  1. RosenkrantzGM IT IS THE 41ST MILLENNIUM...
  2. RosenkrantzGM The Ecclesiastical Choirs announce First Watch as the Hymns from Saint Interlocutus’ “Vertias Ex Imperator” echo throughout the voidship’s halls. Everywhere, from the Ship’s Palace, to the Low Deck Compartments, voidsmen complete their duties while their comrades relieve them for the duration of the turning shift.
  3. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm dictates to his scribes as they fill the Lord-Captain’s log with all the basic details of the happenings during the ending Watch and provides data as it is handed to him in the form of reports from the various bridge stations by their respective ensigns.
  4. RosenkrantzGM Once finished, the Priests sent from the Ship’s Temple-Shrine are permitted to enter and begin their convocations and blessings on the bridge’s systems… as has become routine for every call of First Watch since your arrival in the Koronus Expanse.
  5. RosenkrantzGM “Growing with his role,” as Lord Heinrich has put it on more than one occasion, Lord Wilhelm has taken to seeing to the First Watch in the naval traditions explained to him by Commodore Mort, from his own days in service to His Imperial Navy.
  6. RosenkrantzGM Today it is no different, as he wears the “Emperor-forsaken” tunic in the style of Naval Admirals… that with an unforgiving tightness about the chest and waist, insisting on the posture ‘proper’ to a man in command of an Imperial Vessel or Fleet.
  7. RosenkrantzGM Despite Wilhelm’s discomfort, he has indeed come to grow with his role, as he appears to move around in the uniform significantly less rigid or awkwardly. This sort of thing has come to raise the spirit of unity, somewhat, among the Bridge Officers and crew, as their service appears to be honored by the ritual.
  8. RosenkrantzGM As the wise words of Interlocutus come to an end, the Bridge stations all report one by one to the First Officer, as the Lord-Captain sits on his command Throne and listens to the exchange.
  9. RosenkrantzGM “...Etherics!”
  10. RosenkrantzGM “Etherics systems all reporting Green. No missing or anomalous orbital trajectories being tracked. Internal Vox systems Check. External Vox systems Check…”
  11. RosenkrantzGM And so on, until the First Officer pivots to his left to repeat that which the Lord-Captain has already heard for himself… an annoying ritual to Wilhelm’s preferred quick-results and often impatient pragmatism, but one which he has at least started to appear to take seriously after he and Heinrich had a rather heated argument “on the duties expected of a man of such station” or however the echoes throughout the Ship’s Palace were overheard.
  12. RosenkrantzGM Lord Heinrich’s demeanor has been different of late, on account of a personal tragedy which fills him with bitterness. He has been making regular visits to the Temple-Shrine without much ceremony, at times only being recognized for being the last one to leave the sermons. You suspect this, too, has come to play a role in Wilhelm’s “growing”.
  13. RosenkrantzGM What is certain, however, is that the primary cause of tension has everything to do with the starboard battery’s report - One macrocannon damaged beyond all use, and sabotaged generators rendering targeting modules inaccurate in another two.
  14. RosenkrantzGM Since the heightened security measures were put into place, it would seem as though your saboteur has started to feel their time alive on the vessel is quickly coming to an end.
  15. RosenkrantzGM The batteries have been left alone, though now more desperate attacks have left a segment of the Voidship’s boats temporarily incapacitated, and one of the defense turrets’ primary gears shot out, rendering the defensive installation immobile.
  16. Lucrezia was on the bridge, watching over the etherics stations.
  17. Makh_Chomun reports to the bridge after eating. He arrives to give the Lord-Captain his daily report on his duties and responsibilities.
  18. Varenus_Grandier is lounging around in his cabin, rereading various books and attempting to tame the binge
  19. Baine_Mort is by the gunnery station on the bridge checking in with the crews working on the repairs of the ships damaged guns.
  20. Neue-Ziel is in his office, checking the reports on the ship and checking any surveillance footage.
  21. Caerwyn_Beraht wanders onto the bridge, groggily rubbing his eyes with his balled fists. His robes, normally immaculate in their presentation, are a rumpled tatterdemalion mess of white and gold. He lurches forward stiffly, too out of it to enact his usual blessings on the crew members and too weary to admonish the ensigns with unkempt workplaces. Behind him, his snide shadow slithers, her
  22. Caerwyn_Beraht perpetual look of disdain withering all around her. She clicks her tongue. "Boy Priest, it not your duty to bless the abode of the ship master? Obedeience is the drink-"
  23. Caerwyn_Beraht glares at his bodyguard, his weariness overpowering his typical meek behavior. Tao Xen relents with a click of the tongue.
  24. Lucrezia turns from her station for a moment, looking at the pair walking in. "Somebody had a rough night..."
  25. Makh_Chomun "So what is our next course of action, m'lord?" Makh says while leaning in in a quiet tone.
  26. Baine_Mort looks over his shoulder at Caerwyn for a moment and then back to his station.
  27. Caerwyn_Beraht ambles up to the command throne. He flashes Lucrezia a brief smile before Tao Xen delivers a meaty slap to his shoulder, not at all amused by her charge's distracted state. He takes his place next to Wilhelm. He yawns and rubs the last of the crust from his eyes. "Interlocutus sayeth thus: The idle body is the corrupted body. Toil is the health of the wise."
  28. Lucrezia walks towards the growing group surrounding Lord Wilhelm. No doubt the start of a meeting.
  29. Baine_Mort finishes up checking in the the repair crews and walks over to Wilhelm.
  30. Makh_Chomun welcomes everyone who is coming over with a fur-draped gesture of makh's arms.
  31. Varenus_Grandier comes to a revelation and quickly gathers his notes and heads to the bridge
  32. RosenkrantzGM "We're at the highest level of alert. The gloves are off, Makh... the crew is spooked, and I'm hearing too much chatter about 'ghosts' being responsible for this. The lost macrocannon has its Patrician self-flagellating, and the gun's crew causing a panic among the others." Wilhelm sounds tired, you suspect he hasn't slept.
  33. RosenkrantzGM It's not surprising, given the reports you have been allowed to review. They suggest a disturbing level of access - the ship’s robust security systems appear to give clearance to the wanted operative - without the sounding of intruder alarms in any of the attacks thus far, and no apparent forceful breaching of bulkheads or security system overloads.
  34. Global [LordLicorice] http://www.twitch.tv/lordlicoricederp/ streaman crap games
  35. Lucrezia "Are we still receiving information from the station?"
  36. Varenus_Grandier enters the bridge and waits impatiently to speak to the lord captain
  37. Caerwyn_Beraht "'Ghosts'? Oh dear...That might be a cause for concern." Caerwyn looks over to his bodyguard, who stoops over in prayer at the implication.
  38. RosenkrantzGM Heinrich responds from behind you, reading from his dataslate, "Indeed we are. a steady stream of information since it came online."
  39. Lucrezia "Anything new, Lord Heinrich?"
  40. Makh_Chomun "Ah! Professor! Come over!" Makh gestures for the navigator to approach, making a little room to let the man through.
  41. Baine_Mort "More like someone who's going around wearing a Cameleoline Cloak." Baine says to Caerwyn.
  42. RosenkrantzGM "Mostly ciphered data on biologis experiments and cataloged species, though we are working on a cipher that appears to give us some history on the station's origins and operations" he replies, approaching your group.
  43. Varenus_Grandier moves next to the Makh, the binge giving the man a hiss
  44. Varenus_Grandier "My Lord, I have some information that might be of some use
  45. Varenus_Grandier ."
  46. Lucrezia "Interesting... but not very helpful. So, what's the plan now? Because I doubt going on a hunt is the best idea we have."
  47. RosenkrantzGM "You've finally cleaned the filth off that native creature of yours?" the Lord-Captain tries to joke, but his tone remains somewhat tired.
  48. Varenus_Grandier laughs and scratches the binge's ear, betting a playful bite in return " Yes my lord, I have."
  49. Caerwyn_Beraht swats at Baine. "Do not jest, Master Baine! Current events bear the unmistakable fetor of the warp. Our woes may very be the product of 'ghosts'..!"
  50. Lucrezia "Come on, it's just a rather clever infiltrator."
  51. Varenus_Grandier "I'm guessing you would like to know that another splinter of House Visscher, is currently operating nearby. They are rather pitiful in they fact that they are always grasping for more respect among the greater house, and I suspect that they might be involved in the theft of my charts.
  52. Varenus_Grandier "
  53. Baine_Mort moves away from Caerwyn, "If you can prove that its caused by some warp shit then prove it, if not, my bets on it being someone who is well trained in stealth."
  54. Caerwyn_Beraht folds his arms and frowns. "By the God-Emperor, Interlocutus, and any other saint who is listening: I'll find that evidence!"
  55. Caerwyn_Beraht Tao Xen smiles and snickers. "Impossible. Your eyes will find what it wants to see, Caerwyn, not what is actually there."
  56. Caerwyn_Beraht "TAO! I am not in the mood!"
  57. Lucrezia "She's just suggesting that you don't get overzealous."
  58. Baine_Mort snickers as Caerwyn argues with Tao.
  59. Caerwyn_Beraht "Oh come on now! You're on her side now? Preposterous! I know warp taint when I see it; it IS my expertise, after all!"
  60. Makh_Chomun "Please keep your bickering to yourselves until you're off the bridge please."
  61. Caerwyn_Beraht Tao Xen nods, mockingly chuckling. "Hair-'pon-Chest speaks the truth, young priest."
  62. Caerwyn_Beraht throws his arms up. "By the God-Emperor, it's happening! The entire universe has decided to turn against me, the beleaguered Caerwyn Beraht. Oh woe, oh misfortune! Boo hoo!" Distressingly, it is not exactly clear if Caerwyn is being sarcastic or not.
  63. Lucrezia "Caerwyn, did you even eat something after waking up? You seem a tad cranky today."
  64. Caerwyn_Beraht "No, Lucrezia, I didn't have a damn thing to eat, nor did I have the time to arrange my accoutrements, say proper prayers, or do anything really! My lovely bodyguard here thought it proper to drag me to the bridge in such a dishelved state without any preparation."
  65. Caerwyn_Beraht "You over sleeping was not a fault of my doing."
  66. Caerwyn_Beraht "God-Emperor, please, Tao, be SILENT!"
  67. Lucrezia "Alright..." Lucrezia then left for a moment before returning with a cup of recaf and offering it. "Well, once we are done here, we'll see about getting you some food."
  68. Makh_Chomun " Sister Tao, I'm sure you enjoy tormenting your charge, but now isn't the time, restrain yourself or I will remove you from the bridge."
  69. =-= Makh_Chomun has changed the topic to “YOU CAN'T FIGHT IN HERE, THIS IS THE ROGUE-TRADER BRIDGE”
  70. Caerwyn_Beraht takes the recaf and mutters a brief thank you, greedily slurping it down. Tao looks like she's about to demur, but bites her tongue. She'll have her fun later.
  71. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm rises with a low grunt, and pulls at the end of his tunic to stretch it to his now standing form.
  72. Lucrezia steps back, giving Wilhelm some room as he stands up.
  73. RosenkrantzGM "In any case, the Medicae Deck should be ready now, and I would like to see these bodies for myself. Care to join me?"
  74. Lucrezia "Of course."
  75. Baine_Mort "If you wish my Lord Captain."
  76. Varenus_Grandier "I wish to see my brothers."
  77. Makh_Chomun "Of course Lord-Captain. Shall I prepare an escort?"
  78. Caerwyn_Beraht seems to balk at the prospect of seeing the bodies of the unclean, but his medical curiousity compels him to come.
  79. RosenkrantzGM "Please," Wilhelm nods.
  80. Makh_Chomun has a quick word with one of the sergeant-at-arms to have a small escort wait outside for their arrival.
  81. RosenkrantzGM The command is acknowledged with a quick salute, and the man exits.
  82. RosenkrantzGM "Right... sword!" Wilhelm calls out. An aide rushes to the Lord-Captain's side and presents him with his powersword.
  83. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm receives it and attaches it to his belt. He looks up at you, and with a quick nod, he makes his way out of the bridge.
  84. Baine_Mort follows Wilhelm
  85. Makh_Chomun follows after him.
  86. Varenus_Grandier follows him out the bridge
  87. Neue-Ziel overhears the conversation in the bridge on his console and heads towards the Medicae Deck.
  88. RosenkrantzGM Just outside, an escort is ready. Two House Guard, four Armsmen, and their Sergeant-At-Arms.
  89. Lucrezia follows along.
  90. Makh_Chomun motions for the escort to fall in.
  91. RosenkrantzGM As you walk along the wide corridors, those standing guard on the bulkheads snap to attention and salute you. This happens often, given the state of security onboard the ship. Soon, you arrive at a levatus, where the escort halts and gives the interior a quick inspection before letting you in.
  92. RosenkrantzGM The doors close, and you begin to descend.
  93. RosenkrantzGM "You should see the level of detail we're getting from the station," Wilhelm comments.
  94. RosenkrantzGM "There are some issues, but the range of the scanners and the clarity... if nothing else, we will have eyes on any unwelcome guests well before they are able to strike."
  95. Makh_Chomun "That's welcome news."
  96. Caerwyn_Beraht "You should be careful when appraising such data, Lord Wilhelm. Who knows what twisted things moulder in those ancient data-stacks...But if it is as advantageous as you say, I suppose I cannot argue."
  97. Caerwyn_Beraht twitches a little, shuffling in place. It seems like that recaf is hitting him.
  98. RosenkrantzGM The levatus stops, arriving at its destination, and the doors open.
  99. RosenkrantzGM Chomun's directives were taken very seriously - the first thing you see is a veritable barricade. A checkpoint with armed personnel numbering around thirty.
  100. RosenkrantzGM The man in charge, a junior officer or some sort by the look of the uniform underneath his armor, raises a hand and by force of habit demands you identify yourself as soon as the doors open.
  101. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm simply clears his throat.
  102. Caerwyn_Beraht looks like he's about to lay into the young man, but stops himself as Wilhelm provides a more curt response to the impudent officer.
  103. Makh_Chomun "Come now, you're not blind are you, leftenent?"
  104. RosenkrantzGM The man immediately snaps at a brace, and calls, "Captain on deck!" which immediately prompts his men to snap at attention and salute in your direction.
  105. Makh_Chomun nods at that.
  106. Varenus_Grandier chuckles at the poor boys mistake, and gives him a reassuring look
  107. RosenkrantzGM "You are performing your duties admirably, lads," Wilhelm praises them as he advances past their checkpoint.
  108. Makh_Chomun gives the junior officer and his men some reassuring words before moving on with the rest of the group.
  109. Caerwyn_Beraht passes by, a look of amusement on his face. He takes his vial of holy water and bies the officer a quick blessing.
  110. Baine_Mort follows
  111. Neue-Ziel catches up to the group.
  112. Baine_Mort "Hello Ziel, how have you been?"
  113. RosenkrantzGM After one final checkpoint a few hundred meters away, you enter a large chamber where instead of armsmen, the guards are combat servitors of a frightening variety, and all staff is robed in the crimson of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
  114. Neue-Ziel "Combing through the data in my office."
  115. Lucrezia "Better behave ourselves, huh?"
  116. Baine_Mort "Any thing useful?"
  117. Neue-Ziel "Nothing of interest."
  118. Makh_Chomun turns to Ziel and gives him a wave of the hand before turning back.
  119. RosenkrantzGM "Are the Biologis finished?" Wilhelm inquires of his Enginseer Prime.
  120. Neue-Ziel waves back.
  121. Neue-Ziel "Finishing up at the moment."
  122. RosenkrantzGM "Excellent. Take me to them." he nods.
  123. Neue-Ziel leads the group to the genetors.
  124. RosenkrantzGM You walk into a sort of observation room. You stand on a sort of platform overlooking the center of the room where the subjects are displayed while the genetors around them finalize their observations and log their findings.
  125. Varenus_Grandier "Those responsible will pay."
  126. RosenkrantzGM The genetor leading the post-mortem analysis turns to you when you enter, and makes the sign of the Omnissiah, giving a short bow to the Enginseer Prime.
  127. Caerwyn_Beraht "Let me see the report, Red Robed one." Caerwyn makes the sign of the Aquila, almost mockinglky. "I am curious to see your analysis."
  128. Neue-Ziel makes the sign of the Omnissiah and says [Techna] "Ignore the child. What news do you have my brother?"
  129. Makh_Chomun puts a hand on Caerwyn's shoulder. "Let's play nice, brother." Makh gives the young priest a grin.
  130. RosenkrantzGM [Techna-lingua] "We didn't expect you to arrive before our report. Welcome, brother."
  131. Lucrezia politely nods as she walks in.
  132. Neue-Ziel [Techna-lingua] "Our Lord-Captain is quite anxious and rightfully so."
  133. Caerwyn_Beraht "I am playing nice!" He protests. "I think it is quite kind of me to offer my insight on his work. I AM quite skilled in the arts of the medicae, after all."
  134. RosenkrantzGM He moves aside, and with a short burst of binary he both alerts the other genetors, and commands the servitors to make room.
  135. RosenkrantzGM "Lord-Captain," the genetor greets with a nod.
  136. Baine_Mort "Priest boy, be quiet for the moment."
  137. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm doesn't say a word, but slowly walks towards the bodies.
  138. Varenus_Grandier follows him
  139. Neue-Ziel [Techna-lingua] "If something unfortunate where to happen to our poor Priest boy, I believe his 'knowledge' and body could be useful as one of your servitors."
  140. Lucrezia approaches along with Wilhelm. Her hand stays near her holstered revolver, ready to draw if need be.
  141. Neue-Ziel follows as well.
  142. Caerwyn_Beraht ignores the babbling tech priests and inspects his surroundings. Despite his predilection for medicine he is not yet acquanted with this part of the ship.
  143. RosenkrantzGM The bodies closest to you are those of the slain astropaths. The work is without a doubt that of a professional. Small, clean enter- and exit-wounds, perfectly placed. On another, a masterful incision across the neck.
  144. Baine_Mort follows
  145. Caerwyn_Beraht slips away from the consoles, tools, and the other trappings of the medcae trade to see the uncovered corpse. He looks on with detached awe.
  146. RosenkrantzGM "No signs of a struggle, they appear to have been completely unaware of the lethal danger they were in... of their predator." a slight shift in tone of emphases on the last word.
  147. Varenus_Grandier "looks professional."
  148. Makh_Chomun approaches the bodies as well, giving them a quizzical look. "Seems like we're dealing with someone truly dangerous."
  149. Lucrezia "What do you think was the weapon used?"
  150. Caerwyn_Beraht runs his finger across the neck incision, feeling the contour of the wound. "In mortium, Pacem. Ut praetor illum locium invenies. Ave Imperator."
  151. Caerwyn_Beraht "These projectile wounds..." Caerwyn walks over to the other corpse and traces the entry hole with a finger, cantillating silently. "Some kind of solid projectile. Too small for the kind of trauma caused by a small or large calibre stub round. Perhaps...perhaps a needle of some kind? But what kind of godless weapon fires needles?"
  152. Caerwyn_Beraht "And this incision wound. It's too clean. Not even surgical tools are this sharp...Terra juxtan Ipsum this is worrying. The only consolation is..." Caerwyn turns a little red, bites his lip, and readies himself for some unutterable feelings of shame.
  153. Caerwyn_Beraht "The only consolation in all of this is that these wounds were definitely not caused by some unclean spirit."
  154. Makh_Chomun "So an assassin of sorts then."
  155. Lucrezia "We are dealing with something rather bad still, however. Needle weapons are rare and usually found in the hands of top agents, assassins and spies. No signs of poisoning on them?"
  156. Caerwyn_Beraht "HELLO! MASTER BIOLOGIS! Praytell, did you run a tox-screen on these poor souls over here?"
  157. RosenkrantzGM After an awkward couple of seconds of the genetor eyeing the intrusive priest, he responds, "There were traces of a mild nerve agent. Though nothing to suggest a lethal dose. And... it may interest you to know that it was found in all three astropaths."
  158. RosenkrantzGM "The carcass on the far end, just by Master Mort is that of the Grandier navigator. You will notice that his wounds appear to be more carelessly inflicted," he points with the end of his dataslate.
  159. Baine_Mort turns to look at the carcass next to him.
  160. Lucrezia "What can you tell us of this nerve agent?"
  161. Caerwyn_Beraht eyes him awkwardly. "Er...Thank you Master Biologis."
  162. RosenkrantzGM There are severe burns to the right hand, forearm, shoulder, and his face... completely deforming any recognizable facial features.
  163. Makh_Chomun "Nasty."
  164. Caerwyn_Beraht "Perhaps thsi murder was motivated by anger? Or perhaps it was commited by a less...adroit assassin."
  165. RosenkrantzGM An assisting genetor approaches Varenus, holding a pendant with a rosette of House Grandier.
  166. Varenus_Grandier takes the pendent "Thank you."
  167. RosenkrantzGM "All bodies were found in the same chamber. They were together when it happened," Wilhelm says almost to himself, trying to piece things together.
  168. Makh_Chomun "Could also be a personal thing."
  169. Caerwyn_Beraht "Perhaps..."
  170. Caerwyn_Beraht shakes his head. "No no we already know that it wasn't warpcraft... Do we have more evidence? Has the scene of these godless murders been tampered with at all?"
  171. RosenkrantzGM "Only to remove the bodies. The Guard has barred anyone from gaining access to the scene of the crime"
  172. Lucrezia "Hmm..." She then approaches the table holding all the other effects found on the bodies. "This is a holster, is it not? And empty? How curious..." She then puts on a pair of gloves and gently takes the holster for a closer look.
  173. RosenkrantzGM It is a cross-strap holster, likely worn underneath his tunic. The securing button is broken; the weapon was drawn with urgency. Desperation, even. Given this knowledge, you have reason to suspect that perhaps the burn patterns on the body were caused by the weapon itself... a horrible misfire, either accidental... or not.
  174. Lucrezia "Well, our navigator here might have been a good witnessed. Our killer hit the astropaths... they fall, three-eye panics and sees our killer, draws... Weapon misfires and burns him. I wonder what gun this holster held..."
  175. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm looks up at the seneschal, impressed.
  176. Lucrezia "Tell me... the burns? Are they electrical? Chemical...?"
  177. RosenkrantzGM "Chemical," the reply comes in dryly.
  178. Caerwyn_Beraht beams and gives a polite little clap. "perspicacious as always, Lucrezia."
  179. Makh_Chomun gives Lucrezia as a short bout of applause.
  180. Lucrezia thinks for a moment, grinning slightly. "I'd like to see the murder scene. My bets for the burns are hand flamer or maybe a lot of projectile proppelant. The lack of shrapnel wounds leads me to hand flamer, though." She then turns to the others after a moment, having lost herself in thought. "Oh! Thank you." She gives a small smile.
  181. Neue-Ziel "The chemical burns and the misfire were probably caused by the plasma pistol."
  182. Varenus_Grandier "I think I remember seeing him around."
  183. Varenus_Grandier "With the plasma pistol."
  184. Lucrezia "Oh boy, getting fancy, aren't we? Though that does make even more sense. Good job, Ziel."
  185. Neue-Ziel "Thanks."
  186. RosenkrantzGM "Who needs the Adeptus Arbites?" Wilhelm says with a laugh.
  187. Caerwyn_Beraht looks like he's about to burst into an impassioned explanation, but realizes Wilhelm is joking. He starts to laugh along, sheepishly.
  188. Lucrezia politely bows. "We just got on a good streak today. Besides, I wouldn't look good in an Arbites uniform."
  189. Makh_Chomun "So what now? Should we investigate the room of the murders?"
  190. RosenkrantzGM "Only one way to find out..." he answers Lucrezia with a cheeky smile.
  191. Caerwyn_Beraht gives him a leery eyed look, frowning. "I think that would be a logical next step, Master Chomun. It's a bad idea to waste one's time, yes?" His tongue seems particularly caustic today. Must be the lack of sleep.
  192. RosenkrantzGM The familiar voice of Olga chirps in your ear +Etherics reporting loss of sensory data stream+
  193. RosenkrantzGM "Emperor's Teeth..." Wilhelm hisses.
  194. Neue-Ziel +Interference from the nearby Star?+
  195. Lucrezia was actually surprised by the comment, finding herself without words for a moment before regaining her composure. "Now that is being a little too risque, your Lordship." She then turns serious once more. "I feared that would happen..."
  196. RosenkrantzGM +Negative. Internal systems failure.+
  197. Neue-Ziel "Looks like our guests are getting bolder."
  198. Caerwyn_Beraht "Perhaps we can catch them in the act."
  199. Baine_Mort "Yes it seems like it, shall we find them then?"
  200. Lucrezia "No time to lose. Ziel, see if you can figure out where the problem is."
  201. Makh_Chomun +Can you track the origin of the failure, Olga?+
  202. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm practically shoves the Genetor out of his way as he bursts out of the chamber.
  203. Varenus_Grandier follows after him
  204. Lucrezia rushes after Wilhelm.
  205. RosenkrantzGM +Several starboard sensors are offline. Multiple systems failure+
  206. Makh_Chomun sighs mentally, 'oh boy he's on the war path.' He thinks to himself.
  207. Baine_Mort follow Wilhelm.
  208. Neue-Ziel follows Wilhelm.
  209. Makh_Chomun brings up the rear. Requesting status updates from his subordinates through his comm-bead.
  210. Caerwyn_Beraht stumbles after his lord, begging him to proceed with caution.
  211. RosenkrantzGM "Keep up, or move out of the way!" he barks at the escort waiting outside.
  212. Neue-Ziel equips his chainsword.
  213. Baine_Mort pulls out his bolt pistol
  214. Varenus_Grandier reluctantly draws his hellpistol
  215. Caerwyn_Beraht taps his chainsword and hurries behind his comrades.
  216. RosenkrantzGM The echoing steps of your group alerts the checkpoint by the levatus of your approach, but the brisk pace you have adopted makes them get out of your way well before you arrive -and push right past- their checkpoint and into the levatus.
  217. Lucrezia "Emergency, no time to explain!" She screams while rushing past.
  218. RosenkrantzGM +Lord-Captain...+ the formality in Heinrich's voice strikes you as odd.
  219. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm slams his hand on the rune inside the Levatus.
  220. Makh_Chomun pulls the last of the escort into the levatus by his collar, to get him inside in time.
  221. RosenkrantzGM +A ship's boat as been launched... we've only just picked it up using the voidstation's systems to compensate for our own vessel's+
  222. Caerwyn_Beraht slaps his forehead with his hand. "Oh God-EMperor, this day is really getting interesting."
  223. Baine_Mort "I suggest we go after it, our guest may be on it."
  224. Lucrezia +Any idea on it's course?+
  225. Makh_Chomun "Could be a decoy."
  226. Baine_Mort "True, unless they want use to think its a decoy."
  227. RosenkrantzGM +Lord Chomun, we have a body. The Guard has secured the remains.+
  228. Caerwyn_Beraht "Could be a gaggle of sinners trying to flee the righteous ire of the just."
  229. Lucrezia +Who was it?+
  230. RosenkrantzGM +No cognomen tags were found. We have reason to believe it's a suspect.+
  231. Lucrezia "Damn it... I say that we get an Aquila to tail it. And we focus on our sensors. I have a bad feeling about this."
  232. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm remains silent, his eyes fixed directly in front of him.
  233. RosenkrantzGM The levatus arrives at its destination, and the doors open.
  234. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm rushes out in the direction of the bridge.
  235. Baine_Mort follows Wilhelm to the bridge.
  236. Makh_Chomun +Where is the body currently located?+
  237. Varenus_Grandier continues to follow Wilhelm
  238. Neue-Ziel heads toward the bridge.
  239. Caerwyn_Beraht shrugs his shoulders and chases off after Wilhlem.
  240. RosenkrantzGM +The Lieutenant is having it moved in front of a pict monitor for your viewing.+
  241. RosenkrantzGM Once inside the bridge, Wilhelm barks back at Ziel, "Access the surveillance systems and put that image up on the holo-display."
  242. Baine_Mort enters the bridge.
  243. Makh_Chomun follows the Captain, staying on his heels, making sure he doesn't do anything brash.
  244. Neue-Ziel accesses a near console and connects with his MIU.
  245. RosenkrantzGM The holodisplay fires up. The image is obstructed by one of the Armsmen standing in the way, however.
  246. RosenkrantzGM Wilhelm shoots a glare at Chomun.
  247. Makh_Chomun +Leftenent clear the pict-feed's view.+
  248. RosenkrantzGM The man quickly shifts out of place, looking up at the pict monitor, you see him raise his hand up to his ear.
  249. RosenkrantzGM +Apologies, my Lord+
  250. RosenkrantzGM +We have found a marking on the body+
  251. Makh_Chomun +Oh?+
  252. RosenkrantzGM The Lieutenant makes a motion to his men, and they remove the suspect's tunic.
  253. Neue-Ziel uses the camera to zoom in on the marking on the body.
  254. RosenkrantzGM You identify the markings as that of Guilliam Wan Fallaset's Death Squads.
  255. Caerwyn_Beraht scratches his chin, trying to puzzle through the maarkings on the man's body.
  256. Lucrezia "Well, what's one of Wan Fallaset's men doing here? I'm impressed that they pulled this off. Him being as low as a Rogue Trader can be..."
  257. Caerwyn_Beraht "Wan..Wan who? Is this the work of some lowly rogue ? How...anticlimatic."
  258. RosenkrantzGM "We know he's unlikely to be the brains of the operation," Heinrich comments. "That viper of his is most likely responsible for this infiltration."
  259. Makh_Chomun "The sheer gallllllllllllllllllllllllllll of the this man, he'll soon learn the ire for fecking with us."
  260. RosenkrantzGM "Rogue Trader..." Wilhelm repeats under his breath.
  261. Varenus_Grandier "Any chance you know what navigator house is employed by him?"
  262. Baine_Mort "Yea that ass hole, haven't heard about him much in the past few months."
  263. RosenkrantzGM "If it is of any help, his flagship is the Blood Standard," Heinrich aides the navigator.
  264. Makh_Chomun "So shall we pursue the life boat, Lord Captain?"
  265. RosenkrantzGM "Etherics, are we tracking?" Wilhelm inquires.
  266. Caerwyn_Beraht silently observes the ongoing drama. He looks over his shoulder and notices Tao Xen, lurking not too far away. He quickly turns his head forward again, his blood chilled by her steely gaze.
  267. RosenkrantzGM "Target appears to be attempting to climb to a higher orbit," Olga replies.
  268. Baine_Mort "My Lord Captain shall we chase after in with the Gun-cutter?"
  269. RosenkrantzGM "Olga... why am I not receiving any data from the voidstation?" Heinrich inquires, approaching the Etherics station.
  270. RosenkrantzGM "It appears... it appears as though systems have come offline," she paces to another monitor, as if to confirm. She turns to Heinrich, then, and nods.
  271. Neue-Ziel orders the techpriests and technomats to begin emergency repairs on the ship.
  272. Lucrezia "I don't like this one bit. Makes me think we might have visitors."
  273. Makh_Chomun "Lord-Captain, what are your orders?"
  274. RosenkrantzGM "Pursue that shuttle. Capture the operative for questioning..."
  275. RosenkrantzGM "...if convenient." he adds.
  276. Lucrezia "Understood, my lord. Shall we take an Aquila for this assignment?"
  277. RosenkrantzGM "The Hangar is open to your needs. The decision is yours." he nods
  278. RosenkrantzGM "Prepare the lighter bay!" he then calls
  279. Makh_Chomun "Understood, m'lord!" Makh orders his adjutant to bring his armor and weapons to the hangar.
  280. Varenus_Grandier runs to his quarters and straps on his armor, quickly returning
  281. Baine_Mort "See you all at the hanger." Baine says as he makes his way to the hanger.
  282. Neue-Ziel uses the console to have a servitor meet him in the hanger bay with his basic equipment.
  283. Lucrezia heads off to gather her gear on the way to the hangar
  284. Makh_Chomun meets his adjutant in the hangar and suits himself up.
  285. Neue-Ziel heads toward the hangar.
  286. RosenkrantzGM The hangar is active, in preparation for your mission. One of each type of craft has been prepared for you to choose from.
  287. Baine_Mort arrives at the hanger
  288. RosenkrantzGM In the Captain's Hangar, everything is ready, and you are instantly cleared to board.
  289. Varenus_Grandier checks his gear and quickly moves to the hanger
  290. Varenus_Grandier +What ship?+
  291. Lucrezia gets on board of the prepped Aquila.
  292. Makh_Chomun follows Lucrezia onto the Aquila. "We'll want speed for this, so the Aquila, Professor."
  293. Baine_Mort boards the Aquila and readies it for take off
  294. Neue-Ziel grabs his equipment from the servitor and enters the Aquila.
  295. Varenus_Grandier quickly boards the Aquila and straps in
  296. Neue-Ziel straps himself in.
  297. Baine_Mort +This is Mort, Aquila is ready for take off.+ Baine says as he seals the hatch.
  298. RosenkrantzGM +You are clear for takeoff. Emperor be with you+
  299. Baine_Mort +Emperor be with you as well.+ He disengages the landing gear and takes the Aquila out of the hanger and into the void.
  300. Caerwyn_Beraht shifts uncomfortably in his seat. "Him On Terra...please tell me somebody happens to have some more recaf? I'm feeling rather parched and logy."
  301. Lucrezia shakes her head. "Nope, sorry."
  302. Makh_Chomun makes sure his armor is pressurized and secure.
  303. RosenkrantzGM The systems track the moving shuttle on the various displays.
  304. Caerwyn_Beraht slumps in his seat, and sighs. He squeezes his aquila rosary, grumbling. "This is going to be a long day, huh?"
  305. Makh_Chomun straps himself in.
  306. RosenkrantzGM You notice the course it's taking you on is exactly like that one you have taken before to link up with the voidstation's orbit...
  307. Baine_Mort +Looks like its heading for the voidstation.+
  308. RosenkrantzGM +Aye, we're tracking...+
  309. Baine_Mort directs the aquila in the direction of the life boat and chases after it.
  310. RosenkrantzGM +You must intercept, Master Mort.+
  311. Baine_Mort +Understood, engaging now.+
  312. RosenkrantzGM At your speed, you are slowly gaining on the shuttle.
  313. RosenkrantzGM Some 20 minutes into it, your scanning systems and your eyes both confirm you are approaching the Voidstation.
  314. Lucrezia "We might want to stop it from docking with the station..."
  315. Baine_Mort turns the coms to the same channel as the life boat. +Life Boat, halt or we will be forced to destroy you.+
  316. Baine_Mort +You have 30 seconds to comply.+
  317. Caerwyn_Beraht "Let them land. Those salacious scumbags will only corner themselves."
  318. Lucrezia "I want them alive."
  319. RosenkrantzGM A reply is returned, but in a dialect unknown to your pilot.
  320. Makh_Chomun "When you do fire at them, intentionally miss, force them to dock."
  321. Baine_Mort "Hey I need some one who knows what they are saying."
  322. Caerwyn_Beraht perks up, eager to please. "Replay the transmission."
  323. Baine_Mort plays the transition over the Aquila's speakers.
  324. RosenkrantzGM The repeated message says thus: +30 seconds is longer than you have, fool+
  325. Caerwyn_Beraht listens to the transmission, tilting his head and silently sounding out each syllable to himself. "Gothic Derivative...Syntax is...Hmmm..."
  326. Caerwyn_Beraht "...'30 Seconds is longer than you have, fool'? What kind of threat is that?"
  327. RosenkrantzGM For a split second, the vox system and scanners appear to lose and regain power.
  328. RosenkrantzGM +We have lost all connection to the voidstation+ the bridge informs
  329. RosenkrantzGM The voidstation's defenses suddenly open up. Long streaks of lascannon fire shoot out in your direction... roughly.
  330. Caerwyn_Beraht jumps. "Oh sweet God-Emperor! Repeat your threat and try to be a bit more peremptory, Master Mort! They seem to have some sort of ruse up their sleeves!"
  331. RosenkrantzGM The old systems aren't as accurate as they once were... clearly.
  332. Lucrezia "I think that's their damn ruse!"
  333. Makh_Chomun "Wooo, things are getting interesting. Serpentine, Baine, serpentine!"
  334. Neue-Ziel "Shoot the fools!"
  335. Lucrezia "No, no! We need them alive!"
  336. Lucrezia "Can't we dock in a blind spot?"
  337. Caerwyn_Beraht "Lucrezia! THEY. ARE. SHOOTING. AT. US! I think taking them alive should take be secondary to STAYING ALIVE!"
  338. Caerwyn_Beraht grips his seat, badly shook. The streaking las fire makes him grimace with each report.
  339. Baine_Mort opens fire on the life pod.
  340. Varenus_Grandier looks straight forward with steely resolve
  341. Lucrezia "Look how bad their aim was!"
  342. RosenkrantzGM The pilot on board the spacecraft expertly maneuvers out of your arc of fire... once again reinforcing the notion that these are professionals.
  343. RosenkrantzGM The voidstation's lascannons recalibrate and fire once more... missing again.
  344. Baine_Mort opens fire on the life boat again
  345. Lucrezia "See! Mister Mort, see if you can find a blindspot for an approach."
  346. Makh_Chomun "How ya holding up, Caerwyn? Enjoying the ride?" If you squint you can just make out Makh's mad grin as he's having the time of his life in this life or death situation.
  347. Baine_Mort "The station is taking shots at us as well, seems like someone is control of the station's defenses."
  348. Caerwyn_Beraht "GET ME OFF THIS DAMNED ASSORTMENT OF SERVOS AND GEARS!" Caerwyn screeches. "THIS ISN'T RIGHT! THIS ISN'T RIGHT AT ALL!"
  349. RosenkrantzGM The rounds land a direct hit on the armor surrounding the driver's compartment, leaving him stunned an reeling. The shuttle's trajectory begins to slowly turn in an upward arc, as the pilot's limp body pulls on the controls.
  350. Neue-Ziel "Lady Lucrezia, please slap him."
  351. Baine_Mort +Lord Captain, this is Mort looks like someone has set up in the void station as its shooting back at us.+
  352. RosenkrantzGM +We... have LOST THE STATION?!+
  353. Lucrezia doesn't quite go with that but she does try to hold him in place. "Hey, relax, Caerwyn, we are safe! And Mister Mort is a fine pilot."
  354. Baine_Mort +That is still to be fully determined but it looks like it.+
  355. Makh_Chomun unstraps himself from his seat and heads over to where Caerwyn hangs on for dear life. Makh starts to shake the priest violently by the shoulders. "Get a grip!"
  356. Lucrezia tries to get Makh off of Caerwyn. "Hey! I'm handling this."
  357. Caerwyn_Beraht clutches his belly, the motion wracking his dirt-dweller stomach with butterflies and nausea. "I'M FINE! I'm...fine! I just...how do any of you accept this terrible motion?! The God-Emperor gave us two legs so that we might stand on solid ground, not fly about like some over sized bog-bird...!"
  358. Lucrezia "Because he wants us to conquer the stars, Caerwyn! You should know this!"
  359. Makh_Chomun backs off of the Priest but gives the Seneschal a knowing grin. He then heads up to the cockpit to get a better view of the situation.
  360. Baine_Mort continuous to follow the life boat.
  361. Caerwyn_Beraht "Ack! Your logic is infallible, Lucrezia, but it doesn't make me feel any bett-" Caerwyn wretches, looking a little green. He gently pushes Lucrezia away, fearing the worst. He starts to take deep breaths, trying to reclaim his cool. He lets out a breathy sigh and groans. "I should have known this was going to happen. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed...Acted all cranky...This whole
  362. Caerwyn_Beraht assassin business began...Now I'm flipping around in a can hurtling nine hundred kilometers per hour getting shot at...!" He continues grousing, groaning about what a terrible day he's been having.
  363. Baine_Mort begins to maneuver the Aquila to get closer to the life boat.
  364. RosenkrantzGM The approach of your Aquila is steady enough at first, but as you close the gap between the spacecraft, the pilot's course is slightly altered, and your reflexes fail you in that critical split-second.
  365. Caerwyn_Beraht grips his seat even harder, descending back into a lizard-brain panic. "THIS IS NOT HOW I WANT TO DIE!"
  366. RosenkrantzGM In order to avoid collision, you have to break off course.
  367. RosenkrantzGM As you do so, another stream of lascannon fire rushes past you.
  368. Baine_Mort "Fuck that was close, almost ran right into the life boat"
  369. Caerwyn_Beraht "WE ALMOST RAN *INTO* THE LIFE BOAT? GOD-EMPEROR, MAN, WHY ARE YOU FLYING SO CLOSE?!"
  370. Lucrezia "Well, we are still alive. Take a few slow and deep breaths, relax... please." She then curses under her breath and holds onto his hands, her grip somewhat firm and trying to be reassuring.
  371. RosenkrantzGM At that moment, you also notice the shuttle correct its course. The pilot once again in control of the spacecraft.
  372. Baine_Mort brings the Aquila around
  373. Neue-Ziel "If we die, we will be with the Emperor and the Omnissiah."
  374. Lucrezia "Well, I don't plan on meeting either of them just yet."
  375. Baine_Mort "Chomun, thing you can board that life boat."
  376. RosenkrantzGM In a textbook Immelmann Turn, your Aquila is brought in directly behind your target.
  377. Caerwyn_Beraht holds onto Lucrezia with a vice grip, squeezing his eyes closed in a feeble attempt to block out the various motions and noises created by the dog fight. He begins to pray, over and over and over and over and over...
  378. Makh_Chomun "We'll find out, soon enough."
  379. Caerwyn_Beraht "Imperator Deumium obsecron ut me ab hoc malois....Imperator Deumium obsecron ut me ab hoc malois....Imperator Deumium obsecron ut me ab hoc malois...."
  380. Lucrezia tries to keep him focused on her voice. "We are going to make it, trust me Caerwyn."
  381. Neue-Ziel looks for some cable or rope.
  382. Varenus_Grandier '"This is quite the experience."
  383. RosenkrantzGM The Aquila's engines are pushed to the limits, as are the pilot's skills, as it closes the distance to the damaged shuttle.
  384. Baine_Mort begins bringing the Aquila in closer to the life boat for boarding.
  385. Neue-Ziel connects a cable to Chomun and secures it.
  386. Makh_Chomun "Thanks."
  387. Neue-Ziel holds tightly to the cable.
  388. Makh_Chomun Once the Aquila is depressurized enough Makh braces himself and with a quick prayer to the Emperor he launches himself towards the escape shuttle.....
  389. Makh_Chomun ...and he lands with all the grace his years in combat have given him. With a roar he rips open a bigger hole in the already torn up armor and climbs inside the shuttle.
  390. RosenkrantzGM The passenger compartment is severely damaged. There is no power to it. The only source of light is on the far front, on the hatch connecting to the pilot's chamber.
  391. Baine_Mort +Lord Captain, We have boarded the Life Boat.+
  392. Makh_Chomun unholsters one of his bolt-pistols and approaches the hatch. He then knocks on the hatch with the bottom of the bolt-pistol. +Baine, tell the pilot to surrender, I'm right outside the cockpit now.+
  393. Baine_Mort switch to the life boat coms, +Life Boat pilot, Surrender now, we have boarded you.+
  394. RosenkrantzGM The reply comes back a few seconds later, in the same odd dialect.
  395. Baine_Mort replays the messages over the comms.
  396. Neue-Ziel +Priest boy, do your job!+
  397. Baine_Mort +Caerwyn, translation please, now.+
  398. Caerwyn_Beraht fumbles with his microbead. "Uh...uh...uh!"
  399. RosenkrantzGM +You have displayed superior martial prowess. I surrender.+
  400. Caerwyn_Beraht +He said...uh, he ssaaaaid...He said that he surrenders because of your superior martial prowess or something or other...CAN WE PLEASE LAND SOON?!+
  401. Makh_Chomun Makh's grin widens. No one escapes THE SAVAGE.
  402. Neue-Ziel +The Machine Spirit is pleased! I doubt it wants to stop!+
  403. Lucrezia continues to hold his hand. "Soon..."
  404. RosenkrantzGM The shuttle begins to slow down, forward thrusters pushing it to a much slower velocity.
  405. Baine_Mort begins to slow the ship
  406. RosenkrantzGM The pilot's hatch bleeds atmosphere in front of Chomun as it is depressurized.
  407. Lucrezia +Hey, Chomun, see if you can learn what's running the station.+
  408. Makh_Chomun keeps his bolt-pistol trained on the hatch-way. Makh motions for the prisoner to move towards the rent opening.
  409. Baine_Mort +Lord Captain, We have captures the pilot of the Life Boat.+
  410. RosenkrantzGM There is a vibration along the bulkhead as the gears unlock the hatch...
  411. RosenkrantzGM The hatch slowly opens up, flickering lights and sparks are the first thing you see.
  412. RosenkrantzGM Then, the figure of the man in his voidsuit. He is holding a strange device, emitting a low red glow. His other hand is extended out in front of him, raised in surrender.
  413. Makh_Chomun continues to motion for the man to move to the opening.
  414. Makh_Chomun +I have the prisoner, Ziel I'll be crossing back over with him soon.+
  415. RosenkrantzGM He supports himself with his free hand, and walks out, still holding his glowing device.
  416. Neue-Ziel +Understood.+
  417. Makh_Chomun once at the opening, Makh uses one hand to grip the prisoner by the back of his suit, keeping his bolt-pistol trained on him all the way. He then pushes the prisoner and himself back to the Aquila.
  418. Neue-Ziel preps the winch to pull the cable.
  419. Baine_Mort +Lotd Captain come in, I repeat that we have captured the pilot of the life boat. Do you copy?+
  420. RosenkrantzGM The man is generally cooperative, remaining in as non-threatening a posture as he can.
  421. RosenkrantzGM +Master Mort, the Lord-Captain is indisposed. He has instructed your return as soon as your mission is complete+
  422. Baine_Mort +Understood, we will returning shortly. Mort out.+
  423. Makh_Chomun +I have no idea what he's holding Ziel, you should probably give it a look as I restrain him.+
  424. Neue-Ziel +Understood.+
  425. Neue-Ziel activates the winch.
  426. RosenkrantzGM The winch tightens and pulls Chomun and his prisoner in close to the Aquila.
  427. Varenus_Grandier "Well, I didn't even need to get dirty!" he says with a laugh.
  428. Makh_Chomun pushes the prisoner inside the aquila and then pulls himself in. He then closes the hatch and tells Baine to re-pressurize the interior.
  429. RosenkrantzGM Your prisoner removes his helm as soon as the repressurization is complete.
  430. Varenus_Grandier "Hello sir." he says casually
  431. RosenkrantzGM He says something to you, while emphasizing with motions to his device.
  432. Baine_Mort finishes re-pressurizing the interior and sets course for the Aurora.
  433. Lucrezia "Uh... Caerwyn?"
  434. Neue-Ziel "Priest boy, translate."
  435. Caerwyn_Beraht "Alright alright! Not going to let me regain my fragile...ah, forget it. He wishes to purchase his freedom with the device...whatever it might be."
  436. Lucrezia "Mind asking him what it might be?"
  437. Caerwyn_Beraht turns to the man and begins to enunciate quite slowly, making big sweeping gestures with his arms. You gather he's trying to ask the man about the nature of the device.
  438. Neue-Ziel "Give me the device."
  439. RosenkrantzGM "Machine pacifier"
  440. RosenkrantzGM His Low Gothic is broken, with a thick accent.
  441. Lucrezia "Ask him about the station. Who's maning it?"
  442. Makh_Chomun keeps his bolt-pistol trained on the man.
  443. RosenkrantzGM He seems to understand the question. It's the speaking part that's a problem. He explains in his own dialect that the device allowed him to pacify the "docile beast", referring to your ship.
  444. Lucrezia "Where are you from? Who hired you?"
  445. RosenkrantzGM "Devidas." The answer requires no translation.
  446. Lucrezia "Tell me about Devidas. What does she want?"
  447. RosenkrantzGM He spits on the floor, and mutters, "Freedom," holding the device up.
  448. Lucrezia "Can't give you freedom. But I can give you a comfortable stay, if you cooperate."
  449. RosenkrantzGM He turns to the priest and explains that he could kill you all in a second. He wants guarantees before he talks.
  450. Lucrezia "Unlike your bitch of a boss, I like to keep my word."
  451. RosenkrantzGM He growls now, "Freedom."
  452. Caerwyn_Beraht "Look, friend, We would love to gurantee your liberty but we are merely solitary pillars in a massive sprawling complex called hierarchy. We need to bring this up with our boss first before we can start making promises. As a professional...surely you understand, yes?"
  453. Lucrezia turns to Caerwyn, somewhat surprised by his words.
  454. Caerwyn_Beraht turns to look at Lucrezia, and winks. "Nothing galvanizes the tongue like fear, eh?"
  455. RosenkrantzGM "Yes, I understand... your boss meets us here." he replies with a nod of certainty.
  456. Lucrezia speaks to Caerwyn through vox. +That was... a tad more mercenary than how you normally speak.+
  457. Makh_Chomun +Lord-Captain. The Prisoner wishes to talk to you...he seems to have a device on him that can bypass security measures on the ship. He wishes to bargain his life for it, and will only talk to you.+
  458. RosenkrantzGM +Wilhelm is overseeing an incident with the gunnery crews+ Heinrich replies.
  459. Neue-Ziel [Rogue Cant] "Lady Lucrezia, tell the Priest boy he did good."
  460. Makh_Chomun +M'lord Heinrich.+
  461. Makh_Chomun +It seems you will be the one to speak with him, then?+
  462. RosenkrantzGM +If you so wish. Will you be taking him in?+
  463. Makh_Chomun +...it seems he won't leave the ship. Could I ask you come down to the lighter bay?+
  464. RosenkrantzGM The prisoner touches a series of runes on the device, and the Aquila's engines stop. "Boss meets here, he repeats."
  465. Baine_Mort "The fuck?"
  466. Lucrezia grins a little and then smiles at Caerwyn. "Good job. You know, besides the freaking out a bit part."
  467. Baine_Mort tries the get the ship engines back on.
  468. Baine_Mort "Who the Fuck is back there messing with my engins?"
  469. RosenkrantzGM The ignition systems restart the engines.
  470. Baine_Mort sees that the engines have restarted and continuous course for the ship.
  471. Makh_Chomun with a quickness like lightning Makh slams the butt of his pistol into the back of the prisoners head, knocking him out instantly.
  472. Makh_Chomun "Got tired of his shit."
  473. Baine_Mort +Whats going on back there? And what caused the engines to go offline?+
  474. Neue-Ziel +Don't worry about it.+
  475. Baine_Mort +Chomun?+
  476. RosenkrantzGM +Master Mort, you are clear for landing+
  477. Neue-Ziel +The prisoner is out cold.+
  478. Baine_Mort +This is Mort copy that, making my approach now, Ave Imperator.+
  479. Lucrezia takes the device for safekeeping.
  480. RosenkrantzGM The bay opens up, and the landing pad is cleared for your final descent.
  481. Makh_Chomun restraints the mans hands and legs with some cable until he can get some real restraints on him. +Get some proper restraints for the prisoner, I want him searched and locked up for interrogation as soon as possible.+ Makh orders over the comms.
  482. Baine_Mort maneuvers the Aquila into the hanger and lands.
  483. RosenkrantzGM As soon as you land, a troop of Armsmen flood into the hangar, still on high-alert.
  484. Baine_Mort opens up the boarding ramp and exits the Aquila.
  485. Neue-Ziel +[Rogue Cant] Bring the device to my office, Lady Lurezia. We need to examine it as soon as possible.+
  486. RosenkrantzGM Lieutenant Dreiger leads the Armsmen, and stands waiting for orders.
  487. Caerwyn_Beraht stumbles out of the aquila, collapsing to his knees once he hits deckplate. Ina melodramatic display of relief, he lays kisses upon the cold deck plate. "Thank you, God-Emperor! THANK YOU!"
  488. Lucrezia +[Rogue Cant]I will once the prisoner is secured, Mister Ziel.+
  489. Makh_Chomun throws the man over his shoulder and exits down the ramp. He then hands the man off to one of his armsmen. "Have him thoroughly searched, /thoroughly/, and have him chained and locked up until his interrogation."
  490. RosenkrantzGM "Yes, sir!" Dreiger salutes, and motions for his men to do as commanded. Manacles are attached to his wrists and ankles.
  491. Lucrezia then follows Caerwyn and laughs before patting him on the back. "Told you we'd make it."
  492. Baine_Mort "I hope you enjoyed the ride priest boy."
  493. Caerwyn_Beraht shoots to his feet and wraps his arms around Lucrezia, embracing her tightly. "Thank the God-Emperor you-" A sharp *Ahem* interrupts him. He turns around and sees Tao Xen standing there, arms folded, DEFINITELY not amused.
  494. Caerwyn_Beraht scrambles away from Lucrezia. "Ah...Tao. You missed a bit of fun. Ha ha." He grins sheepishly.
  495. Neue-Ziel heads towards his office.
  496. Caerwyn_Beraht The woman shakes her head and stalks off. Caerwyn stands there, feeling a tad foolish
  497. Lucrezia turns around and removes her helmet. "Was just keeping him safe while you were gone!"
  498. Baine_Mort approaches Chomun, "That was some impressive skills back there."
  499. Makh_Chomun "Have fun boys!" Makhs yells after the Armsmen.
  500. Makh_Chomun "Thank you, Mr. Mort. Boarding is my job after all, and nobody escapes the Savage."
  501. Makh_Chomun "That was also some impressive flying on your part."
  502. Baine_Mort "Thank you, I look forward to the next time we do that. The adrenalin rush was exciting."
  503. Makh_Chomun "As much fun as I had, perhaps not that exact thing again." Makh says with a grin.
  504. Lucrezia then approaches Chomun and Baine. "You two did some pretty impressive stuff back there. Remind me to share some drinks with you both when things calm down."
  505. Baine_Mort "Yea, though we need to take the priest boy on more space flights like that, get his feet more wet." Baine says grinning.
  506. Makh_Chomun "I'm always happy to share drinks and share stories whenever I have the time, dear sister. And thank you. Been some time since I've had a proper boarding action."
  507. Caerwyn_Beraht joins the forming group. "I think I coudl go for a stiff drink right now. HEad off the brutal vituperation I am no doubt going to endure in the near future."
  508. Caerwyn_Beraht "And...I'll definitely pass on the space flight."
  509. Baine_Mort "But you will miss out on all the fun then."
  510. Makh_Chomun brings the priest boy into a one-armed hug and shakes him about. "Aw come on, brother! That was just the beginning!"
  511. Makh_Chomun "Wait 'til we get to some proper ship on ship boarding actions!"
  512. Lucrezia "Maybe we should take him in steps... That may have been a tad too crazy."
  513. Caerwyn_Beraht "A *tad* too crazy? That's a lovely understatement you just made, Lucrezia. If I'm going to fight, it's going to be with solid ground beneath me. Or at least solid deckplate."
  514. Baine_Mort "Don't worry priest boy, we will make a true flying space priest out of you soon enough."
  515. Caerwyn_Beraht leans back and sighs. Clearly this is not a battle he is going to win.
  516. RosenkrantzGM ++ATMOSPHERIC VENTS DEPRESSURIZING GUN-COMPARTMENT 12-Delta B IN T-MINUS 5 MINUTES++ the laud-hailers echo the message throughout the ship.
