TCS invitation to the SETI@home Wow! Event 2019

Greetings to all members of team Carl Sagan;

First of all, I would like to thank all team members for your dedication to your team, Carl Sagan, and to the memory of Carl Sagan's Life.

All members of Team Carl Sagan are encouraged to join the geeky (but funny and good natured) 8th SETI@home Wow! 2019 teams tournamenthttps://www.seti-germany.de/Wow/, where all the able and willing SETI@home teams compete for the Wow! and glory factors. If you receive this message, it is because Team Carl Sagan needs you and all the SETI@home computing power you can muster, especially for the Aug.15th - 29 time period.

Test run : July 8th - August 14th 2019
Contest : August 15th - August 29th, 2019

- Participants can use the test period to fine tune their rigs for best cooling and performance
- Participants are encouraged to temporarily have all their hosts crunch SETI@home data 24/7 for the contest's duration
- Wether they are on crutches or riding a BFR, this friendly competition will feature 3 winning participants ranked by their total accumulated credits, and based on the same criteria will be featured three winning teams and (get ready for this one) astrological signs groups; There s something for everyone !
- Additional benefits are the bragging rights associated with our team's participation in this event, another is that all Carl Sagan teammates will receive a personalized invitation to register and participate from no one else than the team founder - to proudly print, display in their office and cherish forever ! :)
- Follow the Wow! Event as it progresses until the final winning teams are pronounced on Aug. 30th. Even if your team didn't reach one of the three top pole positions, perhaps your group did ? What matters is that you were there in Time and Space, and that is reason enough to celebrate :)
