Covet: Stupid IMVU crashing
Covet: -Eli was by the claw machine, feeding quarters throught the device, only to have it not respond correctly. He furrowed his brow and reached around the back to un plug it, then plug it back in. The Cannister with all the change was open as well as the glass door for the toy bin.-  C'mon, it can't be that complicated to get this back up and running.
Tsaaq: Bliss was at the counter with one of her headphones in as she stared down at her phone. She would look up periodically to glance at Eli at the claw machine before trying to look like she was busy doing phone things.
Covet: -Watching the machine light back up he tried to feed a couple more quarters into it with no luck still. He took a screw driver out of the bucket of random tools for the machines and started fiddling with the money receptacle thing, where the wires attach and give the signal to the machine. Moving it around in there, with really no idea what he was doing he hit a loose wire and felt a zap through his arm that made him jump and spaz in place, while the lights gave a quick flicker- Owwww... Okay, No more with that. I'm done. -He dropped the screwdriver and shook his hand out still feeling the electricity through his hand and arm.-
Alexithymiaa: (Eli: Let me stick this fork in this here outlet.)
Covet: [HEY, He didn't know there was a loose wire! XD He can't see in there]
Tsaaq: "Be careful." She called to him gently before lowering her head once more, rearranging things on the counter hurriedly.
Tsaaq: ((He's gonna get powers.))
Alexithymiaa: -Adam stepped out of the archive room after having spent a stupid amount of time in there organizing and cleaning up and shit. Rolling up the sleeves of his hoodie because he was probably warm and shit, he stepped down into the rest of the shop, seeing the crane machine kind of just open. "Uh... everything okay with this?"-
Covet: Yeah... Rubber gloves or something should be worn when handling this. -He said mumbling, aggitated by getting shocked, because electricity sucks. He looked over at Adam and shook his head- I think it's toast...or needs a repairman that knows what they're doing. Because it just tried to turn me into toast.
Covet: [Eli's not that cool. XD]
Tsaaq: Bliss bit the inside of her lip as she watched Eli with a worrisome eye. She swallowed hard as she moved from behind the counter and cautiously approached the two of them. "Should we telephone the company?" She asked as she looked between Adam and Eli.
Alexithymiaa: -He frowned because he didnt want bad shit to happen to Eli. He likes Eli. Eli is good peeps. "I could take a look?" He asked, but not really because he was already moving toward the machine again. He knelt down in front of the open door of the bottom, peering inside. "What exactly is it doing?"-
Covet: -He looked over as Bliss walked up- Yeah, I'll put it on the books for the morning. They're probably closed already tonight. Until then we're going to need an out of order sign. -He said and reached around the back again to unplug it, then stopped when Adam came to look at it.- It's not registering when the money's going into the collection bin. So it's just stealing money from people.
Tsaaq: She nodded her head at Eli. "I'll write a note so you can remember." She told him before watching Adam and shaking her head. "Oh are you sure it's wise to keep fiddling around with it?" She asked quickly.
Alexithymiaa: "Where's your flashlight?" He asked so matter of factly because who looks into a machine without a fucking flashlight? He nodded his head to Bliss. "I'm not going to do anything I'm not sure of."-
Covet: Here in the bucket. -Eli said reaching in to grab it, handing it to him- I mean... Maybe not, but so long as he's careful. -He said hesitantly, looking at Bliss-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head with acceptance as she watched Adam peeking into the machine, she refused to move from her spot. "Just be careful I suppose..." She whispered, doing her best not to meddle.
Alexithymiaa: -He took the flashlight and turned it on, shining the beam of light into the machine and looking around at the insides. "Somethings probably just not making connection. So all we have to do is find it and reconnect it." He gently stuck his hand inside the machine, grazing the loose wire and having it send a small zap through his fingers. "Ow."-
Alexithymiaa: (Im having a very 'how many men does it take to screw in a lightbulb?' moment)

Covet: See, I told you. It has it out for mankind. It's tasted human flesh and now it's going to want more. -Eli said being semi-dramatic and imaginitive, moving closer to Bliss, because he'd been zapped already once- Can you do that with what we have here?
Tsaaq: Bliss cringed once Adam was zapped. "You'd need proper tools to do that, right?" She said quickly before looking over at Eli. "Right?" Bliss asked again. "Somebody could get hurt. Maybe you should unplug it then try?"
Covet: [That would be the smart thing to do though Bliss. They are guys. XD]

Alexithymiaa: -Adam pulled his hands back out of the machine because ow, turning to look down into the bucket of tools they had. It's just wires so if we have pliers, I can just clamp them back together. At least temporarily." he looked up a Bliss a little dumbfounded when she mentioned turning the machine off first. "Oh yeah... we should do that." // Neil walked up and into the shop casually, just kind of strolling along because he hadnt heard from Eli since before they left for Florida. He saw the group huddled around the machine and walked over to stand behind them silently, looking down at what they were working on when he heard his son. "It looks like it's more of a 'turn humans into robots' type of machine, don't you think so?"-
Covet: Yes, That's exactly it. -Eli said looking at his dad- Hey Dad, what brings you by? -He asked before looking at Bliss- Good thinking My Dear. -He said and leaned back to unplug the machine while Adam worked on it.- I think those things are in there. The're's some electical tape in there too. -Eli told him-
Tsaaq: She brought her hand to her chest as she let out an exhale of relief. She glanced to the door with a laugh and then waved. "Good evening Professor Cohen." Bliss greeted him quietly before looking down at her feet a moment.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam forced a smile up at Neil when he chimed in, reaching into the bucket to grab the pliers before sticking the flashlight back inside the game, positioning the pliers inside as well while he tried to search for the loose wire. // Neil laughed and crossed his arms over his chest, watching them not be confident in what theyre doing. "You didn't let me know when you guys got back. Also, your mother made dinner and the smell of the kitchen was making me nauseous." He leaned over to study what Adam was doing. "Evening Bliss. Did you enjoy your trip?"-
Covet: Oh, sorry I didn't mean to not tell you. We got in yesterday, and just wanted to relax the two of us. Sorry about dinner though. -Eli cringed, then watched Adam as well, sliding his arm around Bliss's shoulders- Everything working okay there?
Tsaaq: "Oh, I'm sure she was trying her best." She muttered in reference's to Mrs. Cohen's meals. Bliss, caught off guard opened her mouth to speak then pouted. "Oh, yes. It was loads of fun. We had a great time." She told him with a slow nod. "Right. We were so befuddled from the travel I suppose, we spent most of the day laying about." Bliss quickly chimed in an attempt to explain. "Didn't mean to worry you."
Alexithymiaa: "Doing alright." Adam spoke in a bit of a strained voice, keeping his bare fingers away from the wires as he clamped them down together and twisted the pliers, hooking the wires together and pulling his limbs free of the machine. "Okay, plug it back in and try it now." // Neil winced as he watched Adam because he thought the kid was going to die. "Well I didnt see anything on the news about a downed plane, so I figured you were alright."-
Covet: Dad, Really? -Eli said at him shaking his head, moving to reach back around to plug the machine back in.- Okay you've got power again. Put a couple of quarters in and see if it works. -He said moving back to stand next to Bliss-
Tsaaq: Bliss nodded her head slowly. "Right." She whispered her eyes a little wide as she laughed at Neil.. She went to pat her pockets then shrugged. "I don't realy carry around quarters... That's what my coin purse is for." She muttered awkwardly.
Alexithymiaa: "I got it." He reached to take the quarters they were reusing to test the machine, sticking them into the little slot and watching the game credit on. He smiled a little proudly, sitting back on his feet. "Works." // "Oh, you need money?" He asked, pulling out his bill fold and flipping through a few dollars. "And.... nevermind, that's not what you need."-
Covet: Put your money away, Old Man. -Eli said with a laugh.- Unless you're going to buy something. Then you'll need that. Sorry, don't have a family discount here. -He said giving his dad shit-  Thanks Adam, that saves us a phone call and a bill. -Eli grinned feeling accomplished, even though all he did was get himself electrocuted, and put a plug in-
Tsaaq: "Oh! Fantastic!" She cheered as she smiled. "Right, one thing to not be worried about. Excelsior!" Bliss grinned before going to the counter once more with ease.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam replaced all the tools into the bucket and pushed up to his feet, closing up the machine. "You're welcome. It's pretty basic stuff. I used to help fix stuff like that for my moms all the time." // Neil moved his hand, running it down Eli's face. "Pipe down." He turned and headed over toward the front counter where Bliss stood, smiling at her. "How are you, sweetie?"-
Covet: -Eli smirked over at Bliss as she called out Excelsior, unable to help himself- I love when you say things like that, My dear. -He said then grabbed the tools, taking a cloth he had on the edge, he wiped down the machine so it was free of fingerprints and all that.- Hey, It's just one more thing that cements you here, Man. I'm not handy at all for this kind of stuff. I hate getting zapped. -He said with a chuckle, glancing over at Bliss and his Dad-
Tsaaq: She smiled over in Eli's direction, aiming to put in her ear buds once more before Neil came over. She looked up at him and forced a smile. "I'm fine, of course." Bliss answered softly before she frowned a little bit.
Alexithymiaa: -Dusting his hands off together, he smiled to Eli. "I appreciate that. Although in all fairness, I did get zapped too. I was just more successful in the longrun." // Neil leaned his arms down on the counter, watching Bliss' face. "You seem a little unsure."-
Covet: Yeah, well you were smarter and didn't do it with a screwdriver. That alone deserves commendation. -He laughed, and went to take the tool bucket back and put it under the counter. Grabbing the cleanning supplies, he leaned over and gave Bliss a kiss on the cheek, then looked at Adam- Closing stuff? We can get out of here maybe a little early tonight? -Eli walked back around the counter and headed for the tables to get them wiped down-
Tsaaq: "Oh um..." Bliss frowned, looking embarassed as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. She smiled once Eli came over but when back to her dubious expression once he walked away. "I'm trying my best to be fine, I suppose." She told him before shrugging.
Alexithymiaa: "On it!" Adam called out, grabbing the broom ffrom the corner and beginning to sweep the floor. // "That's all anyone can ever ask." Neil smiled genuinely at her before looking up, looking around the shop. "Cleaning up? That's my cue to take off. But why don't you two come by for dinner one night this week. Promise, I'll be the one cooking." He held up his right hand to swear on it, letting out a laugh. "Have a goodnight!" He turned, making his way throught he shop to the exit.-
Covet: -Eli looked at his Dad, then at Bliss- Uh sure, How does Thursday work? Do we have plans on Thursday? -He asked trying to remember, then watched as his Dad walked out- I guess I'll just text that to him. -He said with a laugh and went back to wiping down the tables-
Tsaaq: "It's always a pleasure to be a guest in your home Professor Cohen." She said with a smile. She looked at her phone then nodded. "No plans Thursday." Bliss said quickly. "I was just about to suggest it-" She looked up and saw Neil had left. "Oh alright." She smiled, going to count the till.
Alexithymiaa: -He swept his dirt into a pile in the corner, moving back behind the counter to grab the little dust pan. Sweeping the dirt into the pan, he tossed it out, replacing the broom and the dust pan. "I think that's everything."-
Covet: I wonder what Dad's going to make.  -Eli said outloud, then looked at Adam- Alright, sweet. Feel free to head out. Get home safe. -Eli said  finishing wiping things down and getting the computers shut down, before heading back over to the counter himself-
Tsaaq: She nodded and waved at him. "Have a good night Adam, thank you!" She called out before looking over at Eli. "I don't know but I'm sure it'll be good." She said optimistically.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam waved to the two of them before clocking out and making his way out of the shop to head out to his truck for home.-
Covet: -Eli waved as Adam headed out walking over to lock the door then made his way back over to the counter to Bliss, where he watched as she counted down the till.- Dad weird you out at all? -He asked her concerned that Neil had said something to make her feel awkward-
Tsaaq: "He asked me how I was feeling. It was simple enough... Nothing too vexing." Bliss replied. "It was nice, thoughtful if you will." She shrugged. "It was a little awkward though but I suppose that's my fault."
Covet: -He nodded his head and gave a soft smile- That's good, I'm glad. They really care for you too. But I'm sure my Dad didn't even notice if it was awkward. -Eli went to set up the security system, making sure everything was on lockdown-
Tsaaq: She went to gather up her things so she'd be ready to leave the store. She smiled at him while she watched him. "And I definitely appreciate it." She sighed. "Hopefully dinner with the family will help me feel better... Well, your family."
Covet: -Eli wrapped an arm around her and headed out through the back of the office setting the alarm for that door as well- The family is alright. I like that. You fit in and they're just as much your family as they are mine.
Tsaaq: "Right. Of course. I feel like family. The family then." She sighed softly and went to hold his hand as they went out of the building. "Upstairs for some cuddling and quality time?" She asked as she leaned on him a moment.
Covet: Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. -He said with a grin, giving her hand a squeeze walking up the stairs with her, where the did the cuddling and the things.-
