  1. >Lucky Loud considered himself a prodigy
  2. >He had good grades, was popular and was the crush of nearly every female in his grade year
  3. >Even his sisters loved him, always going to him for help or just to hang out with
  4. >Yes, Lucky Loud was just that, lucky
  5. >Ever since his birth, he was always the center of attention
  6. >It's a little known fact that he had a fraternal twin
  7. >A one, Lincoln Loud
  8. >Lincoln was the quiet type, this is due in part to Lucky hogging the spotlight
  9. >His grades were average, he didn't have many friends at all, and his girlfriend Ronnie Ann was a bit different than other girls. This never bothered him though
  10. >At home, Lincoln was often forgotten, his parents rarely called specifically for him
  11. >They often asked about him through Lucky; "How's your brother been doing in school?", "Hey Lucky, you mind getting your brother for dinner? Thanks", etc.
  12. >Lincoln often felt like an outcast within his own home
  13. >This had been going on for years, ever since he and Lucky could talk, Lucky was the favorite son
  14. >A boiling pain had been stirring within Lincoln for a very long time
  15. >Not even his sisters gave him the time of day
  16. >He often confided in Ronnie Ann for comfort but wounds caused from family bonds being severed aren't easily healed
  17. >Especially when said wounds are reopened daily
  18. >...

  20. >Lucky had just got home from the arcade with friends, Lincoln having already returned hours ago
  21. >Lucky entered their shared room
  22. >"Hey bro, how was your day?" Lucky asked
  23. >Lincoln sighed, "The same as always, Lucky"
  24. >Lincoln had recently began feeling agitation any time he conversed with Lucky
  25. >It was a constant reminder of how inferior he was to his twin
  26. >"Oh c'mon Linky! Cheer up man, you can't live life with a frown on your face" Lucky replied, chuckling
  27. >'I can't live life with a physical embodiment of proof, constantly reminding me of how useless I am, living under the same roof as me' Lincoln thought bitterly
  28. >Regret filled Lincoln's heart for having such morbid thoughts. He loved his brother, he really did. But the pain stirring inside of him was beginning to be too much
  29. >"Sure, Lucky. I'll try" Lincoln eventually replied, sounding defeated
  30. >"That's the spirit, my man!" Lucky encouraged. "By the way, you mind inviting Ronnie Ann over this weekend? I've learned some killer strats in Zombie Outbreak 3 she might be interested in" Lucky suddenly asked
  31. >"Uh, sure..?" Lincoln replied, a bit confused
  32. >"I didn't know you and Ronnie Ann were friends" He stated, a slight tinge of worry filling his gut
  33. >"Oh yeah man, ever since you brought her over to hang out that one time, her and I have been real close dude" Lucky responded, not noticing the shocked expression coating Lincoln's face
  34. >"O-oh... Y-yeah, I'll invite her, Lucky" Lincoln agreed in a small voice
  35. >"Cool" Lucky finished
  36. >And with that, Lucky left the room. Leaving Lincoln to the hundreds of thoughts running through his head
  37. >'Why..?'
  38. >...

  40. >As promised, Lincoln had asked Ronnie Ann to come over on behalf of Lucky
  41. >"Sure!" She agreed happily. "Maybe now I'll be able to kick his ass at his own game" she then stated, grinning evilly.
  42. >The pit of Lincoln's stomach felt heavy; so many questions were flooding his mind
  43. >'How often do you guys talk?', 'Why haven't you mentioned that you and he were friends?', 'I thought we promised not to keep secrets from each other? How could you?!', etc
  44. >He didn't dare voice these inquires though, primarily because he didn't want to invoke her rage
  45. >But also because he didn't want to know at all
  46. >The steadily stirring pain began to churn faster
  47. >Lincoln had lost all motivation to do anything for the rest of the day
  48. >...

  50. >The weekend had arrived
  51. >Mom and dad, along with their ten other siblings, had gone to the beach, leaving Lucky and Lincoln at home
  52. >It was around 1PM when Ronnie Ann finally showed
  53. >Lucky was already downstairs when the bell rang
  54. >Lincoln rushed from their shared room, just barely catching the tail end of their conversation
  55. >".. yeah, I'm ready" Ronnie giggled
  56. >Events kept leading Lincoln's thought processes to worst case scenarios
  57. >Dread filled him as he listened in, hiding on the staircase just out of eyeshot
  58. >"Where's Lincoln?" Asked Ronnie
  59. >"Hmm? Not sure, he was in our room last time I saw him. Not sure now. Who cares anyway?" Lucky replied, grinning at Ronnie
  60. >She giggled, again
  61. >Lincoln's jaw slightly fell open in shock
  62. >'Is she being serious right now..?' he questioned within his mind
  63. >A ruffling of cloth could be heard
  64. >Both Ronnie's and Lucky's voices suddenly became hushed. Lincoln could barely decipher what they were saying
  65. >"..ucky stop, he ..come down.. ..oment" Ronnie Ann whispered
  66. >Heavy breathing could then be heard, coupled with the near silent sounds of something wet making contact with skin
  67. >Lincoln couldn't listen anymore
  68. >His heart felt so very heavy
  69. >He didn't even realize that tears began to fall down his flushed cheeks
  70. >'Ronnie, I trusted you.. how could you..?', 'I thought you and I meant something to each other..', '..I shared with you how he makes me feel and you go behind my back and cheat on me with him???', were some of the many thoughts that plagued Lincoln's mind at that moment
  71. >He silently ascended the stairs, trying his damnedest to ignore the fact that the heavy breathing had turned into soft moans, all uttering one name:
  72. >"Lucky..."
  73. >...
  74. >>10114064 (You)
  75. >Tears fell onto Lincoln's bedsheets
  76. >He was using his pillow to drown out noises that were being made downstairs
  77. >Noises that would rip him apart
  78. >His body shook almost violently from the sobs he was producing
  79. >At this point, Lucky had taken nearly everything from him
  80. >His parents, his sisters
  81. >The friends he'd never have
  82. >And now his girlfriend
  83. >And at this point, Lincoln finally realized
  84. >This was all intentional
  85. >His own brother caused him to silently fall into a downward spiral of depression
  86. >Years upon years of pain, all intentional
  87. >Making sure their parents never paid attention to him? Intentional
  88. >Out preforming him in nearly everything he did? Intentional
  89. >Taking away the last thing that kept him sane throughout this torment? The one thing Lincoln had cherished the most? The one thing who made him smile when things weren't going exactly right? The one thing he could honestly say he loved more than his family?
  90. >Intentional
  91. >The depression began to wilt, being replaced with something foreign
  92. >A feeling Lincoln was unfamiliar with but was immediately addicted to
  93. >A feeling so strong, he began to chuckle
  94. >It hit him harder than a two ton truck but as soon as he felt it, there was no doubt in Lincoln's mind, he knew exactly what it was
  95. >Pure, unadulterated, rage..
  96. >...
  97. >>10114399 (You)
  98. >Lincoln rose from his pathetic position on his bed
  99. >Leaving his room, he made his way into Lana and Lola's room, grabbing some spare rope Lana kept in the house
  100. >He then went into Lucy and Lynn's room, grabbing Lynn's favorite baseball bat
  101. >'Sorry Lynn, but you're probably going to need a new bat after this', Lincoln thought out loud
  102. >Lincoln's thoughts were in a frenzy, he was giggling uncontrollably
  103. >Ronnie had gotten louder, and the sounds of Lucky grunting soon joined her gasps and moans
  104. >This only fueled the blazing inferno within Lincoln's stomach
  105. >He made his way downstairs, trying to control his giggling, but honestly didn't not give a fuck
  106. >Upon reaching the bottom step, Lincoln saw, in reality, exactly what his mind had painted vividly not 20 minutes ago
  107. >Clothes were spread haphazardly across the living room floor
  108. >There, on the couch, Ronnie's caramel colored legs were wrapped around Lucky's waist
  109. >His head buried into the crook of her neck as he pounded her senseless
  110. >Sweat covered both of their bodies
  111. >Lincoln had stopped giggling
  112. >"Fuck.. Lucky.. r-right there! Shit!" Ronnie had gasped out
  113. >Lincoln's eye twitched, his grip on the metallic bat turning his knuckles pure white
  114. >"Y-you like that huh? I'm guessing little Linky didn't give it to you like this" Lucky had replied, in between thrusts
  115. >Lincoln raised the bat above his head, allowing all of his frustrations, the pent up years of pain and the hatred of this very moment, to gather
  116. >"F-Fuck Lucky.. I'm-" panted Ronnie, but was interrupted
  117. >A primal roar filled the room
  118. >Lincoln brought the bat down with enough force to create a hole in a wall
  119. >The bat connected directly with Lucky's head, the impact creating a visible dent before an explosion of blood pooled from the inflicted area
  120. >His head was so close to Ronnie Ann's that the force of the impact caused her face to slam into the back cushion of the couch
  121. >Lincoln lifted the bat once more, bringing it down again
  122. >and again
  123. >And again
  124. >...
  125. >>10114781 (You)
  126. >Ronnie could only look on in pure terror as Lucky's blood splattered across her face
  127. >Onto the couch
  128. >Onto the floor
  129. >The sound of Lucky's skull cracking and crumbling with each audible strike Lincoln laid upon his own brother, Traumatized her
  130. >Lincoln eventually stopped
  131. >Ronnie dared not peer to her left, she was paralyzed mentally from the amount of violence Lincoln just displayed
  132. >She stared at him
  133. >His expression was blank, his eyes soulless
  134. >"L-Lincoln...?" She whispered
  135. >He didn't respond
  136. >The bat was raised once more
  137. >Ronnie Ann's eyes went wide before an extremely sharp abrupt pain caused her to black out
  138. >...
  139. >Hours passed before she came to
  140. >Her eyes were shut, there was an immense pain coming from her nose and she could taste the rusty flavor of blood coat the inside of her mouth
  141. >An audible dripping could be heard directly to her left
  142. >The sound of water hitting a soft surface
  143. >She pried open her eyes, her vision blurred
  144. >She felt heavy, like something was weighing her down
  145. >She tried to move whatever was on top of her, off
  146. >It was heavy but eventually, it fell to the side, making a terrible splat as whatever it was made contact with the floor
  147. >Her senses were slowly coming back to her
  148. >She felt cold, and the smell of something rotting assaulted her broken nose
  149. >The dripping was now making contact with the couch
  150. >She leaned over the couch, puking onto the floor, or whatever was just on top of her, she didn't really know
  151. >Her visioned had cleared
  152. >On the floor, was the naked body of Lucky Loud
  153. >His skin was paler than normal
  154. >Glancing towards his head
  155. >She puked again
  156. >They were dry heaves, her having previously emptied her stomach a few seconds ago
  157. >Blood and chunks of his skull and brain matter were everywhere
  158. >She turned to lay back down on the couch, facing the the ceiling, only to come face to face with an even paler Lincoln Loud
  159. >He was suspended in mid air
  160. >His body being held up by a noose
  161. >A note was taped to his chest
  162. >Only one word was poorly written on the bloodied paper, scribbled in a rush
  163. >"Why...?"
  164. >Ronnie Ann began sobbing uncontrollably
  165. >"I-I'm so sorry Lincoln..." She cried out
  166. >Her apology fell on deaf ears
  167. >Both Lincoln Loud and his twin brother, Lucky Loud, were dead
  168. >...
  169. >Things had been silent at the Loud home for weeks now
  170. >Lori and Leni were the first ones to walk through the front door that fateful afternoon
  171. >Seeing both of their brothers' lifeless bodies haunted them ever since
  172. >Lucy had stopped mingling with the after life, the event scarring her
  173. >Luan stopped having the ability to make puns on the fly
  174. >Luna often turned the poems Lucy had been continuously writing about her deceased siblings, into songs she played on acoustic whenever she thought of them
  175. >Lynn lost motivation to practice any sport she loved
  176. >Lana and Lola had been sleeping together in the same bed for comfort
  177. >Lisa kept beating herself up for not noticing the numerous signs Lincoln had displayed
  178. >In fact, every member of the Loud family regretted not paying attention to Lincoln
  179. >Next to their parents, having just lost two kids they created and raised, Luna took it the hardest
  180. >She was supposed to be Lincoln's guardian
  181. >The person he could go to for anything
  182. >Unbeknownst to her parents, Luna had started drinking
  183. >Sam supplied her with alcohol, she had gotten addicted
  184. >It may only be temporary, but it helped
  185. >Lori had confronted Luna about her habits
  186. >This had broken out into a fist fight, leaving Lori with a missing tooth and Luna with a black eye
  187. >Leni had been the one to end the fight
  188. >She had become more responsible, more alert about what goes on
  189. >She was the only keeping everyone sane at the moment
  190. >...
  191. >Ronnie Ann had been suffering from insomnia
  192. >Every time she attempted to close her eyes, the events of that day played back in her mind
  193. >The pure hatred within Lincoln's eyes as he bashed Lucky's head in
  194. >The blood, bones and brain matter everywhere
  195. >Lucky's lifeless naked body on the floor
  196. >and Lincoln's lifeless eyes as they stared at her
  197. >The note with the single word
  198. >"Why...?"
  199. >Why? Why did she fall for Lucky's advances? Why did she do it while knowing how Lucky made his twin, her boyfriend, feel?
  200. >Why did she cheat on him within his own home?
  201. >Why did she add more fuel to the fire that eventually burned itself out?
  202. >Why did she kill the boy she loved?
  203. >Why...?
  204. >She continued to blame herself for his death
  205. >She had grown quiet
  206. >Her grades fell
  207. >She stopped helping at home
  208. >She stopped caring about anything
  209. >To this date, she had four attempts at suicide under her belt
  210. >The first being slitting her wrists in the bathtub
  211. >The next being an overdose of sleeping pills
  212. >The third being the same as the last
  213. >The final being forced asphyxiation
  214. >All thwarted by her older brother
  215. >By the third attempt, their mother decided it was time she got help
  216. >...
