The midnight sky was speckled with a few stars and the faint ever present glow from the city. Sitting in the amphitheater, surrounded by the hills and the scrubby trees. Max Wall liked to come here and think. Occasionally taking a drag from the smoldering half-forgotten cigarette hanging from his fingers. Thinking tomorrow he would have to head to Josten City  for a spell, get away from this crowded place. He had some friends up there he hadn't seen in some time. Ya, that would be the ticket. go up and see Marian and Joe, and take his niece out to dinner .  It had been what , 3 years, since he had seen her last?  Well past time to go and catch up.
