"So, what do you think?"

Shopping, for Riona Langly at least, usually is a swift process. She finds what she's looking for and then gets the Hell out of Dodge. She's never really fallen prey to that female instinct to go out and just window-shop to her heart's content, which makes her current predicament all the more amusing. It's really her fault too... She just had to mention to the newest resident of her house that they could go out and shop for some more colorful drapes and sheets for the room that has been taken over by Ayumi Hirano. She, of course, didn't know that shopping was of particular weakness to the girl.

"Um... it's very... pink." Riona replies as she takes a gander at the blouse Ayumi has picked out and is holding up... And yes, it is very pink.

Sensing, but not really caring, the discomfort in her shopping partner, Ayumi grins and throws it into a cart which looks to be nearly full of clothes. Amongst the pile, near the bottom, are the drapes and sheets that they had originally come out to buy, completely forgotten by the shopaholic.

"Um... Ayumi... Why are you buying so much? I mean, didn't you have that big suitcase full of clothes?" Riona wonders as Ayumi grabs a comfortable looking sweatshirt, this one being a light purple...

Shaking her head, almost in mock sadness, Ayumi replies, "Riona, that little suitcase of mine doesn't really have all that much of a selection to wear out, especially cold weather clothes. Anyway, I'm totally needing some new outfits if I'm going to hit the road with you and Maya soon. Some of the guys in the PWA look delish!"

"Ayumi..." Riona begins after a sigh... "I don't know if I'd really be looking for dance partners in the PWA pool, so to speak."

"Well, that's because you're a little, no offence, frigid. You've been in that company, surrounded by all those good looking guys, for 3 years now, and haven't made a move on any of them except, what, Jamie Flynn?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm not really LOOKING for a boyfriend right now... Jamie, that was sorta like, my competitive spirit getting the better of me for a while. It cooled off pretty well when he left PWA, and I really haven't had anything since then."

Ayumi just gives her a look as she throws the sweatshirt into the pile, "That makes like, no sense! You're a woman in the prime of your life, you should be out trying to find someone that fits you just right you know!"

"What? And give those rumors about me some validitation?" Riona begins, calmly despite the topic of choice not being a particular favorite of hers, "Ayumi, I haven't gone out on many dates in the last couple of years because everyone seems to believe I'm what PWA Radio would like people to believe I am."

"A whore?"

A beat... "Exactly. The good ones that I may be interested in think I'm damaged goods and I've got no interest in those that have been pursuing me because they think I'm easy."

Ayumi pauses her clothes search, looking Riona up and down... "You know, if you got a boyfriend, those rumors would probably stop."

"I'm not going to offer myself to someone just to stop the rumors about me. I want, you know, to be in something that means something more than just 'You're hot, bang me.' I hear enough of that with Maya..." Riona responds, taking a look at a skirt that has actually caught her eye.

Ayumi ganders at the skirt over Riona's shoulder, not even attempting to be discreet... "Oooh, you'd look good in that! But, you don't really have the boots or anything to go with it... And yes, before you ask, I looked through your closet while you were giving me the tour of the house."

"And I'm assuming that you do."

"Well, yeah, I live in California."

Another beat... Riona looks at the price-tag of the skirt and balks just a little bit. "All that for a skirt... Damn."

A shrug of the shoulders as Ayumi yoinks the skirt out of Riona's hands and feels the material, commenting, "Yeah, well, it's quality material and, more importantly, it's a designer label. Of course it's going to cost a pretty penny."

"OK, fine, it looks great. But, it's not just something that I'm going to wear all the time, so why spend that much when I can buy a jersey for the same amount?"

"Look Riona, I get it... You dress all masculine because you want to downplay your femininity and be taken more seriously as a wrestler. I totally get that. However, by dressing and acting the way you do, you've cut yourself off from normal human interaction."

"I guess that's why you're here. Not just so I can finish your training, which is an absurd idea in the first place..."

Ayumi shrugs her shoulders again, taking ahold of the cart from Riona, "I don't know. Though, it may just be that me and Alexis don't see eye to eye on alot of things. But, that's neither here nor there... I'm here now, that's all that matters."

"Yeah, but I wonder something..." Riona begins as they make thier way around to the cash registers... "How the hell are you going to keep paying me to live here along with buying all this crap today. I said I'd buy the sheets and drapes, not the wardrobe and a half you're working on."

"Oh, that's easy. I'm a trust fund brat. My grandfather set me up an inheiritence for any of his grandkids if they got into the wrestling business. I was the only one of us 6 to take him up on the offer..."

Another shake of the head... "I kinda figured there was a trust fund of some sorts going on."

"Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't have some background check or shit on me after I moved in."

A sly smirk from Riona... "I'm waiting for it to come in the mail."
