- A fiery Scottish girl <strong>Marlene McKinnon</strong> was born into a Pure-Blood family though their status has somewhat diminished overtime due to the above average number of squibs in her family though this may have something to do with her family being a large one. As such the McKinnon family are largely looked down upon on by most of the pure-blooded families of the wizarding community including the Malfoys and the Blacks who deem the McKinnons as more ‘low rent’ than themselves. Years of bullying and judgment have taken its tole on Marlene, causing her to become a defensive and fiery character who is unafraid of crossing boundaries to get her point across though it means she has seen a fair share of fights in both childhood and as an adult. The topic of blood status as a result is something that greatly irritates Marlene, causing her already fiery temperament to increase and flare up ten fold whenever the subject arises. Despite being a pure-blood Marlene deems blood supremacy ridiculous and is often on hand to stand up for anyone who bullies anyone due to their blood status. Marlene is often described by those who know her best as “Marlene McKinnon Army of One” due to her inability to let things alone as well as her sheer intensity and ruthlessness when targeting those who have wronged herself and her friends. Lily Evans is just one of Marlene’s many muggle-born friends who she is extremely protective of, rallying up the Marauders to make Snape, Mulicber and Avery’s lives hell despite her best friend’s many requests to let him alone.</div>

- <strong>Marlene is renown for guarding her emotions</strong>, masking them with <em>sarcasm and attitude</em> making her a difficult nut to crack. Though she has had many boys try to win her affections Marlene enjoys the chase and is incredibly picky with whom she gives any affection to, still she seems to have undeniable chemistry with Hogwarts’s “bad boys" which although is a weakness of hers Marlene is clever enough to use it as intel to learn Quidditch strategies as well as what Bellatix Black and her band of brainless followers are up to. <strong>Marlene is a Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and is fiercely competitive</strong> to the point where she can match and sometimes best her best friends James and Sirius. Though she was deeply annoyed when she did not make captain Marlene vowed to become better and faster because of it. <em>It is said that she plays the best when she was in the most overwhelmingly angry moods</em> which although is an advantage for the Gryffindor’s also means having to brave her tidal wave of emotions during half time and also in the event of them loosing.</div>

- In addition to the Quidditch, Marlene is a member of the Duelling Club. Born and raised in Scotland, Marlene has an undeniably Scottish lilt to her voice that only gets stronger the angrier that she gets though both James and Sirius seem to bring it out in her the most due to their endless capacity to irritate her. Marlene has a close and caring family whom she often drags the Gryffindor girls to meet during the holidays. <strong>Marlene doesn't need any help defending and looking after herself.</strong> In addition to her athletic prowess, Marlene has a deep love for Defence Against The Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures. She has been considering becoming an a registered Animagus in the future but believes that with the potential of a coming war looming in the distance she may not have the time to learn and so has focused upon bettering her duelling skills rather than her transfiguration ones.<strong> Marlene largely is known for her stubborn nature, dark humour and love for those closest to her, her deadly wit and seductive smile are all a part of the beautiful character that few truly ever get to understand</strong>.</div>
