The distance freed up Dante to use his sword. He
spun the blade with dizzying speed, slicing into his
opponent. But just as he seemed on the verge of
shredding Gilver apart, his sword flung backward with a
violent ring.
“Hey! What happened?” The weapon vibrated in
Dante's hand, as if he had struck steel.
