  1. Smash Party is a 4 player Smash minigame where the objective is to gather more than 10 stars.
  2. Stars are awarded to the players or removed from them depending on their placing in each match.
  3.
  4. Stars per placing(FFA) Stars per placing(Teams)
  5. 1st Place = 2 Stars Winning Team: 1 Star
  6. 2nd Place = 1 Star Losing Team: -1 Star
  7. 3rd Place = 0 Stars
  8. 4th Place = -1 Star
  9.
  10. The stars are counted using the player's Handicap, which goes up as the player gains Stars.
  11. A dice is used before each game to determine what type of match will be played next. If a Team
  12. Match is to be played, another dice roll will decide which player pairs up with who:
  13.
  14. Dice = 1-2: P1 + P2 vs P3 + P4
  15. Dice = 3-4: P1 + P3 vs P2 + P4
  16. Dice = 5-6: P1 + P4 vs P2 + P3
  17.
  18. The following types of matches will be played in it:
  19. Dice = 1-2: Free-For-All Time Match: 3 minutes
  20. Dice = 3-4: Free-For-All Stock Match: 3 Stocks 6 minutes
  21. Dice = 5: Team Time Match: 3 minutes
  22. Dice = 6: Team Stock Match: 3 Stocks 6 minutes
  23.
  24. General Match rules:
  25. ALL ITEMS ON
  26. ANY Stage can be picked
  27. Team Attack OFF
  28. (CPU Players will be set to level 9)
  29.
  30. The first time a player's Star count reaches 5 or 9, the rules of the decided match will change.
  31. No player will lose a star during this match. If the player in the lead wins, they get 1 star,
  32. and everybody else gets nothing. If any other player wins, they get to steal a Star from the
  33. player in the lead.
  34.
  35. A player whose Star count is 7 has their % set to 60%. If their Star count is 90%, their % is set
  36. to 80%. A player who gains a Star in a match HAS to switch their character and cannot use it
  37. again for the rest of the Smash Party. A player who loses a Star or doesn't gain any cannot
  38. change their character. CPUs always use a random character. If the result screen implies any sort
  39. of tie, the player with the most ko's will have the higher placing.
