Laser Bean

They say the world has many heroes, those that are noticed, and beloved by the public, and those that prefer to work behind the scenes. This was the case for this unlikely hero.

While others around him dominated the competition, striking fear into their opponents, along the likes of astrovera and the other proclaimed "legends" of the garden, this plant was different. He did not need the spotlight.

He considered himself amongst a rare breed, one might even call him super rare. His skin such a beautiful shade of green, and his charming, bright smile shining in the light, leaving those around him star-struck and in awe of his beauty.

He has become known amongst his people. Raised by a family of weenie beanies, struggling to survive. He had to work his way up through the ranks, training non-stop to become the best of his kind, to surpass his comrades jelly bean and bean counter.

For years he mastered his craft, until one day, he made a name for himself. The mighty warrior solar flare was faced with smarms of gargantuars in the lanes in front of her. The legendary plants were nowhere to be found. Reinforcements were running low.

This is when the laser bean was tossed into the battle. Faced with insufferable odds, it was time for the warrior to unleash his true power and to surpass the levels of the typical beans. With a great surge of power the bean concentrated all of his energy into his eyes, generating a powerful beam of light so strong, it was able to break through the enemy lines and damage the giant zombie commander located behind them, thus defeating him in a fiery blaze.

He had earned victory. Legends spread of the great bean, and his past made its way into folklore.

He was known, as the laser bean. Unlikely hero of the great plant and zombie war.
