  6. Everything in his carved-open body was enhanced and over-sized, and all of it was damaged. Ducarius and his attendants, Owyn among them, layered temporary synthflesh over the most savage wounds inflicted by the Exilarchy, until cloned grafts could be grown and used to replace them. The surgery itself took nine days and nights.
