Ascent

Legode didn't even have time to counter when the old man quickly countered her tackle, her mask falling off in the process. As she got up, she lowered her hood and showed off her blue skin, pointed ears, and white hair.

"You should really respect your elders young mage..." she said to Spencer, "I've been alive 118 years. In that time, I have never seen anyone try to protect an assassain. You must be starting to go mad if you are willing to protect someone with the profession of killing anyone for money. Good or evil, innocent or not... every assassain that was sent after me in my world didn't care who they killed as long as they got paid."

The elf then closed her eyes and began concentrating. "I refuse to let a heartless killer walk freely. Summon Creature, first level."

In a flash of light, a large badger with bony plates on its back appeared, and it moved about in front of her, ready for battle. She then drew her rapier and waited for the two males to make a move.

Spencer barely had time to react as Ezio quickly tossed off the Elf without needing any of his assistance. It looked the old man still had some moves left in him, after all. Despite this, Spencer still stood with his staff at the ready, in case the lady tried anything. However, when she began to explain herself, Spencer couldn't help but palm his face. He wasn't sure if he'd ever met anyone so stupid, except maybe for that Joey guy.

"You must be kidding." Spencer said, straitening slightly. No one this dumb could really be a threat, and that badger thing she just summoned didn't look like too much to handle between him and Ezio. Are you really this much of an idiot? You must've realized by now that different worlds are, and this might be slightly shocking, different. Maybe not all assassins are dishonorable enough to kill for cash, maybe on different worlds 'assassin' means something completely different. And it sure as hell doesn't help that you attacked this guy unprovoked. If anyone's the bad guy here, I'd say it's you."
