This attack doesn't take either, as the Goddess leaps above the attempted strike, and you get back to you feet before rushing back at the Goddess, bringing your sword down in an overhead slash, which she blocks with some difficulty before you rapidly bring your sword back up and attempt another slash at the woman. You stay on the offensive for some time, your level of skill enough to at least remove the opportunity from actually managing to make any attacks, remaining purely on the defense... though that alone won't be enough to win this battle.
