  1. As he pulled me along, backside perpetually swishing, Tsundere-kun said, "Hurry, in here!", as we head to the bathroom.
  2.
  3. In the darkish, seemingly vacant restroom, Tsundere-kun pins me to the wall, panting heavily, and a slightly bluish face.
  4.
  5. "A-are you~", I start before he puts a finger to my lips.
  6.
  7. "Shhh! I'm doing the talking, okay?", he says.
  8.
  9. "Hai...", I tell him.
  10.
  11. "Now look. Remember that night I invited you for dinner at our house a little while back, right before we started dating?", he asks.
  12.
  13. Meanwhile, a certain red headed speedster was eavesdropping in a nearby toilet stall.
  14.
  15. "Yeah, bu~", I start, but was interrupted again.
  16.
  17. "APUHPUHPUH! I'll get to that in a moment. Remember my dad saying he was initially against the idea?", he responds.
  18.
  19. As the tanned boy was sitting on the toilet reading a new Flash issue, he was dead silent while listening.
  20.
  21. "Uh, y-ye~", I respond, only to be met with yet another interruption.
  22.
  23. "APUHPUHPUHPAAAH!", he shushes me in frustration, stomping with his fists balled up with a look of hidden pure resentment on his face.
  24.
  25. He looked like a spoiled girl throwing a tantrum doing that, but I wouldn't dare say it out loud.
  26.
  27. "I'll get to THAT in a moment.", he says sternly.
  28.
  29. He starts to lose composure.
  30.
  31. "There's something that neither me nor Hana nor the old man told you. In fact, we refused to tell you.", he says, shakily.
  32.
  33. I awaited his continuation silently.
  34.
  35. Something was wrong, I knew it.
  36.
  37. "Listen, baka. We don't talk about Mom. She is a devout old-fashioned homophobe, and hates them with a burning passion. Dad wants to keep the family together, so if you thought he hated it, it mostly came from her influencing him. He never goes against her, either. It just sucks...", he says, tearing up.
  38.
  39. Tomboy-kun recognized our voices by now, and he him peeks out a crack of the stall.
  40.
  41. (Wait...those two were dating? I KNEW something was up! No wonder they were acting funny this whole time.)
  42.
  43. "I~", I start to say.
  44.
  45. "A-PAH-PAH-PAH, BAKA! A-PAH-PAH-PAAAAAH! Don't you know what that means? It means I'm still talking! I'll get to that right now!", he shouts, bursting into tears.
  46.
  47. The noise startled Tomboy-kun to where he almost dropped the near mint onto the ground, but he caught it in the nick of time.
  48.
  49. "You don't have to apologize. It's not your fault at all. *sniffle* I should have warned you earlier that it would've come to this...", he says, crying.
  50.
  51. "I want to continue this, but I don't~"
  52.
  53. I gently hug his pencil thin waist.
  54.
  55. "Eee! L-Let me go, baka. LET! ME! GO!", he says, cursing and screaming, while punching my back.
  56.
  57. Each punch hurt like hell, but I refused.
  58.
  59. The punches died down, until they stopped. The moment he stopped, he hugged me back tightly.
  60.
  61. "Thank you!", he said as his crying slowed.
  62.
  63. As I hugged him, I had an idea.
  64.
  65. "So...Homer? You're into Greek literature?", I said over his shoulder.
  66.
  67. "Shuddup. It's for an assignment.", he says, face buried in my torso.
  68.
  69. "Really? It seems like it was more than an assignment the way you were entranced in that book.", I respond.
  70.
  71. Normally, snide remarks of any sort would get my ass kicked, but Tsundere-kun did something I did not expect: he laughed.
  72.
  73. We stopped hugging as we both started laughing.
  74.
  75. "You're such a baka, haha.", he giggled, grinning, while wiping the last tear from his eye.
  76.
  77. They were borderline crocodile tears, if they were any other person, but his emotions actually did shift that fast.
  78.
  79. "So...there was something I almost forgot to mention. I know a fair bit of English. About your assignment, I could probably come over and help. As friends...y-you know, not to raise suspicion.", I tell him.
  80.
  81. "If you can handle the heat, that is.", he says.
  82.
  83. "I mean it, love!", I said, right before gasping at the accidental slip of the pet name.
  84.
  85. "Shhh! Not in school, baka.", he says, with an angry expression, but then changes it to a smile.
  86.
  87. "I know you do, baka.", he says, hugging me.
  88.
  89. We embraced each other until my phone beeped.
  90.
  91. "Ah, I forgot! I'm late for a meeting!", I screamed.
  92.
  93. "Go. It's fine.", Tsundere-kun says with a humble smile, a wave of relief washed over him.
  94.
  95. "Hey, Miri-chan...may we continue?", I ask him.
  96.
  97. He pulls out his phone.
  98.
  99. "Of course. After all, that's what we have these for.", he says with a grin.
  100.
  101. (I wonder why they kept it a secret...), Tomboy-kun said internally moments later as he washed his hands after we both left.
  102.
  103.
  104.
  105.
  106.
