  1. The Land of Sacrifice bears four distinct "groups" of land. The Mountain Wall, the Seven Isles, the Land of Trials and Ugimp.

  5. The Mountain Wall
  6.
  7. The outer surroundings of the Land of Sacrifice. It is believed that these mountains weren't here in their entirety, and some were "added" by Guardians to ensure entry or exit from the Land of Sacrifice were prohibited through normal means. The mountains surround the Land of Sacrifice, in a mostly elliptical shape, with a few bumps here and there.
  8.
  9. There is little to find in these mountains, bar from some old caverns, where Dreamwalkers dwell, or as some claim, ancient sites and ruins. Skeletons of destroyed Taint monstrosities too, can be found here. Generally, this area is steered clear from, by most sane people whenever an alternative to it presents itself.

  13. The Seven Isles.

  17. Exactly what it says on the tin. The land of Sacrifice can be imagined as three thirds. The upper third, lower left and lower right. And the Seven Isles are the lower-left in this case. Out of the seven, only five are technically inhabited. The three southernmost contain the two uninhabited islands, and the third, bore a former human settlement, now only and outpost, and port of the Imperial Dominion.
  18.
  19. Directly above it, a crescent shaped island, with a vast mountain range beyond it's shores, is said to house some tribes of humans and Sunseeds living in harmony. The central isle, contains the last human bastion on the Land of Sacrifice, Falconguard. Unfortunately, Falconguard and the surrounding Sunseeds, and Guardians, do not get along so well.
  20.
  21. The two westernmost islands, are populated by the Sunseeds. The lower one, that is closer to the western mountain border, serves as a sanctuary island, for their leaders, and the memory of their ancestors. The other island, north of this one, is an Imperial outpost, also serving as a port, the continued existence of which has been ensured by the empire, against the local's wishes.

  25. The Land of Trials

  28.
  29. An island that is technically between the Seven Isles, and Ugimp. A normally barren island, with a river spiraling through towards the center, where it finally forms into a lake. Next to said lake, backed by the final turn of the River, lies the Tower of Trials. Only the banks of the river have any meaningful plant life to them, and it is most of the time, simply grass.
  30.
  31. The Land of Trials is full of magical power, and it seems to prevent the use of more advanced technology to help transverse it. The tower itself, seems to allow people up to certain lengths at a time, depending on their "Worth". The inhabitants, are animated statues, portraits or other objects, that can reveal more on the Tower and the Trials themselves, depending on the Worth of the traveller.
  32.
  33. The truly Worthy, can ascend to the top, where the ultimate prize is said to await... Most have come to believe it means, escape, from the Land of Sacrifice.

  37. Ugimp.

  40.
  41. A vast landmass (compared to anything else the Land of Sacrifice, or Ismor have to offer) , the continent of Ugimp, is home to the Imperial Dominion. Once home to the Esseline Empire, it is now overrun by imps, who established their own Imperial Dominion. The shores are sandy, and forests take over the further one goes into the land. Guardians are permitted to exist here, and the forests aren't allowed to be touched.
  42.
  43. The center of the continent, is overrun instead by parts of the empire. Their villages, cities, and the massive Windmill Fields. Which is exactly what the name suggests. Further inside the land, four vast citadels, and several outposts protect the Imperial Province. Said province, contains among other things, the Tower of Law, and the Tower of Truth, as well as the Imperial Capital, Wâka.
  44.
  45. Ugimp contains one large river, which ends up flowing through the Wāka as well, and is mostly fertile. Small forests grow all over the place, although the Woodborder is the vastest, and most notable.
  46.

  49. The Destroyer's Carcass
  50.
  51. The wasted carcass of a being assumed to have been a Destroyer, slain in the midst of the Sea of Sacrifice (the singular sea of the Land of Sacrifice). Said to have been brought down in a battle of epic proportions, that both ended the Esseline Empire, and brought the Mermaid species to life. It is known for the Mermaids to congregate here.
