- When someone charges you from the side with a pitchfork aimed at your ribs, you tend to react. I did so by catching the thing by the head, stopping the barbs a few inches from my skin. I twisted and jerked the weapon to the side, wrenching it out the woman's hands. Unbalanced, she stumbled forward and I stepped in, tossing the weapon away and gripping her wrist.
