  1. Christmas Eve. A time for friends and family to come together for reasons social and spiritual. To share, to laugh, to imbibe, and occasionally to fight too. A truly special time to spend with those you care about.
  2.
  3. But you really can't be assed to care about things like that right now. It’s dark. It’s cold. And you’re just arriving at home after your boss, one Tempest Shadow, kept you over for an end-of-year project. The only reason you’re not too worried about the cold is because being in the same room as her is the equivalent of stuffing yourself in an icebox. She’s just so aloof. It’s kind of cool. Figurative, not literal.
  4.
  5. A distant clock chimes long enough to let you know that a new day is only an hour away and pull you out of your reverie. Doubtless Ms. Shadow will want some extra work from you tomorrow as well, but for now you’re focused on getting inside your home. Shaking off the bitter cold on your doorstep, you fumble with your keys, muttering to yourself all the while.
  6.
  7. “Get inside, warm up with a bottle, sleep to tomorrow beside beautiful wife.”
  8.
  9. A good plan, one worthy of your brilliance. Totally not what your nightly routine has been since the temperature dropped. At last, your numbed fingers at last get the key to turn the tumblers and you push your way inside. Glorious central heating greets you like an old friend, bringing a smile to your previously sour face.
  10.
  11. “Oh yeah, the good stuff,” you sigh, rubbing your hands together, then pressing them on your face and ears. “Ahhh…”
  12.
  13. Your reverie is interrupted by a loud, cracking 'POP’ that rings out from the living room. Not bothering to take off your coat, you move toward the sound and find the embers of a fire still glowing. The lights are dimmed, but you can see a covered form squirm underneath a heavy quilt on the couch. Rolling your eyes as the fire hazard, you move over to the covered body and give it a gentle shake.
  14.
  15. “Hey. Sunny.”
  16.
  17. “No…” the woman beneath gives a plaintive whine as chilly air slips into her tightly wound quilten nest. It takes another shake, but the redhead's eyes flutter open. Her pout drops as soon as she catches sight of your face.
  18.
  19. “Hunny!” she squeals, flinging her arms around your neck and nearly pulling you on top of her. Oblivious to the near accident, she carries on without a pause. “I was waiting forever for you to come him tonight! I had dinner and a fire and a Christmas Surprise all ready for you and then you said you'd be late, so I stayed up but it was cold and-”
  20.
  21. Laughing, you press your finger to her lips. She continues to try and form a few muffled words, but when you shake your head and tell her, “It's alright, I understand. I'm home now,” she lapses into silence. After a moment, she pushes your finger away and presses her lips against yours.
  22.
  23. It would be suitably Christmassy to say that the kiss was sweet, and kind, and brief. That's how Halmark does it after all. But Sunset Shimmer is not that type of girl. Even if she does love their movies.
  24.
  25. No, Sunset's kisses are a reflection of herself. Strong, eager, and hungry. When she pushes her tongue into your mouth, you let her in without any protest. Her fingers dig into your scalp as small, needy sounds mingle with the wet, sloppy chorus of your joined lips.
  26.
  27. Not that you are much for subtle, sweet moments either. Your hand sides down the quilt, taking large and gropeworthy handfuls of your wife beneath when the mood strikes. The covering heavy as it is, can’t stop your eager palms from finding her generous curves, earning you the cutest little moans into your shared kiss. Sunset’s even kind enough to spread her legs and let you got your knee in between. The additional leverage this position provides soon had you looming over her smaller frame. Sunset at last relents, breaking the kiss and looking up at you.
  28.
  29. Flushed and struggling for air, it's a wonder that a small voice manages to slip past her lips, “Did, did you get everything done for Ms. Shadow?”
  30.
  31. “I'd rather not think about work right now,” you reply, moving in for another kiss. This time, Sunset is your one to stop you with a pout.
  32.
  33. “That means no,” she says with a heavy sigh. “... When does she want you back?”
  34.
  35. “... Tomorrow morning.”
  36.
  37. An overstretched rubber band had nothing on Sunset's snap. “On Christmas!? Oh. My. Gawd I cannot stand that woman! She ruins everything!”
  38.
  39. “Come on Sunny Bunny,” you smile. “It will only be for a couple hours, I'm sure.”
  40.
  41. “It's the principle!” Sunset simmers, her plump lips set into a puffy line. “That bitch always asks you to do overtime when we have plans. She's trying to split us up and steal you away from me!”
  42.
  43. Resigning yourself to the uncomfortable conversation, you slide on that couch next to her. “I know out might seem that way, but I really am one of the few people Ms. Shadow can trust at work. And it's not like she really knows any better; she's been alone for years.”
  44.
  45. “... Do you think she's hot?”
  46.
  47. Your blood runs cold as the Eye of Slighted Sunset fixes itself upon you. The once comforting glow of embers now provide a backdrop for a desolate future involving you spending Christmas Eve, and beyond, relegated to the couch.
  48.
  49. Gulping away the fear, you try to keep your tone even, confident. “You know you're the only one for me, Sun-”
  50.
  51. “Answer. Honestly. I'll know if you're fibbing.” True enough. Sunset always has had a knack for knowing if you were hiding something. Sensing your trepidation, she makes a small sound and shifts her weight. Rocking forward onto her feet, she lets the quilt fall away as she positions herself in front of you.
  52.
  53. The best you can do is breathe her name as your eyes run over the lines of her body with ever increasing fervor. You hadn't been sure with the quilt in the way, but there is now no way to deny her state of undress. Her middle is completely bare, showing the firm, but not overdeveloped, lines of her abdomen. There’s a metallic glint from her navel, her mistletoe piercing bouncing about as she cocks her hip to the side.
  54.
  55. And what a hip! Broad, eye-catching, and leading down to a pair of deliciously healthy thighs. And a fuzzy red and white garter straining across them to boot? Your fingers flex out of instinct, wanting to grab the meat of her leg and tease it mercilessly. Gradually your eyes lift back up, past the skinny straps of her red g-string, over her belly again, and up to the bare bottoms of her breasts.
  56.
  57. From here you can see Sunset’s cheeks start to color, her unsteady breathing straining the already ill-fitting top and threatening to spill two delicious mounds of tit out to the world. Other than that, the red and white top is decent, no cleavage, and even long sleeves. But, like a well-wrapped present, you just want to tear into her. Having taken the time to drink her in, you feel a renewed sense of purpose, and meet her with a smile.
  58.
  59. “Well, she’s not unattractive.”
  60.
  61. Sunset pouts, crossing her arms under her chest. You count your blessings in that a lesser woman might have gone off on you just for that but, true to form, your wife is waiting to hear the rest of what you’re keeping from her. Seeing no point in keeping her in suspense, you continue.
  62.
  63. “But if I was just to go by looks, you would blow her out of the water. If I wanted a sweetheart, she’d never stand a chance. And, I think you could manage to be a badder bitch than her, if you put your mind to it.”
  64.
  65. A gentle giggle escapes the redhead’s lips as she rolls her eyes. But the edge of her lip is curling up into a familiar smile. You don’t say another word, and instead extend a hand up to her. Her cheeks color again as she swings her hips and approaches you again. “Gawd, you’re such a smooth talker, Hunny. Be grateful that I’m patient with you.”
  66.
  67. “Every day,” you whisper, pulling your sweetheart on top of you. She cradles your cheeks in her hands, her hot, nearly naked sex settled firmly against your crotch. Sunset gives you another kiss, this time a little shorter, a little sweeter, and smiles.
  68.
  69. “You know, I had planned to eat dinner, have a little bedtime fun and the cuddle up with you tonight. I was going to spend all of tomorrow getting railed.” Placing her fingers under your chin, she giggles. “I guess we need to move that time table up, don’t you think?”
  70.
  71. “I can manage that,” you reply with a grin. After all, sleep isn’t really that big a deal, right?
  72.
  73. “Good, then let’s get that coat off and you can open this present early!”
  74.
  75. ===
  76.
  77. Outside the window, Tempest Shadow turns to a rather cheery looking young woman. “There is absolutely no way that he has that woman as a wife.”
  78.
  79. The frizzy haired woman nods in excitement, sending her whole body jiggling from the tops of her oversized breasts all the way down to her almost chunky thighs. “That’s where you’re wrong Tempy!”
  80.
  81. “What did I say about that?”
  82.
  83. “See, Sunset is his sweetie and has been for years,” the woman continues, undeterred by the older woman’s irritation. “That’s why you could never get him to consider throwing you down and having his way with you, even when you’re both alone.” A brief pause as the pink-haired bimbo looks Tempest up and down. “I mean, aside from the fact that you’re practically a stick.”
  84.
  85. Tempest grits her teeth and takes a swipe at the woman. Her hand passes right through, earning a laugh from the chubby cutie that only infuriates Tempest further. “Dreadful spirit,” she spits.
  86.
  87. “Ooh, they're really going at it,” the pink-haired woman laughs, leaning up close to the window. “At this rate, you might need to set aside some paternity leave for him in the fall!”
  88.
  89. “I’ve had enough,” the furious female snaps. “How much longer must we stay and watch this, scene?”
  90.
  91. “Aw, don’t act like your gash isn’t gushing at this lovely-dovey scene,” the spirit teases. Tempest’s mouth twitches as a loud voice carries out from the house.
  92.
  93. “Oh fuck, Hunny!”
  94.
  95. “Enough! Take me to the next location, or I shall walk there myself!”
  96.
  97. “Fiiiiiine,” the spirit sighs, grabbing the disembodied Tempest by the hand and actually making contact this time. “Our next stop is a good friend of yours. You remember Twilight, right?”
  98.
  99. “...Oh no…”
  100.
  101. A brilliant flash of light and the two spectres are gone, leaving the oblivious lovebirds to continue their Christmas celebration in private.
  102.
  103. Such is the nature of the season: people come and go. But for you and Sunset, there’s far more coming in store than going. At least until tomorrow.
