  1. [16:11] Rindou approaches the bee-like fae from behind, speaking up as she did.
  2.
  3. "I think you have some explaining to do. What made you think it was a good idea to ruin lives and speak of what you saw?"
  4. (Rindou Sakamoto)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [16:11] Pom says, "I'm not zzzure what you're talking about."
  8. [16:12] Rindou Sakamoto says, "None of the people present there have said a thing of what happened. None but you; the outlier."
  9. [16:12] Pom asks, "And what have I zzaid? And to whom?"
  10. [16:12] Rindou Sakamoto says, "I don't know who you spoke to or what you've told them exactly, but before Lea and I could return people were well-aware of what had happened. They knew things they should not know."
  11. [16:13] Pom says, "Well it wazzn't me."
  12. [16:13] Rindou Sakamoto says, "Either you'll make up for the wounds you've caused or I'll make you make up for them."
  13. [16:13] Pom says, "I havn't cauzzed any woundz, azz I zaid, it waz not me."
  14. [16:14] Rindou Sakamoto says, ".. It would have been easier to comply. It would have hurt less."
  15. [16:16] Rindou's right hand reached out, allowing a blade to materialize itself from thin air, green wisps coalescing into the weapon as the noblewoman kept on speaking, readying herself for a more violent confrontation.
  16.
  17. "While I don't trust Sors I know he would not have betrayed himself. Neither Nym nor Adonis would have spoken. Lea was asked about it the moment I returned, as was I. Someone told them.
  18.
  19. That someone is you."
  20. (Rindou Sakamoto)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [16:28] Pom slowly turns around, folding her arms.
  24.
  25. "There are many otherzzz who vizzit the mountain. I've told noone about you being here, nor about Lea being here until Aurora mentioned it today. zzhe azzked if I've seen her couzzin up here becauzze zhe's worried, and I zaid yez. I havn't told anyone about you being friendzzz with Zzorzz. I enjoy Zorz' company and giving out hizz information would make it zo he wouldn't be my friend anymore."
  26.
  27. Even as Rindou prepared to attack, Pom doesn't raise up defenses to fight the Sakamoto off, Pom is weak.
  28.
  29. "Aurora told me Lea wazz up here, gave her dezzzcription and everything, blue hair white wingzzz."
  30. (Pom)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [16:34] Where a good and decent person would have backed off and taken the situation on a calmer, more reasonable level, Rindou was not. Trust was hard to come after the number of people that came around betraying her, hurting her on purpose and hunting her down.
  34.
  35. A fae few cared about was the perfect culprit for information being leaked. Even if Sors would miss her, which she doubted he would, it would not have slowed down Rindou's approach. The grip on her weapon tightened up as her body produced heat like not other; her molten shell made the snow surrounding her melt down to nothing.
  36.
  37. "Aurora?"
  38.
  39. She said, staring at the bee-like creature. A deeper frown came to her features. If she thought mentionning Lea's cousin would help, Pom would find herself far, far away from the truth. This was the girl who bullied her, hurt her, threatened her life. The last person who she would trust in the world.
  40.
  41. And Pom had confirmed telling her all about their location.
  42.
  43. "... I'm glad my gut-feeling was right."
  44.
  45. She slashed forth.
  46. (Rindou Sakamoto)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [16:36] Pom asks, "Your gut feeling wazzz that zomeone told ME of your location?"
  50. [16:40] Pom looks just as confused as when Rindou had approached her, wings quietly buzzing to keep her airborn, and once Rindou's molten shell had been made and the name Aurora spoken she nods.
  51.
  52. "Yez, Aurora, zhe told me Lea wazzz up here and azzked if I'd zeen her."
  53.
  54. Poms never actually been in a real fight, she doesn't fight.. so the fact that Rindou is preparing to attack pom for something she didn't even do is extremely confusing to her.
  55.
  56. "Pleazzz ztop.. I didn't do anything!"
  57.
  58. As an initial slash is sent in Pom's direction, she's really got no choice but to attempt to move out of the way, she has to at least try delaying battle a little.. she doesn't want to fight because she knows there's no real point in it, she'd just lose and nothing would change.
  59. (Pom)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [16:53] ** Rindou Sakamoto has inflicted an injury upon Pom. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
  63. [17:06] She treated the fae like someone far, far weaker than she was. That much was obvious when Rindou tried to use her face to take on every single challenge that came towards her. Though as soon as Pom fought back Rindou turned it up a notch.
  64.
  65. Her body flew forward, shifting right by water and energy beams alike - getting up-close and cutting away at the small being without one ounce of mercy. Things only grew more drastic as Rindou's advantage was made obvious. The earth below Pom surged up, creations of marble reaching up to grasp onto her small body and keep it right where it was.
  66.
  67. "You expected no one to care, didn't you? You thought No one notices a fae, how could they find out I've blabbed? or some shit like that, didn't you?!"
  68.
  69. Rindou's voice grew harsher in the midst of her words. Her sword slashed through the air, producing cutting winds that dug into the small being— torturing her quite literally for all to see.
  70.
  71. "I was a mistake to think that I wouldn't notice. I know how it feels like to be put aside, to be treated like nothing more than a convenience. You might've gotten away with your betrayal if it were someone else, but we won't let ourselves be used anymore. We won't let the world just take what they want."
  72.
  73. Her left hand slowly closed upon itself, forming into a fist as she shifted her mana, focusing it deep within the mountain underneat Pom. The ground around where she was bound began melting before the marble structure took upon a red taint - clearly heating up.
  74.
  75. Heating up without stop.
  76.
  77. "You should hurry with your last words."
  78. (Rindou Sakamoto)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [17:17] Pom fought.. fought as hard as she possibly could, her commandment of ten different magics was clear within her struggle, desperate darts to avoid the blade, but in the end, it was fruitless. Numerous beams, bubbles, pillars of dirt, illusions, crystals, spores, they scattered the snowy fields only to be cast aside by the swordswoman.
  82.
  83. It's quite clear that Pom is absolutely no match for her.
  84.
  85. A scream echoed out from the tiny being at each of the cuts being thrown about her form by the winds. Yet words did not fail to reach Pom.
  86.
  87. Her last words? Was Pom really going to die? For something she didn't even do?
  88.
  89. "I didn't betray! I didn't uzzzze anyone! Thizz izz where I call home! I don't want to die." the fae shouted in reply as things began to heat up around her.
  90.
  91. "Zztop, pleazz! It wazzn't me! N-Nyphadora.. zhe told Aurora of Anazzztazia meeting with Zorz.. It waznt me who told about you"
  92.
  93. Ultimately, Pom is rather defenseless when it comes to trying to keep the area around her from heating up. She didn't want to out her fellow Fae.. her elder.. the one who allowed her visit worldscape and helped Aurora, but between death and survival? Yea.. Fuck Nyphadora, Pom will turn against anyone who isn't really her friend. Which she's only got a total of one friend, her best friend, Sors.
  94.
  95. "Pleaz.. I didn't.." there's not really all that much left to say. Were these going to be her final moments? Blamed for the actions of someone else?
  96. (Pom)
  97. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  98.
  99. [17:18] Lea took a step away from texting on her transceiver to stand next to Rindou, looking at her, but making no direct attempts to actually stop her; not yet.
  100.
  101. "You don't need to do this, it might not have been her. It might've been my mom who blabbed to everyone."
  102.
  103. Lea, for all her recent fuckups, was still too soft to not at least try to prevent a death.
  104. (Lea Elisheva)
  105. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  106.
  107. [17:28] The begging, the revelations, the betrayal of another. They were all heard and noted. Lea's own approach was caught, too. In fact it was the only thing Rindou answered, the pleading went without response.
  108.
  109. "You've heard her, Lea. She just outted another right here, in front of your eyes."
  110.
  111. Her amber gaze shifted towards the Elisheva, a flicker of green passing through.
  112.
  113. "I don't need to do this, but I will. No one will step all over us anymore Lea. I won't let it happen again.
  114.
  115. I won't let the world trample over our paradise."
  116.
  117. Rindou was quite clearly someone who was losing her mind. Someone who had lost most of it, even. Her shifts were denoted by the various tones and expression she took as she spoke. Though all of the words she spoke came from her or someone she knew - they weren't shot out at random.
  118.
  119. The marble construct heated up further. Pristine white rocks turned into hot, scorching magma as the Sakamoto aimed to literally melt the fairy down right before everyone's eyes.
  120.
  121. Screams would not be the thing that stops her.
  122.
  123. "She might have been the one who spoke but more people knew than just her entourage.
  124.
  125. I won't let them hurt me. I won't let them hurt my family."
  126.
  127. Because after all of that, that's what Lea was growing to be, wasn't it?
  128. (Rindou Sakamoto)
  129. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  130.
  131. [17:30] Lea Elisheva asks, "...f...family?"
  132. [17:31] Lea was already emotional from the messages she was giving on the transceiver, but this just... this just made her stop cold and stare forward.
  133.
  134. She was going to let this pass.
  135. (Lea Elisheva)
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.
  138. [17:38] While Rindou continued to speak Pom really had no option but to speak along side the woman.
  139.
  140. "I didn't ztep on anyone.. thizz iz the only place I've called home.. this iz paradizzz for me too. Let me live.. pleazz I'll do anything."
  141.
  142. The heat began increasing, aiming to melt her down but maybe ther was still some hope.. Though it seemed to be shrinking by the moment as she could feel various portions of herself begin to alight.
  143.
  144. "Thizz iz my family too, everyone here. The only one I have, I didn't betray you.. Pleaze ztop..I'm zorry.. zorry that me traveling made it zeem like I waz.. but this iz my family, I'd never go againzzzt my family."
  145.
  146. If the heating wasn't stopped well, little by little the air would fill with higher pitched screams until finally there was nothing left to scream with.
  147. (Pom)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [17:41] It was like a kettle reaching its boiling point. The screams, the words turning into nothing more than memories as the magma construct held Pom right where she was, claiming her life and turning her into nothing more than a mistake on Sors' part.
  151.
  152. To trust a bee and not expect to be stung.
  153. (Rindou Sakamoto)
