>Allies pushing the Nazis back into Germany in World War 2
>Army group comes across an abandoned camp
>Camp is surrounded by barbed wire fences and guard towers, but only up to three feet
>The recon elements enter the camp and find it's unguarded
>A huge muddy hole in the earth has been hastily dug in the middle of the camp
>Heaps of fluffy pony corpses surround it, as though the Nazis were interrupted in the middle of burying them
>From the block houses, emaciated, balding fluffy ponies with hollow eyes can be seen lingering
>One mouths the word fwend, but has not the energy to speak
>American command befuddled as to why the Nazis wasted so much effort with the camps
>Order surviving fluffies bulldozed into the open mass grave and buried so the camp can be repurposed
>Tanks are brought in with plows to sweet the blockhouses
>Fluffy ponies are too weak to do anything but hobble, many just stare dead-eyed as the plows come toward them
>Sweeped into the pit atop their dead brethren
>Raspy mewling and begging comes up from the pit
>Soldiers begin to bury them
>Days later, as army command sets up their tents on the former camp site, a soldier finds something fluffy poking through the earth
>He pulls it up to find an emaciated fluffy pony in a little striped uniform
>It almost dug its way to freedom
>The soldier takes the pony's little striped cap
>to keep his tobbacco in
