  12. Background:
  13. Anahi grew up in a bad place. A place where the monsters came. And when the monsters came, they wanted blood.
  14. The monsters spoke kind words, of obligation and mutual benefit, but Anahi knew better.
  15. Because Anahi saw the people the monsters had killed.
  16. And one day, it was Anahi's family's time to pay 'tribute'. Anahi was fourteen.
  17. She decided, that moment, she didn't want to. And so she grabbed a knife, the only weapon she had and slashed the monster across the belly, spilling its blood.
  18. That night Anahi might have died.
  19. If not for a bunch of ragtag, semi magical mercenaries, hired not-quite-by the White Council to strike at their enemies.
  20. So when Anahi decided to slash a knife over the belly of a Baron of the Red Courts youngest offspring, the Baron itself got a himself killed defending his 'food'.
  21. And once the night was over, when all the monsters were dead and the village was in ruins, Anahi went with them, choosing to be with those who kill monsters, than those who fear them.

  45. -1 Long-Range Combat: You're most comfortable when your enemies are a ways away. Add one to your Guns skill when using it to attack from at least two zones away.
  46. -1 Supersonic Ammo: If you are at least two zone's away, your first shot cannot be countered by any forms of Anti-Suprise Stunts and Powers. It can be tanked, but not avoided.
