run jack as user, not as root
try using qjackctl

adjust
/etc/security/limits.d/audio.conf
if required (for realtime audio only !!)


disable autospawn in /etc/pulse/client.conf
and stop pulseaudio
pulseaudio --kill

install pulseaudio-module-jack
