12/10/2018 - SMASH

Smash is fantastic, I don't have online yet but I plan on getting it for Christmas along with a lan adapter. I spent a lot of time playing already over the weekend so I plan on streaming very little this week to catch up on stuff and play even more smash. Here are some extensive thoughts about smash

This game has too many good characters / I still don't have a main yet:
Which is a good thing. Because of my extensive play of World of Light with puff, I haven't been able to try out many characters but here are some of the characters I am interested in:

- Puff: Kill setups are dope. Love playing around with air attacks. Most likely going to be my main but I haven't decided
- Pika: Airs with the character is nuts, dair spikes now, really want to try and learn this one
- Isabelle: F I S H I N G R O D!!! Airs and tilts feels super nice as well. I really wish the dair could spike however. Recovery is nuts
- MK: I played a little and his airs feels super good again, Neutral Special can launch like crazy. I want to see if I can figure out how to do some of the crazy combo's I've seen on twitter
- Shulk: Idk, I kinda liked this guy in smash 4. And apparently they got rid of alot of the lag with this character so yey. Neutral B looks a lot easier to use this time around

World of Light NG+ is 3 hours of drill abuse:
I don't have much of an issue with drill abuse but the length is a little too long for me. I recently saw a speedrun of Classic Mode with puff and it actually looked super interesting since it is entirely rest kill setups which I really want to try about myself. I previously had 0 intrest in Classic mode but I seriously want to try this category along with possible high score runs

I'm currently redoing my smash 4 tracker to add in the smash ultimate characters and overall make it a lot more robust. When I finish it, I will upload on itch.io. I will not publish the source code because it includes assets from the game.

Speedrunning is not dead but this is a big break I am taking to focus on school until Christmas break. I plan on doing katam 100% during Christmas break. Quil got a switch and Rox plans on getting one for Christmas so they will probably join us for the Kirby Degen Squad Odyssey race. Next year is going to be fun
