  4. [2013-10-01 20:22:09] <Falconis> You follow the sound of fists impacting sandbags to the on site Gym. The building is filled with soldiers and pokemon, hitting training equipment and each other or running around the gyms indoor track. Multiple obstacles are set up all around the building, their goal to push trainers to the limit, and push them past it.

[2013-10-01 20:23:14] <Falconis> In the center of the gym stands a burly American man wearing combat boots, fatigue pants and a camo tank top with the word 'GUTS' printed in huge letters on the back. He sips on a glass of ice cooled lemonade as he watches two crabby duke it out with boxing gloves on their claws

Making sure both herself and her pokemon where healed up she had head for the GUTS GYM to take the challenge. To those whom knew her, she had a few new items on. A pair of comfortable boots and a long curved claw hanging from a necklce.

  12. [2013-10-01 20:27:07] <Dinah> "Mmm I figured I need a little practice, This new sword still feels Stiff. Thought I'd give it a challenge"
  13. [2013-10-01 20:28:00] <Jay> He rolls his shoulders, resettling the new camouflage backpack on his back with the egg nestled safely inside. "Sounds fun. Haven't been kicked around in a couple days now. Need a hand?"
  14. [2013-10-01 20:28:54] <Dinah> "Let's find out how many people the challenge will accept, if more then one sure. Why not"

  16. [2013-10-01 20:29:26] <Falconis> You head towards the center of the gym to the man who seems to be the Gym leader, as you approach he looks you up and down. He nods in satisfaction and then grins wickedly.

  19. [2013-10-01 20:29:50] * Dinah looks over the oh so relaxed American "I heard we can kick ass and get prizes, lay it out for me and my partner wouldja"
  20. [2013-10-01 20:31:26] <Falconis> He chuckles "What spunk. You two must be the other half of that elite team I've been hearing about. If the other two are anything to go by you all could use some GUTS, but I guess that's why you're here."

  22. [2013-10-01 20:32:04] * Dinah looks him up and down, looks down at the sword peeking out over her hip, and then looks back at him. "Gathering Guts seems... Messy" she says in a deadpan
  23. [2013-10-01 20:32:34] <Jay> Jay chuckles quietly.
  24. [2013-10-01 20:32:40] <Falconis> He falters for a moment and his grin dims as he tries to figure out what you're talking about
  25. [2013-10-01 20:32:46] <Falconis> then he frowns and huffs
  26. [2013-10-01 20:33:07] <Falconis> "I am Phil, leader of the GUTS GYM. The GUTS GYM welcomes all challengers, but there are some rules"
  27. [2013-10-01 20:34:18] <Falconis> "Here at the GUTS GYM, trainers get involved in the scuffle as well, not just pokemon. We lay it down here, hand to hand, no funny business. You can't always depend on tricks and tools to get you by, and you won't always have your pokemon with you"

  38. [2013-10-01 20:38:10] * Dinah removed her blades and attaches the sheathes to her bag.
  39. [2013-10-01 20:38:38] <Falconis> A vein pulses on his forehead "Heh heh, a wiseguy eh? Well if you have the stones to back up yer lip, then lets get started"
  40. [2013-10-01 20:39:13] <Dinah> "Since i'm weaponless, May i have a moment to prepare myself at least?"
  41. [2013-10-01 20:39:55] <Falconis> He sighs and takes a relaxed stance again "Take as much time as you want missy, Phil ain't forcing nobody to fight"
  42. [2013-10-01 20:40:26] <Falconis> He sips the almost forgotten Lemonade in his hands
  43. [2013-10-01 20:40:54] * Dinah takes a somewhat low to the ground stance, balanced as she smiles at him. Taking a moment to smack her fists together.

  46. [2013-10-01 20:42:15] <Falconis> The Krabby with the blue gloves dodges to the side and grabs his rival in a vicegrip. With a krablike skitter and a 'KRAB' he slams the red gloved opponent into the mat in a Gilbertine attack

  51. [2013-10-01 20:44:46] * Dinah slips one of her pokeballs from her belt, spinning it casually as she waits, shifting and bouncing from foot to foot obviously pumped for a fight
  52. [2013-10-01 20:45:45] <Falconis> Phil nods and throws his Glass into the air "Then let the challenge" he whips his leg around in a roundhouse shattering the glass and simultaneously releasing two pokemon, a Duo of Machoke who smile wanly at you two "BEGIN"
