Metallo ran to the center of Planet Square and grasped the monumental
steel sculpture designed to represent Earth. It stood over fifteen stories high
and weighed tons, but Metallo tore it from its base and lifted it over his
head as though it were a beach ball. SKRRRANKCH! Hurling the enormous
sphere at Superman, Metallo screamed again, “DIE!”
FWAMP! Though the force of the globe knocked Superman back, he
caught the sphere and set it down in an open part of the plaza.
