「CHAPTER 3: SLEEPING BEAUTY」

× PERSONALITY: she's your typical homebody, an inquisitive girl who have this mindset of how everything can be fixed in the world with rainbows and smiles!- i'm joking, she's smarter than that but, i wasn't joking about her being inquisitive. growing up, she pondered about whimsical and nonsense questions like, "why couldn't flowers be named bloomers?" or "if two gold coins cost a fish that's twice as large as that small fish that costs five gold coins, then how do that work?"

yuheon was also the observant type, she notices things other people normally don't like change in behaviour or how people's eyes have a different flick of color in their pupils. her friends would always brush it off, saying it was weird for compliments to be coming from a person like her.

lastly, she takes the time to appreciate. time was never a problem for her, it was just a ticking time bomb waiting to explode with some of the best and worst scenarios. you'd probably see her cooking food or strolling around the town center with a sketchbook and a red crayon pencil.
× BACKSTORY: born in ilsan, south korea, she was born as sun yuhyeon, the star child of kyeongjun and jihyeo. she was their self-proclaimed spokesperson by how she would talk about them so often to random strangers who'd she win over with her charm. when her mother died from illness, she stormed out of the room and into the woods where she eventually got her trauma from. the woods were filled with terrifying shadows and taunting voices which targeted her and her only. the dark place only fueled her anxiety of going outside even.

fast forward to a few months later, her father married a woman who introduced herself as jeon jaehee. jaehee was a conceited and her world revolved around also of herself and wasn't a big fan of yuheon and treated her like maid with the excuse of disciplining her.

one time, yuheon didn't want to experience this anymore so she just ran away into a forest because isn't that what they do in most books? anyways, she saw some pretty horrendous stuff; a dead and mangled body of a child in a red cloak holding hands with her seemingly grandmother who's neck's insides were showing.

needless to say, she ran back and embraced housework with open arms after hearing a noise that scared her out of her wits.

× HIS PERSONALITY: a total brat but, it's only to hide his soft spots. sure, he's cheery at times but, that's when he's with people he trusts. he has an ice cold demeanour and is usually titled as 'rude' and 'indifferent.' he's hardworking, the only good trait that people seem to see in him; he does his best to do good for his people but, subtly. such as asking a servant to give out free books and bread to the children or laying out breakfast for father and saying naveen did it.
× HIS BACKSTORY: being the younger half, he was deemed insignificant compared to his older counterpart. he was always overlooked by a multitude of people who favoured naveen a little too much for his liking.

growing up, only his aunt and a few sensible servants liked him. they noticed how strong-willed and headstrong he was unlike the lot of the kingdom which fell for naveen's charms.

one time, he decided to go for a walk in the forest only to see two dead bodies of seemingly a grandmother and her grandchild. they seemed mauled to death and other gruesome things of a sort. he saw wolf hair on the bodies and a knife dug into a tree near the scene. as he grabbed the knife and shoved it onto the forest floor, he heard fast footsteps bolt away from his direction.

confused and a little disturbed, he returned to the castle without reporting the incident.

contrary to popular belief, he does like his cousin. he's just annoyed from being overlooked so often.

「CHAPTER 6: THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG」

× HOW DID YOU TWO MEET: they had close calls with eachother, one of them being the forest scene. they would meet by accident such as him running away from his parents and her, being clueless about this man, welcomed him into her home.
× HOW SHE FELT ABOUT HIM AT FIRST: she thought he was cute but, that immediately was washed away when he said his first words to her. "pity that i have to stay in this house."
× HOW HE FELT ABOUT HER AT FIRST: he thought she was one of those village girls that were head over heels for naveen so he toys with her for a while, throwing in sarcasm and rudeness just for a reaction.

「CHAPTER 7: TANGLED」

× HER LIFE IN THE VILLAGE: she's known for her beauty and she kinda hates it; people are nice to her just for her looks and boys approach her all the time for the same reason. she's popular for being "the pretty girl" but, that's completely it. she's friends with most of the orphanage kids since she gets uncomfortable around people other than her dad and stepmom.

why step mom, you ask? well, she's technically her mom so she feels at least a little security from her.

× HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT THE OTHER GIRLS: wary and cautious at some when she first met them. she looks up to them and asks them for advice or guidance for some things, of course, and she hangs out with a few of them alot since they count as her first friends.
× HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT THE OTHER BOYS: awkward. i mean, they're all guys AND princes plus yuheon had never gotten any experience in comunicating with men in any form. she grew up as a homebody and only goes out when she needs to.

× ANY KIND OF SCENES THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE STORY: cross-dressing scene where prince dude has to dress like a girl to hide from his dad's servants, yuheon triggered a trap by throwing a shoe at a gargolye statue and the girls doing stupid stuff when the prince dudes aren't keeping watch.

「CHAPTER 8: BLACKPINK NEEDS A COMEBACK」

× BACKSTORY: conceited and full of love only for herself, she hates yuheon with a passion. each day, she'd have compliments from townspeople and travellers alike as she is definitely something to marvel at. during one fine day, high noon, a traveller decided to talk about a girl who greeted him when he entered her village and deemed her fair which excelled in both meanings.

needless to say, SUBLIME was furious, jealous and stressed, but also insecure. she prided herself on her visuals and to see that was taken from her, she broke a little more.

SUBLIME grew up in a cottage with many siblings and her parents would call her the runt of the group. they called her ugly and a sight to behold, they even commented on how frail and skinny she was. she tried tactics to fit in with beauty standards, only to get rude and insensitive comments about it.

finally, she got sick of it and left the cottage. just recently, she visited her family, with another name, and lead them out of the house for while. when they were out of ear shot, she burnt it down.
