far out in the distant rim of the galaxy, a large meteor flies through the cosmos before breaking apart upon entering the namekian planetary layer. Inside the meteor, several small stones are sent hurling into the planet
upon the landing of the stones all scanners across the galaxy see a large power source appear on their scanners located from the planet Namek, for those without scanners a powerful force is felt from base sense telling them of the planetary
disturbance. Unbeknownst to the denizens of Namek a secret cultist lay preparing a ritual most foul, and with the appearance of the sacred stones the gears have been set in motion as he begins to gather his mana for his ancient ritual
