Smash Brothers email dated June 7th

Hey, there this is the current information I have. The information can change especially clones and dates. There might be more than the current information I can provide you but it entirely depends on if they finish or not. As you and everyone already know about Inkling here is everyone else. My contact will not provide pictures as he says they have their cellphones taken away while at work.

E3 will feature Ridley and a cloned Daisy. Not sure about the new names for clones but they are rebranded. She is a clone of Peach. Ridley is the biggest character in the game but not much bigger than Bowser. Ridley's trailer most focuses on Samus and Ridley but other characters will disappear because of Ridley. You will also see plenty of returning characters. I won't spoil who.

There will be a direct later in early to mid-August featuring Richter Belmont and his clone Simon. The clone shown will be Dark Samus and Chrom. Chrom might be replaced by someone from a Fire Emblem game releasing next year if Nintendo gets their way. At the end, they will show K Rool he has no alts but his pirate hat gets put on when he uses his gun. He also has his mini helicopter thing from the third donkey kong country. In the trailers, you will notice Simon's has a big focus on the moon. In K Rool's there will be a huge sun in the background. This is intentional hints about the future. Gamescom from what I heard may have a clone reveal from one of the later months revealed if they are able to add more clones.

Next, there will be a Nintendo direct in either September or October about new online features coming to Nintendo. It will end with the Prince of Sablé and Dixie Kong as a clone of Diddy. He has three forms and will function similar to Pokemon Trainer. His forms are frog, human, and snake. They will also be remaking his game for who the frog bell tolls but it will be released worldwide. The truth is it will have not even started development by then as Sakurai will be making it like his Kid Icarus reboot.

For late October there is a smash direct focusing on a theme of the Sun and Moon. The Sun from K Rool's trailer will be shown rising and Isaac from Golden Sun will be shown. I don't have much information on his trailer at the amount other than that. Later on, there will be Buzzwole from Pokemon: Sun and Moon shown off. He was specifically chosen due to being one of the new beast pokemon similar to how Charizard would get his form from X and Y last game. Clones such as Hilda for Zelda(Who is newly designed to fit Hilda better.), Matthew of Dark Dawn although Felix was originally intended but Nintendo intervened, and they are still deciding who will be Shulk's clone but Dunban is the preferred choice although a growing number of staff want Cross. Malos has also been listed as a candidate.

There will be a final direct two weeks before the game's release in December. It will be entirely 3rd party focused. Heihachi Mishima from Tekken will be representing Bandai Namco who is developing the game. His reveal trailer is planned to be him fighting Ryu whom he defeats and then faces Akuma who will be a clone of Ryu. Besides Akuma, another clone will be shown later named Shadow from the Sonic series. There will also be many new 3rd party trophies including Lloyd Irving from tales of series, Chun-Li of street fighter, Bomberman of Bomberman, Zero from Megaman, Rodin from Bayonetta, Alucard from Castlevania, Gil from Tower of Duraga, Knuckles from Sonic, a monster from Monster Hunter, Shovelknight, Akira Yuki and Jacky Bryant from Virtua Fighter, and the surprising ones....Steve from Minecraft and Mumbo from Banjo-Kazooie. Those two will be shown just before Banjo-Kazooie is revealed.

There won't be anyone from recent games here besides Buzzwole since the team had advance knowledge and knew the game would sell well. If there are more clones they have put up choices such as Blood Falcon, Louie, and Ninten as first priorities. I don't have much on Pokeball Pokemon I am afraid other than they will try and bring in quite a few new ones from Sun and Moon. There is no Square-Enix content besides Cloud and his stage. Square-Enix didn't' want to have Cloud return except as dlc because they want 50% of the profits. Banjo-Kazooie has been brought in because of Square-Enix saying they will only allow more content in as dlc. Nintendo had to pay a lot to get him back. There is a new mode not yet named that contains the bosses as well as a way to unlock playable characters. Trophies are also gone and replaced with something in the new mode. Nintendo wants to have a major focus on dlc after release and is discussing plans for a season pass similar to Street Fighter 5 that would add a few characters and stages every year. This would also include free clone characters patched into the game. Sakurai will not be involved as he will be moved to the Prince Sable reboot. Trailers can change because although they plan them ahead sometimes they are changed later on.
