  1. You groan, trying to brush off the second hand embarrassment you're experiencing from being in this restaurant. There's a smell of burnt meat and overcooked pasta polluting the air, making you want to puke. It's been far too long since you've been in such a low quality restaurant, and or had a date. Big twenty-eight this year, and you haven't dated someone since you were twenty-five. Working at Mann.Co puts you off having to spend quality time with people, whether it be you hate them or completely adore them, you just get over it.
  2.
  3. It wasn't your idea to go on this date, your co-workers had already set the date up. You aren't even sure who you are even here for. Set up on a blind date by one of your co-workers isn't something you wanted to do. But what were you suppose to do? Bail out on the date? A true gentleman would never do that, without calling in advance of course. Your manners truly will be the death of you.
  4.
  5. You approached the front servers desk of the restaurant, facing the obvious under-paid waiter. After a minute of silence, the waiter finally notices you and speaks up.
  6. "Welcome to Antonio's , how may I help you?", you almost believed for a second there, that he enjoyed working here, from the tone of his voice, but you can immediately tell from how long it took him to respond, and his roughly tied tie, that he doesn't want to work here.
  7. "Uh, yes, I have a reservation , table for two under.-" You take out the card Holly slipped into your pocket , unfolding it and reading it quickly before saying aloud,
  8. "Blind date." You almost crush up the paper in your hand, knowing it was a blind date was embarrassing enough, but having to say it aloud was an unbelievable amount of embarrassment. The waiter goes to snicker, and your glare at him, his face falling instantly.
  9. "Right this way sir."
  10.
  11. Following the Waiter, you keep a tight grip around the slip of paper. Your table is quite far away from the front of the restaurant, further to the back where there isn't as many people. You see 3 tables, two of them are empty, and the one at the end of the row of tables has someone sitting at it, you can't quite make out who they may be, but whoever it is they are undoubtedly male. You expect the waiter to stop at one of the two tables, but he instead leads you to the occupied table. "Sir, here is your table, i'll come by later and take your order when ready." Saying that he walks away and you sit down and- oh my god. No , this can't be, is that. Fucking hell Holly.
