  1. Vancroe wasn't born with precognitive abilities, and yet he still managed to accurately predict the future when it came to future threats to his kingdom
  2. The secret was he bathed regularly in water from the 'Chamber of Memories'
  3.
  4.
  5. Originally, the Chamber of Memories was built as a spiritual training ground, it was it's own dimensional space in which people could enter and meditate in
  6.
  7. The test was to resist the trickery of the Chamber that would show the person in it visions seemingly of their own past-- and if one wasn't careful, they could find themselves slowly robbed of their life force energy
  8.
  9. The truth however is that the chamber didn't show the person their memories, but rather the Tree of Knowledge (also known as the All-Seeing Tree, among other names)'s perception relating to memories of mortals
  10.
  11. The wisdom the tree holds transcends time, and so, as some have come to realize through history, it is plausible for it to show 'memories' of the future; visions in a future where the subject is still present
  12.
  13. The Chamber of Memories was built using one of the dead roots of the All-Seeing Tree
  14.
  15. With the Chamber having it's own dimensional space separate from the Living Realm, the energy of the root has nowhere to go and reverberates within it, inciting other life energy sources to join it...
  16.
  17. The echoes of this phenomenon are the visions--- those brilliant flashes easily mistaken for 'memories'
  18.
  19.
  20. It just so happens that the water Vancroe bathed in regularly was sourced from that dimension
  21.
  22. And, as powerful as he was, with his vast amounts of life energy, he could afford to let his guard down and immerse himself in the visions
  23.
  24. In fact, once he figured it out, the young king would willingly meditate in that bath, searching for critical 'memories' of his future-- and more importantly, of the future he had with his kingdom
  25.
  26. It was just another tool in his armory that made him the 'Ideal King' of his time
