You will need one of the supported media players:

    MPC-HC >= 1.6.4. Available from: http://mpc-hc.org/
    MPC-BE >= 1.5.2.3123. Available from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpcbe/
    VLC >= 2.2.1. Available from: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
    mpv >= 0.6.2. Available from: http://mpv.io/

Using Syncplay -

Launch the program
Set the server address to: syncplay.pl:8997
Set your username
Default Room: dnmbroly
Path to Media Player: - Browse to the .exe for VLC, Media Player Classic or MPV media players, your choice.(I use VLC 3.0.6)

Press Run Syncplay
    It should launch your media player and you should see anybody else in the chat-room dnmbroly.
Top left > File >
    Open Media File - Use this if you've downloaded the video and will be watching from the local version
    Open Media Stream URL - Use this if you want to watch via the streaming link, may be less reliable if you're prone to lag.
Bottom of the chat window check "I'm ready to watch".

Once everyone is ready, anyone in the room can use the Playback controls in the top left to play\pause the video.

If you disconnect for any reason you just re-join the room, reload your media in the same way and give it a second. It'll skip to the timestamp that the room is currently on.
