<DrabberRogue> Another day, another physics class, though this time Jace sits in the very back corner of the room. His cheeks tinged with a bit of pink, he stares down at what he'd just written in his dia-...notebook, his update on Wendy.

<DrabberRogue> Incidentally, Jace's physics class is rather loud and obnoxious, and on this particular day the teacher has had enough. The teacher sternly interrupts their own lecture and admonishes the class for a good fifteen minutes before declaring that she's had enough and will create a seating arrangement. Quite a bit of groaning is heard as the teacher calls out various seating assignments, leaving Jace where he is and sending the better
<DrabberRogue> behaved/liked students to join him in the back while moving the rowdier students to the front where she can keep an eye on them. Conveniently, this places Akemi right next to Jace, and he believes his notebook to be too well hidden to warrant having to close it.
<Kioku> Akemi sighs as she moves, but isn't nearly so annoyed at the possibility of having to sit in the same place, by the same people every day in this class as she would have been a week ago.  At least this puts her in an unexpectedly good position to intercept Jace when class is over.  They do need to have a talk about her Wendy, after all!
<DrabberRogue> Jace seems to be a little lost in thought as he stares down at his diar-...notebook and the entry of her Wendy that he'd written in it. As such, he doesn't seem to notice that Akemi is sitting next to him, leaving his thoughts and emotions blatantly on a page for her to see~
<Kioku> Akemi isn't an invasive or rude sort of person, but when she catches something that looks like Wendy's name from the corner of her eye, she can't help but glance toward the notebook and skim over what's on the page.  She smiles and her eyebrows raise, a giggle barely suppressed as she reads over it a second time, then takes a pen and copies what she reads on a piece of paper of her own... or at least, a Japanese translation of it. <DrabberRogue> Jace doesn't notice her, too caught up in his own thoughts, but he starts twirling his pen in his hand...seems he's getting bored, it won't be too long before he looks for something else to do...
<Kioku> Akemi hums to herself a bit as she finishes up the transcription.  Well.  The abridged version of the transcription, really, but she knows what it all means.  She's making sure to be as attentive to the teacher as ever, even though they'd already gone over this material at her previous school.  Rather, she's showing attentiveness... but not actually giving it.  In reality, she's glancing at Jace every few moments so that she'll be sure
<Kioku> to be staring right at him when he finally looks up, giving the impression that she has been the whole time even though it'd only be recent.
<DrabberRogue> Jace tactically aware of someone trying to get his attention, he smells a large concentration of tact...right next to him? He breaks his train of thought, he was bored of it anyway, and steals a glance at the rather beautiful girl next to him. Realizing with a bit of surprised panic that it's Akemi, he subtly closes his di-...notebook, hoping she hadn't gotten a look at it's contents.
<Kioku> Akemi holds the stare a few more moments, then winks just as he gets the 'notebook' closed, shooting him a grin before turning to face the front again.
<DrabberRogue> Jace blushes a bit at the wink, she happens to be /very/ attractive, but he only blushes a bit. ~Damn...she must have got a look...~ He turns his own gaze to the front of the class, though not really paying attention, he'd finished the next three units or so a couple weeks ago...he's way too try hard...
<Kioku> Akemi looks over her transcription, makes a few minor adjustements, and takes notes on another page whenever the teacher touches on something she didn't already know.  Seems she takes her studies seriously for someone who seems to just care about socializing on the surface.  It doesn't look like she's about to bring up anything or talk during class...
<DrabberRogue> Jace's eyes gradually wander back to Akemi, not because she's gorgeous, but because he's curious about her...though he does stare at her face for a couple seconds... He watches her work on her notes and transcript with a faint smile on his lips, assuming she's just working on something as she takes notes. ~Good to know Wendy's got such a studious girlfriend...~
<Kioku> The fifteen minutes of ranting took a pretty big chunk out of the class time, so it feels shorter than it really is - a while of attentive note taking later, Akemi seems to totally change in demeanor, packing everything up and finishing doing so three seconds before the clock ticks to the next minute; the one signifying the end of that class period.  Immediately, she turns to Jace, ready to catch him if he tries to escape without

<DrabberRogue> Jace is already packed and ready to go before she even turns to him, but he stops as he sees her looking at him, raising his eyebrow expectantly. ~Oh? Seems she wants to talk...~
<Kioku> Akemi springs up from her seat and lays a hand on Jace's arm, smiling.  "We haven't spoken much, have we?  It seems we can never manage to occupy the same room socially for more than a couple of minutes.  I'd like to make an effort to change that."
<DrabberRogue> "Indeed we haven't." He smiles back at her, a little uneasy with how close she is...but whatever. "Though you've got quite a few other people to occupy a room with, I hardly make a dent." He feels drawn to this girl...it makes him uncomfortable...
<Kioku> "Every person is worth knowing.  And I'm sure you make more than a dent!  We'll never know until we take some time to find out though, right?"
<DrabberRogue> Jace tilts his head at her enthusiasm, he's starting to figure out why she's so popular. "Well, to start, is there anything you wanted to talk about?" He asks, she's never stopped him for conversation before.
<Kioku> Akemi giggles and shakes her head.  "Let's just let the conversation flow, see where it takes us.  We can go for a walk too!"  Well, it certainly wouldn't be the first time she took a walk with someone or several people after class to just talk and get to know them.
<DrabberRogue> Jace smiles at her giggling, he has the feeling she wants to lead the conversation towards Wendy after a while, but she seems nice enough...might as well get to know her. "Alright, I don't have any more classes today if you'd like to get something to eat."
<Kioku> "Sure!  Where'd you like to go?"  Akemi... pulls out her bento.  Well, if you didn't know before, that explains why she's never in the cafeteria.  She makes her own lunch every morning.  "Actually, I have two of these if you're not picky about what you eat and want to get away from the school food."  \Wendy has barely been eating from hers, so I packed her something lighter... and hopefully, I can get her to eat more tonight because of

<DrabberRogue> Jace smiles at how prepared she is. "Well, I had a pizza place in mind...but since you brought your own food, I guess the courtyard?"
<Kioku> Akemi nods swiftly and leads the way, flowing through the crowd like water, or perhaps a breeze, and leaving a short-lived wake behind her for Jace to follow in.
<DrabberRogue> Jace follows closely behind her, he can't help noticing how graceful she is as she moves through the crowd, but he ignores it for the most part. He idly notes how like Wendy she is in taking the lead.

<Kioku> Most people wouldn't expect Akemi to seek out a /secluded/ spot rather than somewhere fairly public, but she's full of surprises today.  She leads Jace to a bench that's rather out of the way, and half-blocked from view of the rest of the courtyard by a tree.  She speaks while they walk though, starting once they've cleared the school building's crowd.  "So, what do you like to do in your free time?"  Well, it's as good of a starting

<DrabberRogue> "Gaming, chess, reading, that kind of stuff." He remarks in a nonchalant voice. "How about you?" He sits down on the bench, smiling up at her as he speaks.
<Kioku> "Sewing, exploring.  I like to run, go places by my own power.  And of course, talking to people.  And cuddling, that's the best thing of all."  Akemi passes one of the boxes and a pair of chopsticks over to Jace, then pulls out a bottle of water to offer him as well.
<DrabberRogue> Jace accepts the things she gives him with a smile, arching an eyebrow at the chopsticks. "Do you...have a fork or something? I...don't know how to use chopsticks..." He says awkwardly as he fumbles with the chopsticks, having opened the box and proceeding to fail at eating it's contents.
<Kioku> Akemi giggles.  "Sorry.  I don't, but..."  She digs around in one of the outer pockets of her satchel for a few seconds before producing a plastic spork, still wrapped.  "I have this, from a resturant.  Will it do?"

<DrabberRogue> "That's fine, thanks." He says, his smile growing, her laugh is even cuter than Wendy's...He takes the spork and sets about consuming the contents of the box.
<Kioku> Akemi watches for a bite or two before starting on her own.  "So tell me," she asks between bites, "what do you like to read?"
<DrabberRogue> Jace finishes chewing his bite, swallowing it before responding. "Mostly strategy books on various topics." Another bite.
<Kioku> "I can guess what that means for gaming, then.  You enjoy strategy then, no matter how it can be applied?  This place must be like a sort of playground for you!"
<DrabberRogue> Jace smiles, someone who understands him. "Indeed, I love it here. No one was ever able to come close to challenging me in the outside world, but now there's so many people who can actually compete with me."
<Kioku> "And you get to think about how all these different abilities could be used, what tactics they might fit into."  Akemi can't help but get excited about this and giggle again.  "There's so much potential, right?  So many new things to plan around, too!"
<DrabberRogue> Jace laughs. "Yeah, I love to just sit and think about it sometimes...all the different kinds of scenarios I could find myself in..." He actually does like to spend large amounts of time just sitting and thinking about strategies, but mentioning his thought processes brings to mind the fact that only one thing...or rather person, has been on his mind the last few days.
<Kioku> Akemi alternates between eating when Jace speaks, and responding at an easy pace, not too rushed, but not so slow to make the flow of the conversation die out.  "Tell me one, maybe?  Of the scenarios?  I've actually thought a little bit about a few too, but probably not as much, or in as much depth."  \Got to be good at planning to kill Fonyx without a hint of suspicion.  Still hoping he'll bring about his own downfall soon enough

<DrabberRogue> Jace shrugs. "These kinds of things are usually pretty elaborate when I come up with them, it'd take a while to explain one." He takes another bite of his food.
<Kioku> "I've got time!"  Akemi glances at Jace with a grin.  "But of course, if you'd like to talk about other things..."

<Kioku> "Well, we're eating, so... how about food?  Have a favorite?"
<DrabberRogue> Jace shrugs again. "I've sorta developed a thing for pizza recently, there happens to be this really good place in town, but other than that I like most everything...how about you?"
<Kioku> "Sushi," comes Akemi's swift reply.  "The type changes with the day, but there's a good reason I learned to make it and have practiced a couple times a week for the last several years.  I go a little overboard though, always end up making enough for three, sometimes four people even when there's only two eating it."  \Practically one lately.  Oh, Wendy, how am I to get you to eat more...\
<DrabberRogue> Two people...Jace really does have a one track mind sometimes... "Well, if your cooking is anything like Wendy's, I can imagine that sushi tastes amazing."
<Kioku> Akemi hums.  "You could join us some time, find out for yourself.  Almost anyone in the dorm is welcome if they show up in time."
<DrabberRogue> Jace smiles and nods. But he doesn't really plan on taking up her offer, he doesn't want to be in the same room with both Akemi and Wendy. "Maybe I'll do that sometime..." He lies with a smile and an unreadable expression.
<Kioku> "I hope so!"  Akemi nibbles another bite.  "Speaking of Wendy, you kissed her."  Her tone betrays nothing, still seeming as casual and sweet as before.
<DrabberRogue> Jace blushes at the sudden point jump, he'd been expecting a more subtle approach. "Mhmm..." He confirms what he did, waiting for her to imply a point. His own tone doesn't change either, and his facial expression isn't much different save for the tinge of pink.

<Kioku> One moment, Akemi is sitting casually, munching on her food; the next, her face is mere centimeters away from Jace's, staring, looking over him carefully.  "Why is that?  How did you mean it?  What were your intentions?"  Her tone comes off as merely curious, not threatening at all.  It even still carries the strong but subtle undertones of flirtation that it always does... and something about that is innately terrifying in this instance.
<DrabberRogue> Jace inches away from her, no matter how alluring she is, there's something wrong with this girl. "Perhaps you should slow down, it's very difficult to answer questions when they all sound like a run-on sentence..." He decides to counter aggressive curiosity with subtle sass, the girl's making him feel uncomfortable again.
<Kioku> Akemi tilts her head and hums.  "Should I repeat them, then?  Or should I move directly to the main question?"
<DrabberRogue> "You could say them a bit slower and give me time to answer..." He blushes a little as he basically commits to explaining his feelings to her, but he figures it's better to clear the air in this situation.
<Kioku> Akemi smiles and giggles, unable to resist bringing a hand up to run a finger along the blush before she leans away again, but scoots closer to him.  "I suppose the most might be answered by, 'why did you kiss her?'"
<DrabberRogue> He blushes a bit more as her finger runs along his face, she /is/ quite beautiful after all. "Well, you saw my notebook didn't you?" He pretty much assumes it at this point, he'd be surprised if she hadn't.
<Kioku> "I did, but that doesn't truly explain why, does it?  It might tell why you wanted to, but not what it meant to you, the intent behind it, why you actually went through with it."
<DrabberRogue> Jace pauses a bit before responding. "There's three words on that page that answer all of those questions pretty easily." He says quietly.
<Kioku> Akemi hums again, lips parting briefly during it to draw a quick breath across her tongue, sampling the emotions Jace is feeling and toward whom, testing how strong and how genuine they are.  Her eyes still watch, dancing over his features in consideration.  "The other main question then, is are you worthy of her affections?  If so, I have no problem with this continuing."
<DrabberRogue> Jace raises an eyebrow. "One's concept of self will always be different from how others view them...and what do you mean you have no problem?" Any measure of Jace's emotions will show that he has a very deep affection for Wendy, to the point of going out of his way to help her. She's very valuable to him.
<Kioku> Akemi's eyebrow raises in turn.  "What part of my non-issue is complex?  You love her, or at least feel strongly for her.  If she feels strongly for you as well, and you're a decent person, why should I get in the way of her choices?  I know she'll still love me.  It's not as though humans are only able to love one person at a time; it's not as though you'd be 'taking her away' from me."
<DrabberRogue> Jace's face dawns on a realization. "Ah...so that's how you look at things, most people don't see that as...acceptable..." His hearts again, he really wants to take up that offer, but he doesn't want a conflicted Wendy...

<Kioku> "Don't they?  Strange..." Akemi muses to herself, then shrugs.  "But then again, some people here have a strange belief that kissing is something done only between romantic partners, rather than also between friends, so the oddity shouldn't surprise me."
<DrabberRogue> Jace sighs, such a strange girl. "Anyway...are you sure Wendy would be okay with something like that? She seems really conflicted about a lot of things right now, another layer of complexity might make things worse for her..." His expression is actually starting to show emotion now, a bit of worry and perhaps a tad of desire showing through his face, though it's barely noticeable.

<Kioku> One can't hide emotion from Akemi's subconcious, even if she doesn't conciously notice it - but in this case, she's been watching for Jace's reactions, testing his feelings, examining his responses ever so carefully.  Judging would be a harsh word for it, but accurate as well.  "As I said, it is her choice what to do, whether to pursue anything, just as it is up to her whether I am permitted to do the same.  We look out for each other,
<Kioku> we love each other and that love is never in doubt.  I will aid her in her conflict, and she knows it."
<DrabberRogue> Jace nods. "I should hope so...anyway, I want Wendy to tell me herself if she wants that, I'm not pursuing it if she doesn't." He pauses for a little bit, his worry becoming more apparent. "Please take care of her...I'm worried..." His tone sounds a lot more sincere now, his voice almost cracking. He'd seen her completely shut down by all the problems she's facing, he doesn't want to let that happen again...
<Kioku> "I will," Akemi murmurs in reply.  "I always will."  \We won't get much conversation on other topics done after that...\  She stands up, still eating, and glances down to Jace.  "Don't worry.  I'll make sure that she's very well taken care of.  She'll be alright."
<DrabberRogue> Jace takes a deep breath, resetting his default facial expression. "Alright...thank you for not over reacting...Akemi..."
<Kioku> Akemi just nods.  "Put the bento box in the dorm kitchen's sink later, if you would; I'll find it.  Oh, and Jace?"  She half-looks over her shoulder, having taken a few steps away already.  "It should be implied already, but if you hurt her, I'll ensure you wish for death~"  She giggles and skips away, back toward the dorm.
<DrabberRogue> Jace pauses for a minute as he watches her skip away, chuckling at her threat once she's gone. "Ensure you don't hurt her either...Akemi-san..." He proceeds to enjoy the rest of her excellent cooking before heading back to the dorm himself, why put off returning the bento anyway? He ponders on their conversation, thinking about the implications of the things said...and about Wendy. Jace wasn't sure he really wanted to share her with someone
