Ralsei x Anon Short: Nightmare Comfort Edition

>sleeping comfortably in bed with Ralsei
>in his own bed to be precise
>It's about as warm and fluffy as the gote himself, and you've had several good night's rest here, the best in your life by far
>suddenly wake up due to heavy stirring beside you, but you try to ignore it as just Ralsei getting more comfy
>until he lets out a sharp gasp and sits up, breathing rapidly, almost as if he is hyperventilating
>immediately open your eyes and turn to Ralsei, looking up at him as you try to get your own bearings
>you ask him what's wrong as you sit up with him
>he gasps and looks at you, a frightened look on his face, then he calms down a little
>"I... I-I'm sorry Anon, I didn't mean to wake you! I... I just had an... unpleasant dream is all..."
>he looks down at his shaky paws and sniffles a little
>comfort mode engaged
>you ask him softly what the dream was about, placing a hand on his paw and gently squeezing it
>he looks up at you, a look of worry on his face, but along with a light blush as well
>he takes a deep, shaky breath and explains his nightmare to you
>needless to say, it did indeed sound unpleasant.
>once he finishes, he looks a little better
>still shaky, but better
>you squeeze his paw again before wrapping the fluffy prince in a tight, protective hug, reassuring him that everything will be okay and that it was only a bad dream and nothing more
>he stiffens up for a moment, but quickly sinks into the hug
>you also reassure him that he will no longer have any nightmares while you're here.
>"...Th-thank you... Anon..."
>"...but how will you achieve that?"
>you can't help but smirk a bit
>get back into a comfy position in bed, Ralsei doing the same
>he faces away from you, a little confused but trusting of you
>he gasps as he feels your arms wrap around his slim, soft fluffy body
>pull yourself a little closer and hold him lovingly and protectively
>"A-anon...?"
>you quietly shush him and nuzzle the back of his head softlt
>he eventually accepts this and puts his paws on your arms, holding onto them as he gets comfy
>"G-goodnight, Anon…"
>Wake up the next morning
>feeling incredibly well rested and content
>you realize that you're can't really move at the moment
>look down
>Ralsei is nuzzled into your chest, arms and legs wrapped tightly around you, keeping you locked and at his fluffy mercy
>technically you could move him with absolutely no problem physically
>but…
>...
>that peaceful, content smile.
>his cute, almost silent snore
>you don't have it in you to wake him.
>instead, you brush away his fluffy ear from his face, causing him to nuzzle you and murmur silently in his sleep
>your heart is absolutely melting
>you can't help but plant a kiss on his forehead and continue to hold him
>you close your eyes
>the two of you had nothing to really do today anyway.
