BACKGROUND :
— xu yuan was born in dublin shortly after a major gang war. from a young age, he was trained with various weapons by his father and those skills have become muscle memory for him. he was also taught to always be on guard and alert for danger, mostly because of the environment he grew up in. he also unintentionally learned not to trust people and thus has some pretty deep trust issues. xuyuan continued his rigorous training for a long time, and eventually started fighting with his father during fights.
however, that was how his father died, stabbed by an enemy gang member. xuyuan gained revenge quickly, because he shit the guy to death. with his father gone, xuyuan left the gang quite quickly and wandered off into the dangerous street of guandong, where his previous gang had moved their operation. that was how he met andromeda and humility while the two were doing something abroad their gang's usual place of operations. humility decided to take him in even though andromeda protested, but he took care of xuyuan anyways.
  he learned to trust humility and andromeda though he's still distrusting of reo. he's fine with sun though. this thing about being an idol is probably one of the reasons why he doesn't really trust reo as much as he trusts humility and andromeda and sun. he's clear about how much he's against the fact he has to act nice and do stuff to make a bunch of young fans happy.

PERSONALITY :
— don't let his pretty face fool you, he's got quite the flaming temper. xuyuan isn't a patient person and can sometimes be quite reckless. it's hard for him to sit still and wait so he's always pacing around to let off his energy. only completely exhausted or broken will you see him sit still. he has a sharp tongue as well, and will be a sharp and blunt. he doesn't seem to care what others think of him and does his thing. xuyuan's stubborn and can be quite cold to most people, but it's almost like he's born to be an idol for his innate acting ability. though he's happy to show what he thinks of this stupid plan (uh- clearly, he doesn't like it lmao) he also is quite the calculated person.
  he can plan accordingly in a flash, in the midst of a battle. because of this, he also instinctively knows how to handle a situation so the best advantage lays on him. there's quite a few people who regard him as a movie psycho, but that's not true - not completely, anyways. yes, he's wild, impulsive, but he's not irrational. besides, movies don't always protray psychopathy correctly anyways. he's also got quite a bit if trust issues and it takes a long time for him to warm up to anyone in general. sometimes (or most if the time) he may never warm up at all.
