Monster Hunter, but you now hunt kaiju using melee-oriented Gundams. What are you picking, and are you going solo or running with a team?

[The ranged Gundams](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gundam/comments/16audpr/lets_see_what_tactics_and_strategies_you_will/) already had their fun [going after cyborg kaiju.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gundam/comments/12y1ylo/so_high_command_gave_you_eight_gundams_and_a/) Now it's for the melee/close-combat units to shine.

We're subjecting them to a supersized Monster Hunter against Toho and Daiei kaiju (cuz I found PNG renders of the Gamera Rebirth ones) and I brought as much heat as I can dare. Only top-of-the-line hardware is here, and you get to choose at most TWO units (one main and one backup). Once you've chosen your rigs, choose the kaiju you're most confident you can kill with what you picked for yourself. Then either set off alone or bring in up to four more teammates.
