- ==GYPSY WARES==
- MOB
- a dark-eyed Gypsy woman
- Festooned with brightly coloured scarves, a dark-eyed Gypsy woman is here with a basket of charms.
- This woman, with her swarthy skin and dark, knowing eyes, is difficult to place in terms of age. She has long, curly hair which is as black as pitch, held back from her face by a bright violet bandana. She wears traditional Gypsy clothes, and over those she is decorated with brightly coloured scarves and glittering gold jewellery. She holds a basket of charms for sale.
- ```````````
- a charm for strength
- A carved bone charm has fallen here.
- Rough and masculine in appearance, this charm is about the size of a gold sovereign, carved from unpolished bone. Around the edge of the disc are deeply engraved runes, and in the center is an image of a hammer. Black dye has been rubbed into the engravings to make them stand out, but this charm is otherwise undecorated, a small hole in the top allowing a leather cord to be looped through so that the charm may be worn about the neck.
- a charm for fertility
- A round eggshell charm is here.
- This charm has been cut from some kind of thick, blue-green eggshell which is so sturdy that it almost matches bone or seashell in hardness. It is a little bigger than a gold sovereign, and has been carved with runes and the image of a nest which brims with its own eggs. The eggshell has been polished to a shine, bringing up the natural colouration and contrast between it and the white of the layer beneath. A small hole in the top allows a leather cord to be strung through so that the charm may be hung about the neck.
- a maiden's charm
- A silver maiden's charm glimmers here.
- This charm is small, a disc of silver barely bigger than a thumbnail hanging on a thin chain. Unidentifiable runes have been etched into the edges, and the image of a bird in flight adorns the front, its tiny wings cut in careful detail. If worn by a young woman, it's said that one of these charms will prevent her from becoming pregnant, no matter what dalliances she may entertain.
- a charm for luck
- A black and red charm has been left here.
- Lightweight and disc shaped, this charm seems to have been carved from some form of ivory. It is perhaps half again as wide as a gold sovereign, and has been polished to a shine. Around the edge of the charm, a border has been etched and enameled with a pattern of red and black like that of a roulette wheel~; in the center, a pair of dice are depicted frozen in the act of tumbling, their enamel a bright red. A small hole has been bored through the top of the charm, allowing a thin leather thong to be looped through and used to wear the piece about the neck.
- a charm for wealth
- A polished green charm lies here.
- This charm is disc shaped, and about twice the diameter of a gold sovereign. It has been crafted from the shell of an encrustacean, the crab's stony back having been polished and smoothed to reveal a lime green gem marbled through with veins of gold. Mysterious runes have been etched into the disc all around the circumference, black ink having been rubbed into them to make them stand out against the bright background. In the center of the disc is carved the image of a pair of hands, palms up as if waiting for something to drop into them, and at the top is a small hole, through which is looped a leather thong so that the charm can be worn about the neck.

- ==CAENTOI WARES==
- MOB
- a fat Caentoi merchant
- Resplendent in his finery, this Caentoi merchant lounges amongst his wares.
- It's clear from this Caentoi merchant's manner and dress that both his wallet and his waistline are very well padded. He is dressed richly in traditional Caentoi garb; his loose, draping trousers and heavily embroidered vest are sewn from opulently patterned fabric, and his undershirt is plain but expensive linen. His fur is sleek and well-groomed, and his clawed hands rest comfortably on an extravagant money belt which drips with studs and locks.
- ```````````
- a Caentoi money-belt
- A colourful Caentoi money-belt lies here.
- Where other money belts might be designed with being inconspicuous and thus less attractive to pickpockets, this belt has been crafted in the Caentoi style, which prescribes a much different approach. The belt itself is made from thick leather, dyed a blazing red colour. Intended to fasten at the hip, the buckle is circular and richly etched with sinuous filligree. The leather of the belt widens out at the opposite hip, flattening out to an area perhaps a hand's width across onto which is sewn the money pouch. It is bright yellow, festooned with orange embroidery, studded with gold and sporting a large clasp which locks tightly when closed. On the inside of the waistband is sewn a thin strap, allowing a sheathed knife to be thrust under the belt- rather than hide the wealth, this belt displays it but provides a warning to any prospective thieves as to what might happen to someone stupid enough to try taking it.
- a Caentoi fighting dagger
- A slender Caentoi dagger gleams here.
- With its sinuous curve and slender blade, this Caentoi dagger is both beautiful and deadly. The blade is thin and sharpened to a razor edge, etched with filligree toward the handle. The knife posesses no crosspiece, meaning that the owner needs to be almost as careful handling it as their prospective opponent. Bright red cloth wraps the handle, secured with bands of gold and spilling from the end in an elegant crimson trail which flutters with swift movements or the breeze.
- an ornamental ivory sheath
- Gold and ivory betray the presence of filligreed ivory sheath.
- Designed to take a curved Caentoi-style knife, this sheath has been crafted from ivory. Its outer surface is covered in intricate leafy filligree, and banded with gold for decoration. The interior of the sheath is lined neatly with leather, and a pair of thin cords at the top allow the weapon to be secured tightly within.
- a richly woven Caentoi rug
- The intricate designs of a Caentoi rug cover the floor.
- Resplendent in tones of crimson and gold, this rug has been woven in Caentoi style, its design intricate and lush. Leafy filligree and designs of desert plants cover the rectangular rug with detailed decoration, a statement of wealth for anyone lucky enough to own such a masterpiece of the weaver's work.
- a golden bolster cushion
- A cylindrical cushion in gold sits here.
- This cylindrical bolster cushion has been sewn from heavy gold brocade, and stuffed to be firm yet comfortable. The circular edges each sport a border of gold piping, and in the center of each end a bright golden tassel has been attached, the silky embellishments adding another touch of opulence to an already rich object.
- a large crimson floor cushion
- The crimson square of a large floor cushion is here.
- Designed to serve the function that a chair traditionally might, this cushion is large and low, stuffed to be comfortable but not squashy. It has been sewn from bright crimson brocade, a fabric-covered button in the center couching the pillow with attractive creases. The edges are decorated with bright gold piping, and from each corner a small golden tassel dangles, making this a decorative and functional addition to any room.
- polished golden cuffs
- A pair of polished golden cuffs gleam brightly here.
- Hinged on one side, these cuffs are designed to snap firmly about the wrist, the join all but invisible amongst the elaborate engravings on the cuffs. Each cuff is about the width of a hand tall, protecting and decorating the wrists of the wearer. A pale inlay which looks like ivory has been set into the top and bottom edges of each cuff, adding opulence with contrast.

- ==UTARI WARES==
- MOB
- a tall Utari tribesman
- Scantily clad save for his tattoos, a tall Utari tribesman stands here.
- Tall, lean and wiry, this Utari tribesman is simply clad in a pair of eel leather trousers which reach only as far as the knee. His pale bluish-white skin is patterned with intricate black tattoos that curl and writhe their way across his face and torso, reaching down along his limbs as well. The gills at his shoulder blades are ornamented with a number of silver and bone gill-rings that gleam in the light as the flaps of skin flutter gently.
- ornamental gold gill-rings
- A collection of golden gill-rings sit here.
- Designed for ornamenting the relatively delicate flesh at the edges of gills- for those who have them- these rings are lightweight but highly ornamental. Each is carefully designed, a slender golden hoop which is hinged and snaps shut to provide a secure closure. Two of the rings are simple and unadorned, and another pair flatten out in the middle to provide a surface on which geometric designs are etched. The next pair are set with chips of green and yellow gems, and the two largest rings have both etchings and gem-studded surfaces.
- an Utari fishing spear
- A three-pronged fishing spear lies here.
- A specialised tool for fishing, this spear would nevertheless be quite dangerous in the hands of one who knows how to use it. Instead of a more traditional blade tip, the business end sports three razor-sharp metal prongs, bound with rope and sealed with wax to the handle. The wooden shaft of the spear is polished smoothly and a wrapping provides better grip near the middle, but it is otherwise unadorned.
- a shark-tooth fighting knife
- A strange knife of wood and teeth has been left here.
- A traditional Utari knife, this vicious-looking tool has been crafted from wood and wax. About half as long again as a man's hand, the polished ovals of wood are bound at the top and bottom to keep them tightly together. The source of the item's name is obvious; in place of a metallic blade as a more conventional knife might have, a row of razor-edged shark teeth have been set down one side, sealed in with wax and the wood either side of the bases. While useless for day to day tasks like skinning or peeling, this fighting knife lends a savage and bloody attack to any engaging in hand to hand combat.
- a waveflower garland
- A garland of delicate blue and white flowers lies here.
- Designed to be worn about the neck, this garland of has been meticulously crafted from the striking waveflowers that grow along certain stretches of coast. The blooms are coloured much like the sea, deep blue at their hearts and fading up through paler blue-green toward the ends of each of the five pointed petals. The very edge of each petal is fringed with crinkly white which resembles the foam atop the sea. The garland has been cleverly woven from the tough stalks of the plant making a flexible but strong base from which to display the flowers.

- ===INFO===
- This would need some custom coding I guess, but the idea I had was taking the butterfly-catching code and doing something about fish-catching. Similar net, and you'd be able to tip your net's contents out into a fishbowl or fishtank. Fishbowl might hold two fish, tank might hold five? The fish would have a 'decay time' and die after five irl days or so, or within a minute if you tipped out your net outside a fish tank. Bit of a gold sink/fun new thing for people to play with. Could add catchable fish all over the world if you felt like it.

- a slender Utari girl
- A slender Utari girl stands here, attending her stall.
- Clearly in a state of adolescence, this slender Utari girl is slight of frame and simply clad in a blue sarong patterned with a batik design of waveflowers. Her smooth, bluish skin is unblemished, the fine patterns of early tattoos marking her shoulders and arms, to be built upon when she comes of age.
- a small fishbowl
- A round glass fishbowl has been set here.
- Blown by a master glassworker, this fishbowl is crystal clear with a near-spherical form. A stout base keeps it steady on a flat surface, and a circular hole in the top allows fish and fish food to be dropped into the clean water within.
- a large fish tank
- A large, rectangular fish tank is here.
- Painstakingly constructed from expensive panes of glass, this tank is rectangular in shape, the joins sealed with wax to keep water inside. The base is supported by a wooden stand, and the top is left open to allow fish to be dropped into the clean water inside, and also to facilitate feeding them.
- a red enameled fish net
- A bright red, long-handled fish net has been dropped here.
- This net is small and attractively crafted- while useless for any traditional fishing endeavors, it is perfect for catching single fish, if they're small enough. The net is finely woven, circular, and about the size of an outstretched hand, supported by a wooden ring which extends into a long handle. The wood has been enameled bright red, and patterned with a design of little golden fish which swim and frolic across the glossy surface.
- a blue enameled fish net
- A deep blue, long-handled fish net has been dropped here.
- This net is small and attractively crafted- while useless for any traditional fishing endeavors, it is perfect for catching single fish, if they're small enough. The net is finely woven, square, and about the size of an outstretched hand, supported by a wooden frame which extends into a long handle. The wood has been enameled deep blue, and patterned with a design of little silver fish which swim and frolic across the glossy surface.
- a silvery shimmerfish
- IN WATER- A silvery shimmerfish glints here in the water.
- OUT WATER- The silvery body of a small shimmerfish flops about here.
- IN WATER DEAD- A small shimmerfish floats belly-up here.
- OUT WATER DEAD- The small corpse of a shimmerfish lies forlornly here.
- This small fish has a thin, tapered body which is clad with tiny silver scales that catch the light and shimmer prettily. Its fins are small and translucent and its eyes are a fetching blue-green hue.
- a black fangfish
- IN WATER- A black fangfish patrols here.
- OUT WATER- A black fangfish flops here, toothy mouth gasping.
- IN WATER DEAD- The black body of a fangfish floats on the water.
- OUT WATER DEAD- A black fangfish lies here, expired.
- Glossy and stubby like a black pebble grown fins, this fangfish is not endowed with a pretty face. It has tiny, beady red eyes and small fluttery fins. The maw which gives it its name is filled with a profusion of jagged teeth which take up most of the front of its head, interlocking in a grim and foreboding grimace.
- a long Uta eel
- IN WATER- The sinewy form of a long Uta eel swims here.
- OUT WATER- A long Uta eel writhes helplessly on the ground.
- IN WATER DEAD- A dead Uta eel floats limply here.
- OUT WATER DEAD- Here lies the long body of a dead Uta eel.
- With a long, sinewy body and a slippery, almost slimy coating above its scales, this Uta eel is a fierce-looking creature with a long jaw full of needle-sharp teeth. A pattern of light and dark stripes run the length of the eel's body, resembling the tattoos of the Utari and earning this creature its name.
- a tiny green skimmer
- IN WATER- A tiny green skimmer flits about in the water here.
- OUT WATER- A tiny green skimmer flutters about uselessly on the ground.
- IN WATER DEAD- Like a small fleck of seaweed, a tiny green skimmer floats dead.
- OUT WATER DEAD- The diminuitive body of a tiny green skimmer is here.
- Barely bigger than an adult's thumbnail, this tiny green skimmer is the bright, verdant shade of fresh kelp. It is difficult to make out without examining it very closely, but the tiny fish sports translucent yellow-green fins and a bright yellow pair of eyes.

- A wild dumpling stand
- A simple stand made from slatted wood is here, with a sign attached to the front proclaiming "FRESH WILD DUMPLINGS". A large cookpot filled with boiling water sits at one end of the stand, and at the other a large wicker basket with a lid has been set. Between the two sits a stall attendant in a white apron, a blue and white bandana keeping his hair out of the way.
- a freshly boiled wild dumpling
- a soft, boiled wild dumpling cools here.
- Fitting neatly in the palm, this tiny wild dumpling has been prepared in traditional style. The small, tubby animals are kept alive until required, upon which time they are tossed into boiling water and eaten straight from the pot after minimal cooking time. The soft meat of the animal is sweet and succulent, and the bones are delicate enough to merely add a light crunch to the morsel. It has been wrapped in a piece of waxy ukala leaf to keep the hot skin from burning the fingers.
- EMOTE ROUTINE- triggered by 'buy dumpling' or something
- The stall attendant turns to a wicker basket sitting behind the counter. Reaching into it with a pair of wooden tongs, he extracts a squeaking, writhing live wild dumpling.
- Without a change in expression, the attendant moves over to the pot of boiling water and drops the tubby creature in. It gives a final, high-pitched squeak before falling beneath the roiling surface.
- The attendant waits a short amount of time before fishing the now-boiled animal out with a slotted spoon. He wraps it in a large, waxy ukala leaf to protect your fingers from the hot morsel, and then hands it to you.

- I don't have a specific mob or vendor in mind for these.
- ==========
- a tiny bottle of ukala juice
- A tiny glass bottle is here.
- Made from the small, tough fruits of the Ukala tree, this juice is bright red-orange in hue and rather viscous in texture. It is commonly used as a flavouring in cooking, or diluted with iced water or alcohol for drinking. It has a sharp, sweet and sour flavour, with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
- a skewer of marinated Uta eel
- A sticky skewer of marinated Uta eel is here.
- Marinated in a thick, dark sauce before grilling, the chunks of eel that have been threaded onto this skewer are cooked to perfection, their texture mildly chewy and their naturally smoky flavour further accented by the sweet sauce and the stripes of charring which cross the meat's surface.
- a small pot of yarla eggs
- a woven basket of steamed yarla eggs is here.
- Gathered from the nests of cliff-dwelling yarla birds, these small eggs are only about as big as an adult's thumbnail, their shells a pale yellow with blue-grey speckles. Having been thoroughly steamed, they make a perfect easy snack, as the shell of each egg is thin and delicate enough that one can eat the egg without removing it first.
- a paper parcel of kumara sticks
- A wrapped paper parcel of dried kumara sticks sits here.
- Cut into long, thin sticks and then thoroughly dried, these kumara sticks are brittle but have a mildly chewy texture. They have retained their pale orange hue as much as they have the particular sweet flavour of the root vegetable.
- a small chakda fruit
- A small, round chakda fruit has been dropped here.
- Almost perfectly round and a little smaller than a plum, this fruit has a glossy surface and firm texture, its colouration a bright shade of purple. Its flesh is tangy, and tastes faintly of chocolate, the tiny black seeds within like that of a kiwi fruit~; largely ineffectual to the experience of eating the chakda.
- a waxy ukala leaf
- A dark green ukala leaf litters the ground here.
- This is the large, waxy leaf from an ukala tree. It is dark green and quite tough, making it a useful commodity for wrapping small items, commonly food.
- a peron melon
- The bright pink form of a lush peron melon sits here.
- This melon, with its smooth, unblemished surface, is shockingly pink and about the size of a child's head. While the rind is firm and resilient, the flesh inside is white and soft almost to the point of being creamy. The melon's flavour is difficult to place, delicate and subtle, and rumoured to be aphrodisiac in nature.
- a firm belarit
- A firm, indigo belarit has been left here.
- Roughly the size and shape of a large clove of garlic, this belarit has a tough indigo skin which is naturally waxy and shiny. Inside is a heart of pale yellow flesh with a peculiar sweet and spicy flavour.
- an ear of kupabi
- A dark green ear of kupabi lies here.
- At first glance, this ear of kupabi appears to be a particularly dark green ear of corn. Peeling back the husk, however, reveals four or five 'slices' of fruit within, each piece short, fat, cylindrical and sporting its own dark purple skin. The flesh inside is bright orange and has a subtle flavour which is commonly drawn out by roasting.
- a handful of bala nuts
- a handful of long, black bala nuts is scattered here.
- Long and thin and roughly circular in cross-section, these nuts look at first glance like beans, albeit glossy, black-skinned beans. The shell is hard but brittle, and when snapped open, it reveals three or four bright crimson kernels which are chewy in texture and spicy in flavour.
- a stalk of sour weed
- A slender green stalk of sour weed is here.
- A bit short of a foot long, this pale green stalk of sour weed sports a cheerful yellow bloom on the end. The flower has three large petals curled into a flute which widens out at the end, and another such flower waits in a bud near where the first bloom sprouts. The stem of the weed is fleshy and full of the sour moisture that gives it its name.
- a blue-green waveflower
- A deep blue waveflower is here.
- This large flower with its five pointed petals is coloured much like the sea, deep blue at the heart and fading up through paler blue-green. The very edge of each petal is fringed with crinkly white which resembles the foam atop the sea, and the flower sits atop a tough stem of brownish-green.
- a violet sprig of Shepherd's Curse
- a sprig of violet Shepherd's Curse flowers has been left here.
- This small twig has been taken from a Shepherd's Curse bush. Thin, silvery-green leaves grow along the length of the stalk and at the top sits a number of crinkly-petalled violet flowers which are quite pretty to look at but which are quite poisonous to livestock, earning the plant its name.
- a frond of emberbloom
- A curving frond of emberbloom is here.
- A thin, curving stalk of green supports a dangling row of bright orange-red emberblooms. Each flower is slender and teardrop-shaped, so vividly coloured as to seem like a tiny ember hanging from its stem.

- a fluffy peejo
- A tiny, fluffy peejo hops about here.
- Bearing some qualities of a rodent and others of a bird, this tiny, fluffy peejo is a bizarre critter to look at. For the most part, it appears to be a ball of tawny fluff that can fit in the palm, but a pair of spindly birdlike feet extend from the bottom of the ball, and a small, mousy head is visible at the front, its beady black eyes and small, pointed ears at constant, nervous attention.
- a scaly dune lizard
- A scaly dune lizard lounges here.
- Covered from nose to tailtip in sandy yellow-brown scales, this dune lizard would be perfectly camoflaged in a desert environment. It carries its body low to the ground on strong, stumpy legs, and it has a lengthy, tapering tail which is easily as long again as the lizard's head and body. It has a pair of golden-yellow eyes and a craggy little face, its jaw roughened with a 'beard' of spiky scales.
- a fanged neckworm
- A fanged neckworm writhes here.
- Not an animal for the faint of heart, the neckworm is a pet that becomes very attached to its owner. It has bulging but vestigal eyes, a membranous skin covering each socket entirely, and the front of its head is taken up by a circular mouth ringed with razor sharp teeth, which it uses to latch onto the neck of its host and feed by siphoning their blood. It has a long, glossy black body, with a membranous crest that runs from just behind its head to the tip of the tail.
- a tubby wild dumpling
- A tubby wild dumpling waddles about here.
- Fitting neatly in the palm, this tiny animal is a near-spherical creature with short, nubby legs and a face which appears to be attached directly to the front of its body without the luxury of a head or neck. It has tiny beady eyes and a wide mouth, and two tiny dots mark its nostrils.

- a broad carving knife
- A carving knife has been left here.
- With its glossy blade and polished wooden handle, this carving knife bears clear signs of a master knifemaker's work. Though not quite as broad as a cleaver, this knife has enough heft that it makes carving roasts an easy task, the slices coming out regular and at whatever thickness the user might desire.

- a small bread knife

- A pub! I've included the descs I did for my builder app because hey, it had a pub, but you could pick a different setting if you wanted.
- ==========
- Desolate, misty hills
- (Hills)
- You stand in what feels like the middle of nowhere, the distance of your perception severely hampered by the clammy mist which cloaks your surroundings in greyish haze. Beneath your feet the ground is covered with thin, struggling grass and not much else; here and there, it is broken by the mouth of some animal burrow, but no trees or shrubs interrupt the silent forms of small hills that rise and fall all around you. The area is eerily silent- no breeze, birdcall or rustle of greenery interrupts the claustrophobic quiet.
- A misty burial ground
- (Graveyard)
- This area is so densely covered with mist that you can barely see anything beyond a few steps ahead. The ground is uneven and rocky, dotted here and there with loose branches, though there are no plants nearby. Looming up from the foggy ground, you can see several tall, straight shapes; they populate this area like limbless, headless trees. Upon closer inspection, they appear to have been painted with unintelligible tribal markings. The wooden poles are about as far around as a man's arm, and one which has partially rotted shows them to be hollow- from the jagged hole spills what looks like a mound of ashes, dotted here and there with pieces of bone and teeth.
- Outside the 'End of Time'
- (Path)
- The path you stand upon extends off into invisibility to the east and west, and though cloaked in mist like the surrounding landscape, you now stand before the dark shape of a large building. In contrast to the cold, clammy atmosphere, a warm and golden light spills invitingly from the windows; from inside, you can hear the sound of many raised and lively voices. Along the front wall to the left of the door is a rail to tether mounts to, and on the right there seems to be a halfhearted attempt at a garden bed, overgrown with weeds and stubborn red geraniums. Creaking eerily in the breeze, a sign hangs over the door- if the faded and flaking paint is to be believed, this establishment is called the 'End of Time'.
- A rowdy tavern
- (Urban)
- The first impression one gets of this space is that of overwhelming noise. The men and women of this tavern, engaged in assorted acts of drinking, conversing or fighting, are all variously speaking, shouting, singing or snarling, amounting to a cacophany that fills the room to the rafters. The building itself is simply constructed, wooden walls outlining a rectangular space packed with mismatched chairs and weathered tables. Stretching almost along the entire wall up one end is a broad bar, scratched and pitted but still carefully polished, likely by the tender, who stands behind it and doles out the alcohol. The room is lit haphazardly by a collection of lanterns, torches and candles, as well as a hearth up one end, lending warmth and a cheerful glow to the pub.

- a surly bartender
- Absently polishing a flagon as he eyes the crowd, a surly bartender stands here.
- Tall, heavy-set and broad of shoulder, this surly bartender cuts an imposing figure. His dark hair has been pulled back into a short ponytail, keeping loose strands out of his narrow, blackish eyes. He is dressed formally, in a waistcoat and crisp shirt, and sleeve-garters keep his cuffs out of his way. Though he looks stern, he doesn't seem malicious in any way, merely watching over his bar to make sure nothing gets out of hand. He is called 'Tony'.
- attack: A surly bartender grunts and slugs you with a fierce right hook.
- dead: His last round called, a surly bartender lies here, dead.
- ROOM EMOTE A surly bartender picks up a nearby glass, polishing it with a rag.
- RESPONSE to someone saying 'gkerousch'- say I'd be careful with that gkerousch stuff if I were you. The Vierkathi I buy from says there's no direct translation for the word, but the closest he can get is 'unconscious real fast'.
