As Nepo continues, he shrugs, tilting his head. "I cannot truthfully say I was not a student of Malentine. He did teach me, yes, before the city Baukdengrad fell. Monster or no, it helps to learn from one's enemies. I am, now, not a student of his. We have not spoken in years."

Even as he addresses Nepo, he seems to be more focused on Kuhn, faint amusement still in his expression.

A hand raises up, and a wall of force similar to the one that Epsilon had tried to erect forms before the Nagual.

"Instead of coming back to Gehenna and working with us to fix the tribes and fight our various enemies, you come back only because Ohtli told you to. Ohtli, who despises your sin and what you've become. There's no point in running from us or the reality of your situation anymore, Nepotietl."

An aura of the storm appears around him and another sigh slips out.

"Stay, and we'll sort this out with Ohtli. Or flee, and declare yourself an enemy of Gehenna. Your fate.. is in your hands."

He only holds the wall up long enough for the nagual to hear every word that he had to say. Whether or not he stays after is up to him.

[22:17] It seemed as though the dynamic of Gehenna was in question once more. Without speaking much of a word. The wolf gave chase behind the few who could keep up.

Giving a slight pause in his words, the young Chieftain's body would surge; giving chase to his fellow Nagual, knowing full well Kuhn had his back. Able to stop his departure from a distance. And only then, once he's in range would he add,

"You went under our noses while we were gone."

Crouching slightly, his hand would reach over to grab hold of the dagger at his waist; his gaze shifting over towards Kuhn for just a moment. He was giving the man another chance, so he would hold out on his attack. For now, at least.

"You should think on your choice, make the right one."

This entire situation was beyond disrespectful. Instead of just asking them, and believing the things they said. They would rathergo under their noses, doing things without their permission. It was insulting.

"You enter the city, demanding that I, trusted advisor to Kuhn, leave immediately, under advisement of a woman acting directly against the interests of your chieftans.

Then, when I said you should take this up with Kuhn, Mital, and Hatsu, all of whom are trusting in my being here, you said you care nothing for their judgements."

He frowns, as if surprised that he's ended up listing points against Nepo, despite how obviously intentional it was. "And now, rather than stay and explain yourself, you attempt to flee, threatening to hunt down each and every one of us.

[22:37] The dryad glanced between Epsilon, Nepo, Mital, and Kuhn. Mixed feelings were had for perhaps two of those individuals. Even if the past was the past, the dryad held certain grudges.

Though to who she held the most resentment for at the moment was unknown.

"Threats aren't taken kindly to. When you try to run on top of that, it doesn't paint a good picture; no matter what you say, you've betrayed Gehenna before and you'd obviously do it again. You may hate our enemies, but that doesn't make you a friend of ours automatically."

[22:41] The Kumo was one of the few people he would listen to. One of the few 'old time Gehennans' that he still made time for. So the shark does just that, eyes studying his back as the man's unique aura danced about him.

It used to make the Prince of Sirens feel emptiness. Immense and insatiable hunger. But those days of his that were primarily driven by fear had come and gone, and what remained was a twinge of something else that had been planted through close proximity like a seed.

Kuhn wanted what was best for Gehenna, certainly. But he also wanted more. More wealth for the people. More power to throw around, even if it was only really used to make their enemies think twice. So despite Nepo's seemingly selfish lifestyle and his desire to carry out and act on Ohtli's requests of him, Kuhn still wanted the nagual in Gehenna. A valuable asset when focused.

He allows the others to speak, that shark-toothed grin of his increasing in size as they do.

"You won't find Malentine in Gehenna. And you damn sure won't find him in Crafthold. If you really wanted to kill him, you'd head north." The last word he utters echoes a few times, as if he was trying to bury it in the man's very subconscious. To test him and see if he was even still capable of being the monster that Leland once used as a trophy of strength.

He had already stopped caring about everything else.

"You're more than just someone's errand boy, Nepotietl. Prove it to the rest of Gehenna and bring back the head of a vampire, and we can move beyond this. Like you said years ago, there's no point in making enemies of each other when there are so many others out there waiting."

[22:46] Slowly repeating the words of his fellow Chieftain, the young Nagual's eyes would narrow in on the Kumo.

Some years ago; there was always that hint of fear when dealing with the sin of Gluttony, but now? Times had change. Either that, or the young Nagual had gotten full of himself. Either way, he was speaking in full confidence as he uttered the words.

Kuhn had already told him where he could find Malentine. But, it's clear that he wasn't about to run off to go find him. Either. People were goading him on. Perhaps it was out of malice, or maybe it was just how they truly felt about Leland.

"You can do as Kuhn said. Go north, and fight him. Or.."

Glancing around the square, the young Nagual's words would slowly cut off.

Emotions were boiling into rage as the situation continued, logic completely thrown out of the window while her mind urged her to do something; mere talk would not help her at all. Nearby greenery slowly came to life, wriggling and shifting as it heeded the particularly furious dryad's call.

Slayder looked a bit surprised when Seshu would join Nepotietl's side odds already being stacked against them both as the others would seem to prepare to battle them. Slayder looked at Seshu as a friend, this being enough to make him sit on the sidelines and spectate for now.

He'd retort as the dryad would begin untangling their anger and revealing it in the form of magical vines. "Give nagual chance to hunt vampires, now turn to slay. Ego. . . Anger. . . Panther will /never/ return. If this continues." And his words strung together for once, held emotion.

Straining his lungs to breathe as he felt a pit in his gut begin to form once more. Staring down those who'd have likely kicked him out, eventually. After-all. He never did assist with the politics of the land.

Merely capitalizing on his expertise and taking his aid to hunting down the vampiric kind that stepped into scared lands. "As said prior, will slay Nepo. For actions same done by blind man. Blind man whom trained beneath vampire kind. Has spoken honest, yes? No long-term goal. . . What if he comes up with one? One that /will/ tear a part Gehenna."

Vocalizing now why he'd stand beside the nagual. "Cannot allow lands to suffer, once more." He'd claim, shrouding his body within a thick layer of shadows. Even when faced against so many as he has been before.

His bravery held him firm in place. Beliefs in that Ixchel, Saekanis; would guide him.

They came and went like the winds. The cycle of life continues and hence forth.

Even should the wolf fall here, he'd make his words reach them, even if it meant his body could move no longer, afterwards. Wringing his arms up despite their lack of strength as the battle dragged on.

Images that were once in focus had begun to blur. Swinging now at individuals he thought were there and weren't.

His thoughts felt like a cry for help and yet that's all they were. Thoughts bottled up in his head.

All left to black when feeling his limbs be encroached upon by the likes of thick ivy vines. Cradling his form they constricted and tightened, threatening to crack him into pieces if this kept up.

Mangaing to break free only once he mustered enough strength to bear his claws. Doused in mana, they shook free and slashed in one foul swoop, clearing away the structures that bound him.

And yet, in such a weakened state he could only flee by this point. Turning immediately without a second thought as the conclusion had died down. The muffled voices of the Gehennians coming into reach as they spoke of finding the two.

But maybe both, or one or none would be found.

As the wolf quickly departed from the scene.

[23:33] The battle's victors were clear from the beginning.

Perhaps some of their ancestors wouldn't have seen such a fight as honorable in the slightest, but the only thing on Tonantzin's mind was anger and revenge. Everyone's attacks in combination proved far too much for the two lone warriors to handle; Kuhn's storm, Mital's ferocity while using his blessing from Ixchel, Keaka's monstrous sword dealing near deadly blows from the sheer weight, Epsilon's darkened fire magic scorching the land as it went, and Tonantzin's very control of nature, water, and earth.

Earthquakes are used to destabilize their footing while jets of water threaten to outright shatter bone from the sheer force. Even the nature itself was threatening to kill Nepotietl and Seshu; vines lined with vicious thorns lashed and struck at the pair.

Eventually the dangerous plantlife finds and open. Directed by Tonantzin's will, a small army of vines lash out at Nepotietl and Seshu again, both aiming to grasp and constrict the pair with terrifying force. One of her vines wrap around the Ookami's arm, coiling to such a degree that they broke the man's forearm from the force of it.

However, he manages to slip free; Tonantzin soon focuses her gaze on the nagual himself.

The vines all work to constrain him, tightening around his torso, arms, legs, and even his neck, leaving him trapped and subject to the dryad's mercy.

Once the battle is settled, she looks to her allies, then to the beast himself.

"This is it where it all ends, Nepo'. Maybe it could have ended up different if you knew who to help on the faithful day, the day where we lost everything.

[23:36] Epsilon grins as the battle draws to an end, folding his arms behind him, still clutching the staff diagonally. He hovers ominously above Nepo, as if baiting Tonantzin to strike the killing blow sooner in fear that he himself might strike the former war chief down.

[23:43] As the battle would erupt, Slayder could watch no more with the thought of Seshu or any of his other allies getting hurt in mind. He was able to keep relatively calm without throwing himself into the battle, although probably for not much longer. For now, he retreated home to begin to get himself ready for bed. This had been a looong day.

Around his neck contained the giant pulled and beaten down. There was no rage.. no expression pasted him. For a short time tears started to stream down his face as each person he killed started to visit within his strange hazy view of life's end.

A silver light would spring from his body emitting the gluttony sin magic that held within himself. His body started to pulse and within his skin movements, Hands... feet.... Heads... Mouths.. could be seen as an outline of his gut. His body now expanding and becoming more bigger then he usually is.. up to the point.

An explosion of blood and body parts could be seen falling to the ground as nepo pops like a bubble.. The gore falls like rain entrails of nepo along with thirteen others fall to the ground and creates a disgusting smell of death.
