[12:22] Ethan reaches into his cloak, fumbling for a moment before he pulled out a small silver box. He opened it up with one motion - offering a soothing reed-filled cigarette to his old, perhaps oldest friend at this point.

[12:26] Takes the soothing reed filled cigarette and brings it towards his mouth; utilizing the friction of air and some of his kinetic energy to light the cigarette. A deep inhale ensued followed by a blow of smoke, blinking before taking it away and speaking a poem;

The returned boy takes another puff of the smoke before resting his back against the building, simply blinking and resting rather patiently.

[12:31] Ethan offers a small shrug to the poem, his eyes wandering up towards the skies above - thoughts gathered for but a moment before he shared them. Perhaps it was destiny that had cast the die away from a nacroleptic Izabell and towards a returning Roh. Of course, he didn't put out his cigarette. Lies would be worse!

"It's been a lot of invisible for me. Lots of stuff I don't get, either. I was probably lucky the first time; now it's been a confusing, scary mess."

Unclear yet all too clear. He doubted a man would ask the why and how all of that happened - but the feeling shared would be understood, right?

[12:32] He'd give a turn to Amalee, before giving her a nod. He was indeed Virion, though with all the armor covering him. Yet he was indeed him still, not some random stranger.

Amalee remembered once something that Izabell had said when she had taken her entry test. She had stated that she thought Amalee to be right below Virion in power, at the time Amalee had thought nothing of it. But now she had met the man twice, there was a name to match the face.


"Hmm, seems to be a lot of stuff going on, would you care for a spar? The noise of the crowded square gets to me"

[12:34] Nods at the wise words of Ethan, such a fate can be really, really brutal. With another sigh escaping his lips, he moved to stand up and do a calming stretch. The feeling was too often well required; nothing is more common than the thought of invisible love. With that, he waved at Reito before looking towards the sky once again.

"Ay, love is a weird thing. I don't chase it, I just chase the simple life of writing poems and farming. It just comes to me, I guess. The mainland was pretty good with women, though."

[12:37] Ethan was, for once, pessimistic. That actually stung. He never used to think that way, did he? His lips drew in more toxin-filled smoke as he leaned backwards, staring at the skies.

"When I try it gets horrible. When I don't try I'm painted as someone who tries all that time. Even when I'm declining them or trying to make sense out of everything - there's doubt. Fear. And I've started feeling that way, too. It's pretty bad. There's lots of people I can't trust anymore, Roh."

He'd keep the details of how it happened for himself for now.

[12:40] Ethan Hawke says, "I've tried that. Ended up being cut off and betrayed over some past I had nothing to do with."
[12:41] Roh Stanirsk says, "Then, rewrite your story."

[12:41] Ethan Hawke says, "Well, I guess it -has- been a while since I've done something real stupid."
[12:41] Roh Stanirsk says, "Cut off the people uneeded, tell them you never had any infiliation; get rid of them, move forward in life."
[12:43] Ethan hopped up from the bench - driven by Roh's mistakenly taken 'advice'. He tossed the rest of his cigarette up in the air, lighting it whole on fire. With that, he began moving southwards with a stupid idea in mind and a last shot at optimisim.

[12:52] The woman looked at her facial expression before saying anything. There was something about her comments that made her think.

"Well, pretty or not. I am completely fine with you complimenting me in such ways. If it's any consolation, your beauty is unrivaled. I don't know the situation that well on the men that are in your life. However...should you choose a man or woman as your spouse, they should be capable of meeting the requirements for that role."

Perhaps, it was life that made her wonder about relationships and what drove them to care for one another so much. It wasn't that she thought relationships were bad or anything, she just thought there was a confusion in the chemistry. Would she ever find that chemistry in life, or would her spouse plans be arranged like back in the day.

Then again, that was mostly princesses and royal families.

[12:58] Leoda laid back in the flowers and looked up to the sky, her cheeks turned red at Izabell's compliment, and no, she hadn't noticed Roh or Ethan approach.

As she watched some clouds float by she thought for a few moments. "To be honest.. I don't really know the situation either. Everything is really confusing. Like.. on one hand I want to believe that Roh is back, and that he really wants to be with me like he says he does.. but then I wonder, am I ready to risk being hurt again like that? It's just.. scary." She sighed as she sat up, now taking note of Roh and Ethan nearby, her eyes in the past would have gone wide with panic and embaressment, now though, no such thing would happen.

"Oh look, we have company, cant even get you alone for five minutes."

[13:00] Roh slowwwwwwwly blinks. Roh hears every little thing and everything. Even the little whispers that were coming about. However, he did not hold any grudges to this; in fact, he simply nodded before opening his book and simple read.

[13:04] Ethan had been given a mission by the god of stupidity under Roh's guise. Perhaps having to redefine his life and rewrite his story was enough of an excuse for him to go for a move that meant all or nothing. If anything his timing couldn't be more precious, right? Well, regardless of how the dice would be cast on this evening, the young man had to try something.

"Hey. Uh- I hope you're fine with me interrupting and everything, but there's a lot of stuff I kinda realized lately. Love - or at least trying to love - hurts. Like a bitch. It hurts the more you try and it hurts when you don't try and watch others be happy. It stings when people get the wrong impression of you, too."

He stepped up closer, eyes stuck onto the only person who had yet to cross him in this area.

"Iza. I don't really know youall that well, but... I'm sure you've heard a bunch of things about me and you've got your own thoughts, too. I'm pretty glad that you stopped wearing a mask. It makes me feel special everytime I see your face - even if there's probably tons of other people who think your eyes are pretty."

Flattery was toned down a bit as he stepped closer.

"Anyway. My life's a pretty big mess. I've tried to make relationships work but they never do. I can't even bring myself to trust anyone anymore— I'm sure Leoda can tell you that. I'm no good. I've made tons of mistakes, too, so trusting me's probably real hard, but...

I had fun with you when we danced. I had fun in that bar when we drank and played our game. Roh said that I should try and rewrite my story. I don't think I'll be able to really trust you until I've got my own madness in check - I'm working on that. But.. Even if I might not trust you at times, I know you're a great person. It's not your fault if I feel that way, either. Anyway— what I mean to say is that-"

He cut himself off. That was definitely difficult. Love had messed his life and lead it in a pretty major way. This was a step forward he had to take, both metaphorically and in reality.

"I wanna try to do the right thing. I don't wanna end up going at my brother's wedding alone, either. It'll turn me into even more of a mess if I do. So... I wanna start by actually asking you out on a date, instead of implying we'd have one in the future. If you wanna, I mean."

A bold move. Make it or break it. There was no turning back.

[13:29] Having to continue the conversation with Leoda for a bit, as she watched the sky. She didn't really notice the others until after she heard the voice of Ethan. He was sprouting sentences and sentences of words. At first his meaning was a bit confusing. Though as he went on she listened to every word.

This was the confusing part about relationships, the part where Ethan suddenly wants a serious relationship? It wasn't the rumors that she heard about him that made her unsure, she just had issues with liking someone again. She did not want to see another Sectim incident nor a tragedy for that matter.

Still she pondered what he truly wants from her, words were fine, but she was built on action. She was built to always do and never say. However...

In the sudden moment that she would reply to Ethan, Leoda took it upon herself to lay a kiss out of the blue. To be frank, she expected it, but not so soon. She'd thought it'd be yearsfrom now, long after everyone who tried to date Izabell had stopped or died.

She hasn't kissed anyone in a really long time, Sectim was the last person to receive a benefit like this. She was still pure to the touch, a woman's flower untouched. The kiss went on, and she slowly lost herself in the heat of the moment. She wasn't good at these things, so she wondered if she was doing it right?

After the kiss finally ended, the woman's face was flushed red as Leoda took advantage of her. Not that she minds, she was waiting for someone to take the big leap. A woman could only hold out for so long before it's time to say, 'Just make me smile'.

What was she to say now? What would she say to Leoda….Ethan...or Roh himself. Someone that she knows was trying to date Leoda again. Was this cheating? Did she do something bad? The warrior stayed quiet with a flushed face, and waited upon everyone to speak their mind.

[13:47] Roh leans over to grab the dropped book, opening it to the page of poems that he wrote and heard from other aspiring poets around. Roh didn't really care for the display or the words; in fact, he didn't care about any of this. He has spent six years without kisses, or a sensual notion, so he can continue this without a moment to worry about. So, he walked, flipping the page after his eyes scaled the book and recited the words as he walked off.

[13:49] Perhaps this was it. Perhaps this was meant to be, in fact. When something new was being written it wasn't the pen that decided where it'd go, but rather the one holding it. In this case, destiny had found itself to be a cruel mistress. One that forced Ethan to see reality for what it was - or rather - what he thought it to be.

It stung. It hurt. He knew just how Leoda was, how much she wanted to have her goals in life reached and how she jumped at just about any occasion the came to do so. In one way he felt... Betrayed. Someone who not too long ago had pushed for a long-term relationship with him and had been turned down in a rather harsh way got in-between him and the attempts he was making at making his life better.

Had he expected Izabell to be his wife? Certainly not. Did he even love her? No. Beyond a mere pleasant presence he felt nothing serious for the woman - yet it stung. It stung bad. He felt as if she'd be the type to be reliableto start over, to take things slow and understand how life should and could be with someone at their side.

He felt as if the boundless optimism he had had been crushed, snuffed out without any more thought. He felt his heart beating just a bit faster. The whispers in his mind blurred out reality. One more - once again paranoia and fear had revealed themselves to be true.

How bittersweet that it would happen with Roh right by him, too. An old friend who had kickstarted making Ethan doubt his attachments. With a wisp of unwarranted occult energies the young man's eyes shifted from one person to another, indiscriminately.

They were all in on it.
They had planned it out to make him suffer.
Roh's magical return. Leoda's sudden interest in Izabell. Izabell's lack of emotional support when he needed it most. They were all against him. Against his happiness. Against him being allowed warm emotions. Occult madness struck at his soul's weakest spot; with the rumors about Vanika, Roh's early lies, Anna's attempt at devouring him, Aspen's manipulation, Cordelia's betrayal, Aspen's betrayal, Mital's opportunitistic behavior, Reito's unreliability, Ashera's silence and constant demand for battle, Mikiko's harsh judgement of friendship, Rikona's request for unheard advice, Alastor's constant mocking, Chroma's false support and Leoda's betrayal it was no wonder the young man's trust in people was wavering.

Paranoia. Fear. They were the prime targets of his insanity and... On that day, after being forced to fight with Ashera over and over, his insanity got to a point where it was unbearable.

Hope was no longer. Where he once thought he could trust someone and hated himself for not being able to, now his heart had been claimed by that fear.

Trust no one. Be yourself. Rely on no one but you.

They deserved no words, no happiness, and no smile. Ethan's expression was... Visibly hurt. Shaken more than ever before - not due to the action itself, but the situations that lead to this one.

Rewrite your story.

It had all been a plot to crush his hopes and dreams once and for all. There was no turning back, was there?

A flash of green light was cast over the entire area, magical circles appearing under Ethan's feet with more intensity than ever before. The young man had never been able to cast it as fast as this day, and within moments, his whole body would undergo conversion from a physical state to one of pure mana.

Unless stopped, Ethan would step into a portal that opened up, intended for himself alone. The lifestream practically grabbed onto him, leading him far away from this spot, traveling across the spirit world like it was a second home he always knew about.

There was no doubt; this small action would forever change Ethan Hawke.

[14:03] As Roh walked away, again..Leoda's heart began to ache. Not because he had seen what he had, but because just like last time.. he walked away without saying a word, she looked over to Izabell and the pain she felt was clear on her face. She was hurting, not just from Roh's return, but still from the first time he had left. She was also hurting because She had been interested in Ethan for five years.. and when she finally got her chance he pushed her away because she was honest with him. She'd been nothing but a friend to him, doing what she could to build his spirits back up, still to be pushed away, to be worthless to him.. She knew that Ethan had been flirting with Izabell, Leoda and Iza had discussed that already.

As Ethan's runes began to form Leoda continued to look at Izabell.

"I have always had a crush on you.. even back when we were kids and you were guarding Carthus.. I liked watching you fight, listening to you talk.. and just seeing you in general. I never have really had the confidence to try anything like that.. Last time I tried was Ethan.. I told him that I wanted a relationship with him.. a serious one, and when he asked if I loved someone else, I said yes, because I do love someone else. The man who raised me, who taught me just like he taught his other daughters."

She paused for a brief second, not sure if Ethan was even there or not anymore."My father figure means the world to me. I.. am really hoping that you won't push me away because of that Izabell.."

Part of Leoda did want to go chase down Roh, but she was fighting that urge. Roh meant pain and she was scared of getting hurt again.
