  1. After the relocation of the NA Datacenter on the USA West Coast, lots of players got their ping increased beyond a certain threshold, where it makes the game less responsive, not as enjoyable as it could be, and prevent to reach the maximum DPS, etc.
  2.
  3. We, players, believe it is because most actions require a response from the server before the client is authorised to use them, and with high pings (70ms to 250ms), it makes FFXIV very clunky, unpleasant.
  4.
  5. We believe that the net-code could be improved the way you already did it with Mudras, where it seems the client is trusted without requiring a response from the server. We feel that even with a 200ms ping, we could get the same responsiveness than a player with 30ms ping, if some changes could be made to net-code.
  6.
  7. We would like you to consider it, so that the location of the Datacenter doesn’t matter in the end, where most ping issues will become irrelevant, and where the game will be responsive for everyone regardless of their ping.
  8.
  9. Thank you very much, The players of NA Datacenter.
