- IC Name: Fuuma, Amagai
- What you are applying for: Lion Sage Mode
- What you will do/Why you want it: I've always had Amagai play catch up to Mako in order to stand next to them through thick or thin, so him wanting to overcome himself and his own problems through the physical and mental strain of learning sage mode felt like the best 'natural' character progression, even if he has to become and enemy to the world just for his goals.
- Also it's a given condering he felt abandoned by Kirigakure and others after he once discovered the one person he held a connection to in his life basically taking their own life. (sorry, this was made weeks ago, some more things happened icly, but this was the base of what lead Amagai to seek the sage creature.)
- RP sample/Development:
- Fuuma, Amagai took a small breath as he focused himself as he steadies started to combine all he learned from watching Mako's application of senjustu while also incorporating what he learned from the sage creatures during his travels. He never told Mako, but for a couple of years he was not in Kirigakure, in fact he traveled, trying to forget what he saw, and trying to improve himself.
- He wanted to strengthen himself, 'grow' from his current self. He took an exasperated sigh as he came to his destination, the ‘Lion’s Den,’ the place where the Red maned beast stayed. Steeling himself he pressed forward as he entered the den to meet with the sage creature, the Red maned Lion.
- “I’m here to seek your trail.” Amagai immediately blurted out as he turned his attention to the king himself waiting for their reply, his gaze lowered as he squeezed his hand into fist remaining steadfast in his decision, he would already travel this far into the mountains just to find the sage creature, hell one of these only ones refusing to be summoned he feel.
- The Lion simply staggered up, it seemed like it was examining the Fuuma thoroughly before it opened its maw soon releasing a thunderous roar that shook the vary cave asunder. Amagai had to stand firm as he felt his ear drums starting to rupture, blood seeping from his orifices as he felt the sudden pain of the roar filling his body. He felt his organs starting to twist and churn under the pressure before he slowly stood up, trying to fight against the roar.
- “I..” he moved his hand away from his mouth wiping off the blood as he felt his vision swaying as he used the wall to help support himself. His body quivered with each movement as the roar continued to reverberate through his body making it hard for him to stand correctly, but he braved through it as he palmed the side of the wall, standing up, although he exhausted most of his energy.
- “This isn’t enough to stop me.” He stated soon releasing a small breath before he spat whatever blood that boiled in his mouth. He felt the pain was a necessary requirement to go through, sadly. He did not know what Mako went through, but he needed to brave through this no matter how foolish it was.
- He stood his ground as he watched the Sage Lion approaching, sizing him up before he moved up to bite and squeeze their fangs into Amagai’s body. “AAAAGGGGHHH!!!” He was carried deeper into the Lion’s Den; it was here when his true test was being held. Amagai could feel himself slightly losing consciousness as the mixture of nature energy and his own blood lost mixed in finely before he was placed under a tree.
- “Here is where you’ll see if you’re truly worthy of taking in my senjustu I’ve injected into you.”
- The Redmaned Lon stated as he licked the blood that was once Amagai’s. “Ahh, from your blood a Fuuma,” he laughed before continuing “you must be confused what’s happening with your body. The senjustu I’ve mixed in with my saliva should be working now, during this trail your body will be constantly under pain as you transform into a beast, like my pack before you, unlike those toads I prefer the more direct approach, if you can’t properly get control over your body, you’ll become a lion, a cub so to speak.” He cackled as they lowered their head to palm the now writhing Fuuma. “But do try to give me a good show.”
- Amagai growled at the notion he was being toyed with as he felt the pain tearing at his muscles as he felt is bones twisting. “AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!” He roared as he cried out as he struggled at first to gain full control over himself, he felt the hairs starting to sprout around his body as he carefully picked himself up as he thrashed about as he opened is maw to bite down into his palm to use some pain to gain some control as he was able to draw blood.
- It seemed that was some sort of key in order to gain even a bit of control over himself. Spitting out blood he gritted his teeth as he slammed his head against the ground as he continued to thrash and struggle.
- As Amagai’s cries and struggle echo’d through the cave the Redmaned Lion licked the Fuuma’s blood as he listened to the cries.
- “That boy, through his blood I was able to taste some interesting things, fear, determination, longing, lust, humans are such interesting creatures.” He laughed as he lowered himself listening to the painful wails of Amagai.
- While in the cave Amagai’s blood continued to paint the walls red as he thrashed about, his voice slowly growing hoarse as he started losing track of the time, he spent banging his head against the surface trying to adapt to the various muscle spasms and pain that made his body feel like he was being torn asunder. His hair was nearly dyed with blood as he struggled to keep his mind intact.
- “Mako....if this is what you had to go through…I’ll do it tenfold. Just give me strength...I’ll do this tenfold…just for you.” He growled remembering just why he was going through all these trails. As for the training, one would have to remain still, right? Amagai could not properly recall doing such a thing as he was always active, but that was how he had used to absorb natural energy throughout his pours in his body. Right now, he was in a perfect meditative space underneath the large tree. A small breath escaped his mouth as he started to clear away some of the distractions in his mind around him, but when he did this, when he could no longer hear anything, he felt a heavy sense of isolation. Perhaps he was not used to this feeling? Maybe just the thought of nearing nothing, seeing nothing, etc. just made him feel empty inside?
- He did not exactly know as a pained breath escaped his mouth as he started to relax his senses briefly to become more aware of the sounds of nature around him. He sighed to himself as he started to relax a bit while taking in the sounds around him from the snow melting and falling onto the leaves, the birds nesting within the tree to the wolves being on the move in the distance. He never fully realized how nature truly connected everyone in a different plane after he opened himself to it all.
- The wildfires continued to conflagrate in his mind as the overabundance of energy continued to weigh on him heavily. He once again felt the temptation to take in more than he wanted to do so, did not know what came over him, was it just the nature of being a Fuuma kicking in again? He knew he felt it before, but this time was overwhelming.
- Fuuma breathing became more erratic as he broke his concentration and broke off a bit. He needed to calm himself, or something, just getaway. He could feel his temptations as a shinobi rising to gain more power, but why was he like this?
- Honestly, he was scared to see what would happen, mostly scared of himself. He knew the capabilities he could possibly wrought; it all went back to two individuals, the Yokai and his deceased Fuuma clan member. Their presence still ruled over his mind as he attempted to regain his composure as he thought of the last time, he saw them.
- He remembered an influx of emotions overtaking him at once at one point. He had to grip his chest a bit too slowly calm himself down as he splashed water on his face a bit as he shook his head a bit. Maybe it was due to the emotions he had previously locked away, things he had to readily confront after all those times he was even shunned by his own clan, the sins of the father, they called it.
- Lifting his hand towards the metaphorical dam, he pried open the cracks letting loose all the pint up emotions at once forcing himself to become at peace with himself.
- On the outside, Amagai’s body began a rapid change, the black hair that was dyed red slowly shined becoming a red mane of hair that flowed down his back, is gaze became more pronounced as his cold blue eyes were replaced with a red hue, his canines became more pronounced as he stood tall before releasing a thunderous roar throughout the cave singling his success in properly gaining some access to senjustu before collapsing.
- “Well, done, cub.” The Redmaned Lion stated, soon plucking up the lad, taking them away from the cave to recover their grievous wounds.
