- Covet: -Kelsey was sitting in a booth with her nose burried in a book. She was biting her lip, clearly engrossed in the words, as her eyes darted across the page. She had a small plateful of cookies sitting with her on the table and a glass of milk that she was dipping them in.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss rolled inside of the diner. "Pick up for Maverick." She told the woman at the counter softly in a somber tone. "It's fine I can wait." She waved her hand at her then looked over to Kelsey. "Good evening!" Bliss called out to her, though her excitement sounded forced.
- Covet: -Kelsey looked up hearing Bliss and smiled giving her a wave- Hey Bliss, how are you doing? -she asked her, then picked up the plate of cookies offering one out to her.- Would you like one? Happy to share
- Tsaaq: She shook her head, rejecting the cookies gently. "No, I already ordered food for my family and I." Bliss answered. "Thank you though." She said before rolling over to her. "I'm doing satisfactory, what about you?"
- Covet: Okay, No worries. I'm just enjoying some reading, and enjoying the non-argumentative environment. It's nice to be able to escape in a book -she responded and set the plate down, marking her spot, so she could pick it back up later. She didn't want to be rude-
- Tsaaq: "Oh... okay. That was oddly specific." Bliss darted her eyes while speaking awkwardly. "But that is always good to hear." She gave Kelsey a stiff thumbs up. "What book is that anyways/" She asked, tilting her head to look at it.
- Covet: Sorry. Silly drama at the dorms last night. It fizzled out quick. But the content of it, is making me want to be a little less social today. -Kelsey said, giving her a smile- It's called Running Circles, by T.R. I've been reading a few books by this author. This one is really gripping. The writer is surprisingly good.
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head slowly then shrugged. "It's fine." She whispered. Bliss furrowed her eyebrows and put her hand on the book. "Do you mind if I skim it?" She asked quickly.
- Covet: Sure, It's a murder mystery sort of type. If you are into such things. -Kelsey told her handing the book over to Bliss, then picked up a cookie, dunking it in her milk before she took a bite.-
- Tsaaq: "Uh huh." Bliss said, quickly flipping through the pages and furrowing her eyebrows, she remained silent for a while before closing the book quickly. "Oh wow." She forced a gritted smile and spoke through her teeth. "This is really something." Bliss slowly nodded her head again.
- Covet: -Kelsey furrowed her brow- I know it's not something like any of the classics, but it's better than romance smut books. And there is a mystery in it. Which is why it's sort of an escape, I suppose. Anyways. -she said waving her hand- How have you been?
- Tsaaq: "Oh no no no, it's great. I definitely understand." Bliss said with a faux grin before her face fell a little bit. "I'm fine. As always." She replied, almost relieved to be talking about something else.
- Covet: -Kelsey raised her eyebrows and gave her a supportive smile- Are you sure? I don't know but you seem Tense maybe? Something's off.
- Tsaaq: She pursed her lips then shrugged her shoulders slightly. "Yeah I'm sure. Everything is fine." Bliss continued to say. "Just spending a lot of time alone." She whispered.
- Covet: Oh, That's so sad. -Kelsey said looking at Bliss, talking to her in a sincere tone- Nobody should be spending a lot of their time alone. You know if you want someone to talk to and be a little less lonely, you can text or we can meet up whenever.
- Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head. "Oh no, it's fine. I like being by myself." She said softly then pursed her lips. "Or I'm used to it. I just have to detox from people sometimes." She said with a raise of her hands a moment. "But thank you for the offer."
- Covet: It's okay. I understand. I think I'm kind of in the same mood right now. Maybe not that extreme, but I get the idea. -Kelsey said with a nod- You are very welcome. You are always so helpful to other people, it makes it easy to do the same for you.
- Tsaaq: She kept her lips pursed as she put her hands in her lap, smoothing down her skirt. "It's just simpler." Bliss said quietly. "I suppose I am. It's doesn't people actually listen, lately I feel as if I'm wasting my time."
- Covet: I'm sorry you feel that way. Is there anything I can do to help make you feel better? You think people would be more inclined to listen, you're rather intelligent after all. In greek and roman times, people would have come to you, just to listen... for crying out loud.
- Tsaaq: She lifted her hand to Kelsey then shook her head. "Really, it's fine." Bliss said with a small sigh. "I've got most of the coping mechanisms required to live in this type of society. Or at least I'd like to think so. But again thank you." She smiled at Kelsey then let out an exasperated exhale.
- Covet: No problem. Sorry your food is taking so long tonight. I'm not really sure what the hold up is. Hopefully your family isn't too hungry. -Kelsey said with a frown, looking towards the kitchen doors-
- Tsaaq: "Oh it's not even that big of a deal. Persephone barely eats and the others didn't even know I ordered it. I spent a lot of time at home this weekened and noticed that we don't have a lot of things in the pantry. I don't even know why." Bliss sighed and glanced at the kitchen doors. "Maybe I should go grocery shopping all we seemed to be fully stocked on is libations."
- Covet: Libations? Oh alcohol? Yeah you can't really survive off of that. If you need a lot of things, I can help you with the shopping. I imagine it'd be kind of hard to push a cart and yourself at the same time. -Kelsey said to her-
- Tsaaq: She opened her mouth to specify then nodded once Kelsey got there on her own. "Yeah, it'd definitely be hard." Bliss said before frowning. "I supposed I could use a little assistance..." She said, forming a small smile.
- Covet: I would happily assist. Just let me know when, and I can come pick you up and everything. -Kelsey gave her a friendly smile in return-
- Tsaaq: Bliss perked up a moment. "Alright, that sounds good. I've- I mean I have shopped for groceries. Just not in a long time." She said. "It's not something I usually do. I try to plan my meals so I take care of myself in the vein."
- Covet: That's the most efficient way to do it, that way you aren't wasting money on things you don't necessarily need. -Kelsey said with a grin, nodding her head-
- Tsaaq: "I think I'll make a shopping list." She said with a firm nod. "I think it's a good idea to make a list right. People make lists for that?" She asked with her eyebrows furrowed.
- Covet: Yes, absolutely. Makes it totally easy to keep organized in there. Sometimes people aren't the most courteous at the grocery store. They'll cut in front of you, run into you. But We'll be alright. Grocery shopping is my second favorite type of shopping. -Kelsey told her-
- Tsaaq: She sighed with a bit of relief. "Oh? That's um, interesting." Bliss said but shrugged her shoulders in acceptance the looked to the counter where her family's food had been waiting. "I'll be over in a moment." She said to the waitress then turned to Kelsey. "Perhaps after my physical therapy? I'll already be in central Portland after all."
- Covet: That would work. I should be out of class by then no problem. I can just meet you there, then we can hit up the grocery store? -She asked her finishing up her milk, since her cookies were now gone-
- Tsaaq: "Of course. I'll just text you!" She said to Kelsey. "I should get going though. Before things get hectic. But I'll definitely talk to you tomorrow okay?" Bliss said as she rolled to the counter and took the large bag with the pick up order in it.
- Covet: Okay sounds perfect. Get home safely Bliss! -Kelsey said to her waving to her as she got a tip out of her purse- I should get back to Talon so I can get to bed. Thank you for the company tonight. Enjoy your food
- Tsaaq: She grinned. "You're welcome." Bliss said then waved her hand at Kelsey. "Thank you, I'm probably going to be fine. You get home safe too. I'll be contacting you tomorrow so be prepared." She called out, heading out the cafe as she took out her cellphone and heading home.
- Covet: I will, and I look forward to it! -Kelsey gathered her things up and made her way back to the dorms-
- Tsaaq: ((Woo.))
