- I.e., "show me where any native English 'astronaut' speaks sustained Russian for just one minute". I tried finding Russian "ISS interviews" with the English speakers but I don't think they exist.
- Yes - there is no need or reason to lie about or exaggerate the language claims. It seems to be done to build up a myth that "astronauts" are the "best of the best". (And then "extremely lucky" to be picked - since they are conveniently "selected" - that also adds weight to the idea of it all being BS since you can't just *become* an "astronaut" - you have to be *chosen*. How convenient.)
- It all fits in with the idea that the "ISS" is really just a platform to impress beliefs upon children. The main audience of "ISS interviews" is children (and "conspiracy theorists"). _"It must be true because the 'astronaut' said so."_
