- Count Cluck says, "Kin..."
- Murmux asks, "Yes? What- is it?"
- Count Cluck says, "Tell me."
- Count Cluck says, "Did your people kill mine."
- Murmux says, "Cassio- had sworn- to kill Stella. Threatened- to burn down- Eidolon."
- Murmux says, "Lief attempted- to settle it down- after Cassio attacked- us."
- Murmux says, "We did not accept- that apology- and took Cassio's head."
- Murmux says, "Conflict- escalated- afterward."
- Count Cluck says, "Tell me."
- Count Cluck says, "Will you be getting involved in this conflict."
- Count Cluck says, "<cluck>"
- Murmux says, "Yes. Askaheim denizens- wish Eidolon dead. I have plans- with Eidolon."
- Murmux says, "--Unacceptable."
- Count Cluck says, "And you know the same goes here for me correct. I cannot let the humans here...perish."
- Murmux says, "Then tell them- to stand down- to not pursue- revenge- for Cassio's death."
- Murmux says, "Cassio did- the wrong move- and paid for it."
- Murmux says, "If Askaheim denizens- wish to pursue vengeance- for something they would not allow themselves--"
- Murmux says, "Then they're doing- a wrong move- as well."
- The chicken would cluck and begin to peck back in forth.
- "Understand I mention this before. *cluck* Once Lady Tragedy had been...killed. This would come to be. *Cluck* I do seek to fight my own kin. She would not want us to do such things. There is no winning for either of us for fighting one another. There is no win for Gaiar when their settlements are killing one another. *cluck*"
- The chicken was not happy.
- "*Cluck* But...Cassio was a important piece. He was stupid yes. Dumb for doing what he did yes. But you killed him. *cluck* What did you believe would occur? *cluck* Punishment is right. *cluck* Even I would punished him for his idocy but we both know once you kill something of the humans they don't back down. *Cluck*"
- The chicken would simply eye his kin.
- "*Cluck* Bring up a solution. And I why spek mine. But they want blood for blood understand that kin. And tell me what did you do with our fish. *cluck*"
- (Count Cluck)
- The beady eyes of the Insectoid constantly remained upon Count Cluck as it spoke, giving it a large squint inbetween the speeches. But the Demon was not moved by it - the likes of Tragedy have secured themselves a good position, and no longer they had to be concerned for their own growth.
- Unlike Kaors, that is. Perhaps, it was a cunning strategy by Tragedy to ensure no one else ascends, who knows?
- "I care little- for what Tragedy has said. For what- Archons- or other Demons say. I have- my own goals- and should anyone cross them- they will die- eventually."
- With a pause, it began speaking once more.
- "Cassio- was an idiot- that made claims- he could not follow through. For that- he paid- with his life. If Askaheim denizens- want blood- then they will have it."
- "But the only blood they will have- is their own."
- "As for your 'fish'- there was no Sirenian- that I know of- that has suffered any ill fate."
- Although, the tension around Murmux has been certainly growing far deeper. This Demon was a true embodiment of selfishness and self-driven goals, to which, it took a step closer to Count Cluck.
- "But I warn you- kin."
- "Do not- think of standing- in my way. I have little restrain- against those- that dare cross my goals. It is I- who pushed- for Cassio's death."
- "I have allies- far stronger- than this Askaheim- will ever be. And I am- very- very resourceful."
- "Do not- stand in my way."
- "Or perish."
- (Murmux)
- The chicken was not at all intimidated or frighten by his kin.
- He would hear the words. The chicken would cluck. It would simply just gaze. "*Cluck* I see then. We all have different mind sets after all. *cluck* This is fine. *Cluck*"
- He would then also step up.
- "*Cluck* Do not try to intimidate me kin. I'm no human. *cluck*"
- He would hear the warning. "*Cluck* Understand this. I don't seek war. But...*cluck* Do not threaten me again. You have your goals and I have mine. I don't seek war. But if you ever force threats again. *Cluck* You will get one. *cluck*"
- The chicken didn't seek to battle another kaor.
- But like all demons he was not the type to run if pushed.
- (Count Cluck)
- The reason why Murmux did this was far bigger than just to attempt to intimidate.
- It was to send the message. A message that clearly showed that the Demon was in all seriousness considering the option of war, should it come to that - and seeing that Askaheim denizens have pushed for it all the time, it seemed to be inevitable.
- "If you do not seek war-"
- "Then you were already told- what to do. But what you actually do- with such information- seems to be of little relevance."
- "If Askaheim denizens- push for war- they will be slain. We have defeated them- once- with utter shame- put on their heads. Not a single one- of our magi- has been defeated."
- "And there is always- more powerful allies- that I can bring."
- With that, the Insectoid walked right past Count Cluck, intending to be on its way somewhere else. The conversation has been going nowhere, other than exchange of words - and unless Count Cluck was going to pursue the Insectoid, it's where their talk will remain.
- "Heed my warning- kin. Or don't... and suffer- the consequences- eventually."
- (Murmux)
- Count would then peck the ground.
- "*Cluck* Humans are strange creatures. They have the tendacy to do things we will never expect. *cluck*" He would hear the other words. The chicken would let his kin go on with its business. After all they both didn't seek to fight one another...for now.
- "*Cluck* I will see to things. *Cluck* Lets hope it doesn't come to it. *Cluck*"
- He would hear about the allies. "*cluck* Interesting...You be safe kin. I shall heed these words to...heart. *Cluck*" The tension was high but indeed the two settled it without battle. Sadly the fool Cassio was to dead to do the same. Sad...
