Alexithymiaa: -Noah had agreed to go to the gym with Tae to help her train a bit, but he doesnt have a car so they definitely had to come together this time. Standing with his back against the wall, he gestured toward the butterfly machine. "Start with ten pounds. You're just going to lay your forearms flat on the pads and press in. Don't brace yourself with your legs, don't use your core. Just your arms for ten reps."-
Covet: [They probably took hers.. She drives terrible... but she was able to purchase a cheap used one lol. She just rode with someone else last week.]
Covet: "But if I use my core, wouldn't that work out that area too?" She asked as she did what he told her, paying more attention to him than any actual lifting and such. Dick eyes yo. dick eyes.
Alexithymiaa: "No.... because then you wouldn't be working out your arms, which is the point of this exercise. You do separate core training." He said as he watched her, rolling his eyes because training her wasn't exactly as beneficial to him as he had hoped thus far. "Sit up straight and just move your arms." He said as he reached over, giving her shoulders a gentle pull backwards to stop her from using her back.-
Covet: "Oh..." Tae said furrowing her brow, then adjusted as he pulled her back. "How long do we have to do these things in order for it to strat working?" She asked him as she went about lifiting just her arms, starting to feel a bit of a burn because she was a weak bitch.
Alexithymiaa: "Start working?" He asked her, because to him he's like WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN. "Uh... well you can go up in weight youre lifting in a few weeks..." He said, watching her form, but then really watching her form. "I don't understand how you look like you're in good shape, but clearly aren't in good shape..."-
Covet: "Yeah, like, could I go to my pole class tomorrow and see the results?" She asked him, Tae don't be dumb. working out doesn't work like that. "Really good metabolism. It's an asian thing I think." She said "Plus I have been getting in a good amount of cardio lately." She added with a smirk.
Alexithymiaa: -He smirked back because he couldn't help, but be impressed with himself at her mention. "Well... no. Because you've been working out all of like a week. You're probably not going to notice any difference yet. You've going to have to give it a few weeks, but you'll probably notice how you feel first."-
Covet: "I feel sore... maybe working out really isn't for me?" She said looking at him, but then she wouldn't get to have an excuse to hang out with him at the gym. "I'm kidding. I just wish the results happened quicker."
Alexithymiaa: "Sore is good. That means it's working. If you didn't feel sore, I'd say you're probably doing it wrong." He said with a laugh, gesturing to the pull bar next to her. "Shoulders next." He walked over and sat down at it, reaching up to grab the bar and pulling it down in front of him until it was just under his chin. "Just like this." He said before setting it up on a lower weight for her and getting up.-
Covet: "I mean don't get me wrong, I love feeling sore, for the right reasons." Tae said then looked at him. "That works out your shoulders? I didn't even know there was muscles in your shoulders that you could work out seperately." She said " Is that why there is so much equipment in a gym? You have to have a different machine for each muscle?"
Alexithymiaa: -He very slowly brought his hand up to rub over his eyes, trying not to show his annoyance with how fitness ignorant she was. He has such little patience. "Not a different machine... but different exercises, yes. I feel like I should make you learn about your own body." He paused, a little light bulb going on above his head. "Actually, that's a great idea."-
CovetCovet : "I know about my own body... trust me..." Tae said, but he doesn't mean womanly things, or sex or any of that. She started in on the other workout for her shoulders. "Are you going to make learning....fun?" she asked with a smirked that implied naughtiness.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Not enough about your own body, obviously." He said as he moved to the wall again so he could watch her form, but sort of just ended up staring at her chest instead. "Of course I'm going to make learning fun. Who do you think you're talking to here?"-
CovetCovet : "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked him with a slightly offended tone to her voice. Then she went to look at him, but then she lost track of what she was doing, "Crap, I forgot what number I was on... I don't know what kind of a teacher you are, I just know that I learn better when it's fun."
Alexithymiaa: "I don't do anything that's not fun." Which is true and why he's been skipping his boring classes to do more fun things with his time. "Start over." He said, moving behind her to grab hold of the bar and hold onto it for her so she could get her bearings. "You need some sort of ownership with this. So if you mess up, punish yourself."-
Covet: Start over!?!?! But my shoulders are already getting sore." She said groaning out with a whine, then started over again, then mumbled softly mostly to herself, "I like it moe when someone else is doing the punishing."
Alexithymiaa: "Well then don't mess up." He said in a mocking tone, letting go over the bar so she could start again. "When we're done, we can go home and I'll make sure to massage every sore muscle until you feel better."-
Covet: "I'm trying not to, I keep getting distracted." She said glaring at him, starting over. "Are you sure, cause, You're the one teaching me here, and then you're going to massage me too? That's a lot of work, and I'm not sure how to pay all that back right now...." She said, though she totally knew how.
Alexithymiaa: -He intentionally did not mention how getting to basically grope at her was sort of payment for him. "Let's just say I'm a nice guy and I'm willing to do this for you out of the goodness of my heart and when you can repay me, you will." He grinned, reaching up to take the bar so he could lower the weights. "Get some water. You need to drink a lot of water."-
Covet: "Awwh, that's so nice of you. Thank god." Tae said as she finished and he told her she could take a break. "Do you want to head home after I catch a drink? Cause We could trade rub downs at the very least?"
Alexithymiaa: "I think that's a fantastic idea." He said with a grin, nodding his head. "You know, we can even just go home and get some water there too. It's not like we're far." He said, already starting to inch toward the exit.-
Covet: "Okay, that works for me." She said immediately turning around so that she could follow him out, making sure to grab her hoodie and her keys to her lemonmobile, then caught up to Noah so they could walk out.
