"Oh my god," Saki rolled her eyes, glaring at Macy. "Are you seriously still going on about that shit? We're doomed. FUCKED. Stop being a pompous douchebag and just..."

"Just what, Saki? Please explain what on Earth I'm supposed to be doing. Explain what I'm supposed to be doing when the world is ending around us. What can I do but this?" The desperation in Macy's voice broke Saki's heart, and the punk girl turned away.

"I don't give a fuck, just - just do whatever."

Saki fled to her room before Macy could reply. She pulled out her journal and began to write, ignoring the tears wetting the page.

'Dear diary,

'I'm the moron. Turns out all that shit I did fucked everything up, and now Macy and I are fucked. Weird, huh? We got this bitch visiting and telling us we were fucked and everything.

'Yeah it's my fault. Do you want me to yell it from the rooftops?! It's my fucking fault! I shouldn't have prototyped that shit. Look, I wanted to know how it'd go, okay?! That's all. And what's more, I shouldn't have helped that douchebag get that ring. I thought it was part of the game!

'Whatever. She's probably out there crying to herself, the fucking wimp. She can't do anything aside from keep house and correct my fucking curse words. I should go talk to her. She doesn't have to feel  terrified before the end.

I'll kick the end's arse.'

Saki put her pen down, leaned back and sighed. "Fuck it. HEY, MORON!"

"What?" Macy's curt voice called out from the lounge.

"QUIT BAWLIN'! I'm comin' back out and if I see one tear I will kick your arse from here to Sunday!"

"I wasn't crying!"

Saki wiped her own tears away - who's projecting? - and marched out.

"Listen, you know what we're gonna do?"

"What?"

"We're gonna tear this world apart and give our alpha selves something to really think about."

"What in heavens are you talking about, Saki?"

"I'm saying we're going to wreck this game's shit."

"Poop!"

"Whatever. There's no more consequences for us, right? So we may as well try to find out what we can while we can. This game thought it could fuck with us? Well this game is wrong."

"Mess with us. And fine." Macy stood. "It will be better than sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves."

"C'mon, moron, let's go."

"It's Macy."
