- [18:59] Having arrived at the cave, the demonic bird was.. hidden, attached to the ceiling while invisible. Until Varrach arrived and the entity revealed itself, jumping to the ground and exposing itself to the former Legatus.
- As needed.
- His countless eyes scanned the figure, to see its state before he spoke, "Varrach, we have to talk.. I have, a plan of action that we can undertake.
- Are you ready for it?" The creature informed and asked, before then gesturing for its kin to approach.
- While he began making scratches on the floor with his claws - images, drawings of things he.. Was planning, but would soon give more details. For now, was just.. A bunch of strange things.
- As expected.
- "The time to act will eventually come, we must organize the horde - the fall of Abendrot has destabilized it, however.. That will come in another moment.
- There's one thing I want to do, create a new thing - a new project that may be used todeal with a entire city." But now silence, as he waited for his kin's reaction.
- Since well.. He came out of nowhere and was already talking about projects.
- (Sak'noth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:03] A visitor.
- Somewhat expected after K'thul reached out to them as well, and already Varrach looks upon the former Fel Khan as he descended- it was rather obvious that they would need to talk, and with all of this going on, it's better that they do it sooner than later.
- Though...
- "Yes, Sak'noth. I do believe we need to talk." A pause.
- "Is it the same idea that K'thul suggested? Creating a hideout somewhere for us all, and possibly a project underwater - with riftpoints that you and him would do?"
- If that were the case, then Varrach is at least already informed about it, at least to a degree.
- "Or perhaps you had something else to cover?"
- After all, it's possible that Sak'noth had different schemes altogether.
- (Varrach)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:11] "The idea for the hideout was mine, suggested to him after he contacted me in the dreams - but no, that's not what we're going to talk about.
- It is something else." First making this clear, he would then gesture to what he scribbled.
- Which now took shape! From what it looked like.. A huge crystal, some type of bomb, with things written on the sides - fire, volcano.. Explosion, natural cataclysm - imminent destruction of.. Vdalion, the city of giants!
- It was what one could understand out of it.
- "Yes.. I want to create something, a cataclysmic gem.. Which can be thrown inside the volcano, into the lava.. To make it active and more potent, to then use this natural phenomenon..
- To completely destroy the city of Vdalion or at least cause great devastation.
- We're going to need things and most importantly, a fire demon." And so, he gestured towards Varrach, "Having no better choice than the one who wields the most strength, control over it, here.
- You.
- Isn't it right?" A nod from him followed, as there was no doubt.
- There were several elementals, but not as powerful as Varrach.
- "We'll make something... potent, something concentrated and dangerous, that could explode if not used properly - something that we can after a incursion upon their territory, use on the volcano as said.
- It will be difficult, but rewarding.
- What do you think? We would deal with a major threat, in a way.. Unique and using the geological formations present in these lands." As expected of the avian, he was always thinking about all possibilities.
- And trying to find the best way to deal with certain adversities.
- (Sak'noth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:20] Varrach merely nodded to the fact that it was Sak'noth's suggestion.
- Truth be told, it didn't matter to the Great Wolf too much whose idea it was exactly- after all, as far as they're concerned, this would mean that they're going to at least cooperate and forge various plans together. Instead...
- Varrach seems more intrigued with another plan,
- one that involves explosion of the volcano.
- "Hrm.."
- For a moment, the Great Wolf falls silent while Sak'noth continues explaining; this is something that would be working well enough, especially considering that it would seem that he's already got the necessary item for it as well.
- Something that would line up just nicely.
- "It is a good plan."
- "I could attempt to infuse it with my own dark prowess too, to see how it would fare. My aim is to cause calamities and see just how much I could reach out to grasp the Death magic itself better."
- And this would mean that Varrach has something else in this - common motivation, something that would interest them even more, considering that it's not just doing it for Sak'noth, but doing it for their own interests as well.
- All the more reason to go.
- "You had my attention first, Sak'noth, but now you have my interest."
- "I will help you in this."
- A pause, and soon, the Great Wolf.
- "-- also, my greater ascension is imminent. I will be able to output even greater power."
- "It should lead to something truly devastating."
- (Varrach)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:30] Much the bird planned, much he worked. The plans always, usually, came from his head that was always active and now it was not different, even with defeat - with his lands destroyed, he planned.
- He plotted.
- He.. continued forward, for nothing would stop him.
- "I knew that would be in your interests, besides." A pause, the kaor analyzed the figure of his kin - this one certainly emanated more ether than normal.
- Something was changing.
- Something was coming, just as proclaimed.
- "Excellent, this is happening at a time of need where we require more and more strength, certainly at some point in the future I will also achieve this.
- This stage, process.
- But for now, I continue to work as usual, hunt and make sure we keep moving forward - without stopping." With that a nod followed, before he then looked around.
- A pause, followed by words.
- "We will start soon, I will organize everything.. Those who we can trust to assist, Xarxes must help, he will. We will do something great, to deal with these parasites..
- Once and for all.
- Leaving nothing behind." With that said, he concluded his speech at last - moreover, it was remarkable.. that he left traces of his mana in that place.
- Certainly.. To come back if necessary, riftmancy as one could guess.
- (Sak'noth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:38] This would be grand for them both.
- For Varrach to put to a test all that they've learned, and perhaps expand their ability even further - and for Sak'noth to push themselves closer to the ascension that would mark them as one of the Imperfects on Meranthe.
- Together, they could be unstoppable.
- "Good."
- "I shall look forward to how you perform. I do not doubt that you will be ascending soon- there are only so many of us that are worthy of it." Besides, who else would it be?
- Balrith, who's going to face extermination soon? Laplace, who has fallen to slumber? Numerous other demons, who have no renown to their name, no claim to this ascension?
- No. The next one up is clearly Sak'noth.
- "Do call on me when it starts. I will be helping you out. And, ah-" A pause.
- "I could possibly use your help in the forging of relics. Soon enough, I will require various relicsfor myself." Especially considering that soon enough Varrach could find use to them.
- "We will leave nothing but scorched ground behind for those mortals."
- Another pause. After seeing a mark, the Great Wolf added.
- "-- and if you intend to visit, then knock first next time."
- A tad of humor. How amusing.
- (Varrach)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:44] "Relics can be made, I've created one in the past.. A ring that is in my Cambion's possession, I know where it is at all times, as it is interconnected to me - in addition to corrupting the individual's mind.
- I can pass on my knowledge, which shall aid you in this project." His hands gestured, before he used his claws to rip the fabric of reality...
- Opening a rift to the former Khan's nest.
- "And maybe I can send a letter first to avoid confusion, maybe.
- It is.. Strangely more adequate without doing so, it leads to more interesting reactions." The creature would slam its beak, before starting to enter the rift in reality - "Regardless, now I leave and then, I start to act.. Soon we will work.
- Soon, Meranthe shall tremble.
- Recover and ascend kin, I'll be here by your side the moment that happens." And so he would disappear into the portal, with those last words.
- Leaving Varrach to rest.
- (Sak'noth)
