious Pokémon to your opponent.
- “That’s just brutal!” the announcer declared.
- “Greninja, come back!” your opponent said, recalling his second Pokémon.
- Okay, that made for two successful attacks from Lopunny. Even if this had been a strange battle, you were starting to get your hopes up – maybe that three-zero win was actually going to happen…
- Even if you didn’t really feel like you earned it.
- “Down to his last Pokémon,” the announcer commented. “Let’s see if this mega-sized sweep of a battle has a turnaround.”
- Lopunny seemed to lose interest in your opponent, though, as he flopped onto his stomach and turned to face you. His hand rested on his chin while his legs kicked up behind him. He seemed thoroughly amused by your panicked reaction to his huge head dipping down to be level with you. You fell back onto the ground as his chest-sized nose snuffled up against your body.
- Those pink eyes stared right at you, reflecting your nervous appearance.
- “G-good Lopunny,” you said, patting his snout. He snorted, rearing back and poking your chest with a single finger. With that, Lopunny at last stood up and stretched before the audience. He seemed rather sure of himself, shimmying those huge hips in a showboat display.
- “Alright. Let’s… let’s see if we can last out this dynamax mode,” your opponent said. His confidence had evaporated. “Go on, Honchkrow!”
- The black-feathered bird emerged, flapping about in the air. Honchkrow’s eyes nearly bulged out of her head seeing what she was up against.
- Lopunny just waved down at the little Pokémon, raised a paw, and shot it downwards.
- He wasn’t playing around.
- “Th-that’s it, Lopunny!” you shouted up. “Knock it out of the air.”
- But Honchkrow wasn’t limited to the ground. The flying Pokémon had shot past Lopunny’s descending paw and started ascending higher. It became apparent that your opponent wasn’t going to issue any orders – he seemed happy to just let his Pokémon dodge, encircling Lopunny’s hips as he slapped at his ass and thighs in some vain attempt at knocking the opponent’s Pokémon out of the air.
- “This battle might actually go past the timer!” the announcer exclaimed.
- There was a timer? Your gaze shot to the video screens up above – with occasional close-ups of Honchkrow evading Lopunny’s slaps, sure enough, there was a number ticking down.
- You were running out of options – a tie when you had such a literally huge advantage would be embarrassing.
- You racked your brain. What moves did your brother say this Lopunny knew? Pound – he was already trying. Attract? No, that might get weird. Endure? No. That wasn’t it. There was another attack, though, you were sure of it.
- “Lopunny!” you called. He actually deigned to look down at you. “Lopunny, use…” He shrugged, not sure what you wanted from him.
- Then, the lights went on. That was it. You were sure of it. Before you even thought about what you were saying, you yelled: “Lopunny, use bounce!”
- Lopunny completely stopped trying to swat Honchkrow out of the air. Instead, he tilted his head and looked down at you, eyebrow arched in a, “you’re joking, right?” sort of look.
- “Come on, Lopunny! This is it. We finish this and we win. Please, just give me a bounce!”
- “Bounce?” the announcer asked. “Is this guy crazy?”
- “Wait…” What did bounce do, again?
- Your heart sank as Lopunny’s subtle, mischievous smile broke into a full-blown grin. At last, he was going to obey orders. He was going to give you a bounce.
- His powerful legs arched. You watched those thighs bend like a behemoth bowstring before Lopunny launched himself upward. It was very fortunate the ceiling at the center of the arena ran so high up, because rabbit Pokémon could leap very, very high. You hadn’t really thought what Lopunny using bounce might actually entail, but as his jump reached its apex and his legs shot out, arms hugging underneath his thighs, your heart sank.
- He was going to dive bomb the arena with his ass.
- You could have run. You probably should have, in retrospect. Your opponent certainly did. Some people in the audience did, too. But you were so caught up watching that enormous Pokémon ascend into the air – literal tons of Lopunny preparing to drop down on that Honchkrow.
- Except the flying Pokémon, nothing more than a black blot flitting about in Lopunny’s shadow, sailed right between the giant Pokémon’s thighs. The attack had missed.
- “Wait, what?”
- Then, it dawned on you. Lopunny’s head was peeking out between his legs as he fell, grinning down at you. Though this all happened in a matter of seconds, for you, it felt far longer. The fall of his disobedient ass down towards you was like watching the sky fall.
- He wasn’t using bounce on Honchkrow.
- He was using bounce on you.
- You were almost absolutely sure this meant that you were going to die.
- Lopunny’s apocalyptic ass crashed down right on top of you.
- A deafening boom ensued, followed by two deep craters dug out in seconds by the impact of Lopunny’s backside. The area around Lopunny cracked and distorted. The arena itself would shake for the next minute, the audience crying out.
- But, more importantly than all of that, you weren’t dead.
- Wait, you weren’t dead?
- No. Perhaps more miraculous than your survival was just how unbelievably soft Lopunny’s rump really was. You were wedged into the downy chasm of two fuzzy ass cheeks. Your heart hammered – in fact, you were pretty sure it was getting ready to explode. Still, you squirmed about. Surely, Lopunny would get up in the next few seconds.
- Unless, of course, Lopunny had meant to keep you trapped down there.
- Your hands pushed against oppressive Pokémon ass. It was really like being wedged in on all sides by pillows. Pillows that radiated heat and were bigger than minivans, but pillows nonetheless. Your squirming provoked a shift of his hips, but that only lodged you deeper into your marshmallow hell.
- Where your hands pushed, they were met with no resistance, only firm fat that they sank into. You were going to suffocate down here, thoroughly smothered by the world’s biggest bunny Pokémon butt.
- Just as you were resigned to your fate, something changed. Those however-many-tons of plush Lopunny ass that had ensnared you were decreasing by the second. Slowly but surely, he was shrinking. You went from being smothered between his crack to laid out underneath his ass. Then, he downsized from huge enough that only your head poked out from his rear to your upper body being free.
- You could almost breathe – scratch that, you could actually breathe!
- That was when it dawned on you:
- Bounce had been Lopunny’s third move.
- He was back to his normal size, sitting on your chest and looking away from you like nothing had even happened, contentedly waving up at the audience.
- Everyone in the crowd had gone silent. You thought they had just been worried about you, but then, as your eyes traveled towards one of the screens, displaying your sprawled out form in one of two round craters that were side-by-side, you knew what they were looking at, and it made you turn beet red.
- No matter how harrowing an experience being sat on by a giant, bottom-heavy Lopunny had been.
- It was also kinda hot.
- You shot up to your feet, causing the finally normal-sized Lopunny to tumble off. He frowned at you, arms folded.
- “Lopunny, come back,” you murmured. The Pokémon was sucked right back into his pokéball.
- “The…” The announcer cleared his throat. “The challenger has recalled his only Pokémon and seems unable to continue the battle…”
- There was an awkward silence after that as you climbed out of that ass-shaped crater in the middle of the arena. Your hand covered your crotch – even though everyone had seen just how thoroughly you enjoyed Lopunny’s bounce attack on the big screen.
- Still red-faced and absolutely mortified, you fled from your first official battle, disobedient Pokémon in tow.
- *
- When you told this story to your brother, he laughed his head off.
- “Seems he likes you,” your brother commented. Lopunny was out of his ball, reclined elsewhere in the room, a lazy smile on his face while he watched the two of you talk about him. “Probably gonna need a few more badges before you can get him to listen, though. That little… sorry, big guy’s been through a lot of battles.”
- Of course, it had all been a prank on your brother’s part. He knew you wouldn’t have the badges to keep Lopunny under control. However, he had no idea that you had a dynamax band – he admitted he would have warned you not to give that rambunctious Lopunny an ounce more power than he already had.
- You nervously laughed along and agreed. Then, your brother made a suggestion that sealed your fate: “Say, why don’t you take Lopunny with you?”
- Lopunny seemed to perk right up that suggestion. He sauntered over to the two of you, and you nervously eyed him. Even after he had shrunken back down, he radiated the confidence of a giant – a giant who had smothered you underneath his ass in front of an entire audience.
- Without any invitation, he hopped right up onto your lap. You froze as the short Pokémon’s head pressed up against your chest. He was showing your brother just how eager he was to join you.
- You finally got up. Lopunny didn’t quite like falling from your lap, his arms folded and one cheek puffed out, but as you tried to tell your brother that you really couldn’t accept, you found that he wasn’t willing to take no for an answer.
- Your brother side-eyed his former Pokémon before leaning forward and muttering in your ear: “Seriously, take him. That dude scares me.”
- You both looked at the Pokémon. As if those sensitive rabbit ears had picked up on your brother’s words, Lopunny licked his lips. Before you could protest, there was a pokéball in your hand, and Lopunny’s arms were wrapped around your waist.
- “Well, I’d love to stay and chat,” your brother said, letting out the fakest yawn possible. “But I’ve got to go.”
- “I… uh, really can’t accept this,” you said.
- “Huh?” your brother asked, a grin on his face. “What’re you talking about?”
- You tried to tell him you were serious, nearly shoving the ball back into his face, but he quickly backed off. It was hard to follow him, particularly with Lopunny’s arms still wrapped around your waist, legs kicked up so you had to support the entirety of his weight.
- Soon, your brother was running down the street. No matter how many times you called his name, he never stopped running.
- There was a light giggle from down below. You frowned down at your new Pokémon, who returned your glare with his own half-lidded, pink eyes and a toothy grin.
- You sighed. “Come on,” you said, patting Lopunny on his head as you both walked back inside of your house.
- Thus began your quest to get enough badges to properly order around an over-leveled Lopunny with what seemed to be an uncomfortable—and formerly literal—crush on you.
- And, hey… You eyed your new Pokémon, sprawled out on the couch. Were Lopunnies always this tall, normally?
