- Hello its Kinoshita Yuuka
- I ate this ramen before but this one is a spicy one: spicy tonkotsu ramen (pork based) and this is the last of my rafute (pork belly) so I will use this as a topping as well as some char siu ( a flavored pork I sometimes see it called BBQ but its not really BBQ pork ) alright lets cook!
- I made some eggs I will put 3 in the ramen and 3 in the char siu donburi bowl I boiled the water then let them sit in it for 5 minutes
- lets make the sauce for the char siu pork
- soy sauce 3 Tbsp
- mirin (sweet cooking wine) 3 Tbsp
- sugar 3 Tbsp
- cooking wine <maybe chinese cooking wine> 1.5 Tbsp
- I will put the rafute in and pour over the sauce we just made and cook
- ooh the soup smells hot
- time for the char siu bowl I was only able to fit around 2 cups in this bowl and in the middle we place the eggs I showed you earlier
- ooooh they came out nicely! so runny! and then we toss on top of this some green onion
- its ready
- now we use the char siu and egg
- place green onion on top
- spicy pork ramen is ready as well
- tadaa the spicy pork ramen and char siu donburi bowl ITADAKIMASU
- lets start with the soup
- its totally not ho----- oh its a kinda hot well, is not that bad the pork flavor comes through nicely and there is an aftertaste of heat in your throat its nice an hot for sure even though its an instant ramen
- it tastes alright but just a bit spicy
- ok I'll eat from the char siu bowl it totally looks yummy
- look it looks so good itadakimasu
- the sauce is nice and sweet and it goes nicely with the rice
- the rafute here is very good the egg came out so nicely and is properly runny
- I fixed the light
- the heat kind of hits you in the throat
- this amount... its not hot or anything like that but eating this much of it might be a bit tough to get through to be honest
- but its good-its good the egg is good
- these noodles aren't they a bit long? I feel they're longer than regular instant ramen noodles. is it just my imagination? hmmmm
- hmm onions go nicely in a ramen don't they? green onions taste nice but I think I like the white ones a bit more
- its spicy and I'm getting hot as well
- so hot
- I've pretty well gotten through all the noodles I'm so hot...
- I will.... eat this bowl of char siu along side the ramen. whenever I order char siu bowls I usually leave a lot left over and eat it like this
- I kind of made a bit too much sauce for this char siu bowl at first I thought I Was going to be making 4 cups of rice but when I placed the 4 cups of rice in this bowl there was very little room for the char siu anymore so I should have halved the sauce as well...
- the ramen is done
- ahh its a bit spicy and now char siu bowl
- I've been calling it a char siu bowl but its really a rafute... its kind of the same thing no?
- the last bite itadakimasu
- the rafute bowl is done
- the food I bought on my trip to okinawa is now all gone well it was fun visiting there and I want to go back again and this time I really want to swim in the ocean a small isolated or private island is where I want to go... I want to go there so bad.
