  8. 1.25" Cheshire Collimating Eyepiece for Newtonian Reflectors
  9. https://agenaastro.com/agena-1-25-collimating-eyepiece-newtonian-reflectors.html
  10. A telescope's mirror must periodically be collimated to ensure the mirror is pointed in just the right direction. This eyepiece is designed to make this process easy.

  13. Orion E-Series 7-21mm Zoom Eyepiece
  14. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084RDVHFQ/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=zoom+eyepiece&qid=1592065176&sr=8-3
  15. Different focal length eyepieces result in different magnifications. A zoom eyepiece has a complicated optical layout which results in variable magnifications, controlled with a rotating slider. Thus, a single eyepiece can replace a kit of half a dozen eyepieces. Of course, they tend to be more expensive than a single Kellner or Plossl eyepiece, though still cheaper than a full range of eyepieces.
  16. $60.00

  18. Zhumell 1.25" High Performance Ultra High Contrast UHC Filter
  19. https://www.highpointscientific.com/telescope-accessories/filters/zhumell-1-25-high-performance-ultra-high-contrast-uhc-filter-zhul063-1
  20. An Ultra-High-Contrast filter is designed to pass only the specific colors of light produced by glowing nebulae, while excluding all other sources of light that the air scatters due to light pollution or moonshine.
  21. $49.99

  23. Orion 6x30 Right Angle Correct Image Finder Scope - 07211
  24. https://www.highpointscientific.com/telescope-accessories/finders-guidescopes/orion-6x30-right-angle-correct-image-finder-finder-scope-07211
  25. Finder scopes are small, low-magnification telescopes placed on the side of the larger telescope that contain crosshairs to allow for precisely pointing the larger telescope. The finderscope that came with my 6 inch telescope is *fine*, but can be very uncomfortable when pointing high in the sky since it requires contorting my body to get my head under the finder eyepiece. A Right Angle finder uses a mirror to redirect the image out the side of the finder, which makes it much more comfortable to use.
  26. $59.99
